It's the same brown throughout, no dark edges that was common back then. The door has a few very small scratches but very hard to see. The shine on it is like new! I had to use the flash on my camera to keep the reflection of items around the room out of the pic- that white spot is the flash. The back is attached and shone in a pic, there is a small spot where the enamel is missing toward the bottom. Could use a good cleaning, the latch is a little loose but can probably be fixed once the back panel is taken off. I have many parts and will try to list them all soon. If you need something. Please send a question and I'll check my stash for you. I do have the pantry floor that is in the matching grey and a brushed chrome top along with the backsplash with the atomic age electric clock still attached. Also the griddle in great shape and inner parts and other stuff I can't remember. This item is very heavy- if it costs more than $20. This catalog is nicely illustrated with several engravings and features the McDowell Oven which was a commercial oven for hotels and restaurants that came in four sizes ranging from 46 to 84 inches in length. Antique oven for woodburning stove
This very. Very old 11 x 12 inch oven was used in the early to mid 1800's from what I understand. You sit the oven on top of a woodburning heater and you baked in it. There is a small procelian pan that goes with it. It needs a good cleaning up as it has been stored for years. The glass on the front is cracked. It is a GREAt talk peace! I've learned a lot from having it. I was told by someone that only the wealthy had these. I was also told that it was used in homes with young girls as a"easy bake" would be used now. All I can tell you is it is very old and I wish I had a woodburing stove or I would not be selling it!

Antique Dixie stove from a 1950's era mobil home/travel trailer. We acquired this trailer on a piece of property we purchased. Utilities had been cut to the trailer so we had no way of testing this before it was removed. Pink in color. There are three small chips in the front. But haven't gone into excessive detailed cleaning as is obvious in some of the pictures. All of these knobs are originally from an Enterprise gas stove. But should interchange with some other stoves. The oven dial is in very nice condition. But has slight paint loss on some numbers. The chrome ring is in very nice condition with very light rust on the spring only- would brush off. There are 4 brown bakelite knobs which are also in very nice condition with no cracks or chips. But could use a lemon oil shine. I sell only quality ... morevintage and antique items. GREAT ANTIQUE VINTAGE WOOD STOVE OVEN Super Condition Household Home model-CHEAP
Up for sale is a great antique wood cooking stove. I believe it is a Household Ideal Home model stove. It has 8-172 cast into the top plate. I don’t know if it a model number or not. This is a 6 burner stove with a nice big side cook oven. It also has 2 great upper shelves to put stuff on. The side of the stove is marked-THE WHITE-WARNER CO.MAKERS—TAUNTON MASS. For condition, it is just in GREAT shape! You will have a hard time to find a stove at this level at this at this price! The nickel was restored about 30 years ago and has no rust at all! Any shadows in the pictures are due to the lighting I used. the nickel has just the right amount of wear to look just right for an old stove. The finish is the original black cast iron with no rust, just the right amount of age and heat oxidation on top near the burners. The thermostat on the door ... moreis good with no cracks. And it comes with the original handles for the burners. I do not see any cracks or anything at all wrong with the stove. It has actually been used for heating and cooking in the basement many years ago.
