This is a very cool old stove that was found in outdoor st orage. Hence the rust. The maker was known for manufacturing ovens and stoves. I would guess the date to be early 1900's? This is made of cast iron. And I can only guess that it was some kind of stove or grill? There is a heating element in the center and inlets for what I wou l d assume to be a gas supply. There also look s to be a center grate that's missing as well as an exterior guard that's missing. One of the g rates has a small hairline crack. From 1940's and is what is referred to as an"apartment stove" It is in great condition was stored since new and only used in our kitchen for last few years. There are two sides one to cook on(natural gas) and the other side was designed to heat the house(not connected but I believe it can be set up to run on#2 oil or kerosene and I have the directions) Details: Approx 40" wide White unblemished enamel top hingedcovers White enamel and black trim front and sides 12" backslash hood(with working clock. Working temperature gauge- over reads by about 50 degrees, storage compartment, and a under the hood light- no bulb installed) To the right of the oven is a compartment to store pots and pans and has shiny chrome trim all around unit. Regarding the oven/cooking side(about 60% of the stove) it was professionally serviced ... moreand had the thermostat/oven regulator redone when we installed it in our home. It has four burners which provide a beautiful blue flame and an auto pilot for burners. Regarding the heater side(about 40% of the stove) all components are there and has cast iron plates that cover the top which makes great space to use for prepping food or keeping things warm(does get warm/hot when stove is in use) It is currently connected(until 6/11) so you can see for yourself not only how beautiful it looks but how well it functionally works. Vintage Antique Gas Stove, circa 1940s, Brand Name: Universal
The oven runs very hot. Which might just be how these old things run, but it's best to keep an eye on your pizza while it's baking. Also. 2 of the control knobs on the front are broken. They do work, it's just that part of the knob is broken off. Other than that, this is a great old stove. If you love the old things, you'll love this! Thanks for looking.

Wow!! 1870's Antique Radiator Gas Stove RARE VINTAGE Heater Excellent+ MUST SEE
Hello.you are bidding on a piece of awesome functional history here. This is an 1870's vintage gas heater/radiator heating unit. An amazing Welsbach Kern cast iron gas mantle burner dating back to the 1870s and the beginnings of gas lighting. This was sold as a fabulous advance in technology casting the light of many candles. This was also a major advancement in safety for that time period so to have one was a true luxury. All taps and valves appear tight and firm but I have not tested this out. The markings. Patent info, and numbers are all highly visible. The front or face of this piece appears to be in almost factory condition. This piece has not been restored. It is simply just in that good of shape. Antique/Vintage 20's RARE HUMPHREY RADIANTFIRE #31 GENERAL GAS CO. STOVE
For your bidding consideration is an antique/vintage HUMPHREY RADIANTFIRE STOVE#31! This home heater/stove is from the 20's and has a decorative art deco look. Heavy metal/cast iron? I saw an ad from the early 20's for these stoves and the only way these could be obtained was from the General Gas Co. The ad stated this adds a warm. Friendly, personality to any home. Has a mellow glow and irresistable invitation to settle down in that comfy arm chair and light up the briar pipe. Experience the deep contentment of true fireplace magic. Burns natural or manufactured gas without a suggestion of odor. The heat is projected by radiant rays straight out into the room and not up the chimney. I moved into a house built in 1903 and this was in the formal dining room fireplace and was what they used to heat the room back in the day. The stove ... moreis in overall great condition of it's age and has been sitting in my fireplace for 10+ years and was well taken care of. The front is beautiful without dents and ornate decorative brass tops to either side and down the sides and the base. These would probably shine up nice with a good metal cleaner. The front grid lifts up to get to the burners and has the original ceramic back and you can see the holes where the gas comes out. I believe this also had the stand up ceramic/clay type burners. I really don't know the proper name for these but I have seen replacements in the hardware stores. The paint is in great condition to the front but the back has some superficial surface rust noted and the stove could use a good overall cleaning to bring back to it's original luster. There is a little flue to the back top. There is also a sticker on the side that says Testing laboratory approved and the Humphrey Radiantfire brass tag on the front bottom. There is sturdy free standing legs to the base and the original pipe coming from the stove that is attached to the turn knob to adjust the flame. The porcelain enamel jadeite green and cream finish is in excellent condition for being almost 80 years old with very few chips/scratches on the upper shelf(which is detachable) and a more noticeable large chip on the removable burner cover(pictured) The on/off/kindler knob appears to be missing but is still functional. Cooktop: cover has large chip. Burners all appear to be in working order and free of rust but have not been tested. The drip pan beneath the burners appears to be a little rusty. This model could have used oil or gas for fuel. Oven: features an external American Thermostat Company thermostat that reads from 200 to 650 degrees. There ... moreare 2 original oven shelves included. There is some rust on the bottom. Which is to be expected with any surface that comes into contact with fire, as well as the shelf slides. The handle is missing for the oven coal grate in the bottom of the oven. Wood burner: Handles are missing for both wood loading grates. The fire box appears to be rusty as well as the ash box below. Which is to be expected on surfaces that come in contact with fire. Wood burner controls seem to be in working order but have not tested. Stovepipe manifold: is rusty and part of the stovepipe manifold appears to have broken into two pieces. There is one screw that would hold it together on one side if it weren't so rusty. There are two additional metal pieces that appear to be for the manifold but there may be pieces missing. There are rust spots on the back of the stove. For sale is a" STEWART" stove door. Found this all metal greyish and white door without the stove anywhere in sight. Awaits your project or decor. This door is for either an old gas or wood cooking stove and is in pretty good shape. There are no hinges and the back(see pictures) has'holes' where the hinges once were. Also is missing a couple bolts/screws(could be hinge related) The front does have some staining and rust spots(mainly around the edges) but otherwise looks nice. Has" STEWART" written right in the middle. About 19 1/2" long. 12 3/4" wide, and weighs around 10 1/2 pounds. A solid piece that I could not pass up and know someone has a great use for. The 6" long handle is intact and firmly attached. This door will certainly need some rehab work if it is once again going to be put on a stove ... morebut I think it could be a valuable addition. The dust/kickboard is missing one side plus the otherside has a dent in the metal. I did not test it out and will need some further cleaning.
