This is a antique/ vintage cast iron pot belly stove made be S.S. R Co. in Rome. Georgia. It is called a Raven, NO. 66. It is 28" tall. It is 12" across. There is a 6 1/2" plate that lifts off. The front door measures 4" x 5 1/2" It has a draft control in it which operates freely. The lower door measures 9" x 3 1/2" and has an air adjustment screw turn that operates freely. The base is 14" square and the legs hold the stove 7 3/4" off the floor. There is also a grate inside the stove. It weights about 60lbs. I purchased this stove with the intention of hooking it up in one of our bedrooms. But found that it was not allowed under our local code so now it needs a new home. I have never used this stove, but our local stove shop said it was fully functional and the door draft adjustments work fine. ... moreThere are no holes, cracks or defects in it. Here we have a wonderful antique Abram Cox Pot belly cook stove in good vintage used condition. Black and gold trim. Has a number 12. On it. The stove measures about 24 inches tall, by 18 3/4 inches by 20 1/2 inches at the top by 18 inches by 20 inches at the base. Has two areas on top for cooking Missing one grate of two. Has door below for cleaning out ash after the wood or coal is gone. This is a great little stove for a cabin, for heat or to cook on for that great vintage cabin feel. Has a hole on top in back for a vent pipe. Needs to be checked out for safety before you use it. Was only used recently for a decorative piece in our home. Has a little vent flue that slides back and forth for air circulation. Has a wonderful eagle picture on the front of the stove. Looks pretty much original as far as I can tell but I am no expert on antique ... morestoves. The stove may need a part that is missing that I am not aware of. The stove has a great look to it with lots of character and charm. I think it dates to the early 1900's or so. Stove is marked Abram Cox Stove Co. The finial is a bit over 3 7/8" tall from base to center top tip. 2 5/8" wide at the Florence lettering, and a variable(thinner at the top) 1/4" thick. The base of the finial is a rough 1/2" in both directions and does not have a hole for mounting. A magnet does not stick and we are not sure of the material it is made of. We found no breaks or missing pieces, but the part does have oxidation/discoloration as shown in the photos. A great old stove finial!
