Up for bid is this nice antique gas heater. The only identifying mark on this unit is on the manufacturers tag. The Superior Manufacturing Company Carnegie Penn. Model#7710. The unit measures 23" wide x 20" tall x 9" deep.This unit has been stored in a warehouse and worked when it was put away.The metal does show some surface rust and some dust from storage. All of the ceramic radiants are in tact with no breaks. Radiants will be shipped seperately as they are very fragile* The stone surround is also in tact with no chips or cracks. I have sold a few of these heaters on ebay and have recieved positve feedback on the transaction. This housing is in generally good condition but does have some small cracks along the seams. The firebox is in poor condition- it has burned through and has some pieces broken off. Offered is a cast iron stove eye lifter and shaker wrench tool. These were used to lift the eyes. Or lids on old cook and heating stoves. This piece is unmarked so I am unable to connect it with a particular maker or era. It has a bit of decoration indicating that it may have belonged to a more ornate parlor stove. It is obviously an older piece. The lifter is about 6-1/2 inches long and weighs about 5.2 ounces. I can't find the slightest damage beyond light use marks and some surface roughness. Likely from the original casting. The end of lifting lug is about 1/2 by 5/8 by 1/8 inches, and is slightly irregular. These can sometimes be ground a bit to fit a particular eye. What I'm calling a shaker wrench on the opposite end may actually be another sort of rod pulling tool. This is(I think? a Cast Iron Flue Cover. I can't imagine what else it could be if not a flue cover? It is 8 3/8ths inches across and is slightly bowled- about one inch. It is Very Ornate with very intricate cut out areas and lots of embossed detail on the ironwork also. The detail is just as detailed on the back as it is on the front. It has a very stiff sturdy wire hang loop and has raised initials SHW of the maker( Not sure what it is. But the possibilities are endless! I could see it wired on an entrance gate or in the garden, or just hang it on the wall. Very Cool piece! It weighs 1 pound 5 ounces without a box. No cracks or breaks anywhere.

This was made in Chicago Illinois. I am not exactly sure when it was made but it is old. Very ornate and decorative utilitarian piece. This stove does need some work and elbow grease. Has surface rust that needs cleaned up. Some repairs, there are bolts that will need replaced. Is definitely a fixer upper. May also have additional imperfections. Antique H.P. Numbered Gas Heater - Cast Iron and Ornate Sheet Steel w/ Cut Outs
Offered for auction is this beautiful repainted Victorian Cast Iron and Sheet Steel Parlor Room Gas Heater. The stove base outside identifies it as a H.P. stove. We have not been able to find out anything about this manufacturer. There is the number A 673 on the underside of the silver top which is removeable. And A 674 on the underside of the base. These silver parts look to have been sandblasted clean and repainted with the silver finsh. The ornate sheet steel center has also so been redone in flat black high intensity paint. The 3 legs are flared and the silver base and the removeable silver top all feature intricate scroll work. The stove base measures 11" from one of the three feet to the next foot does not include the measurement of the gas fitting and on/off lever It measures 21" tall. Antique Cast Iron Ornate Pot Belly Stove Insert/Door/Vent~Marked "M-97"
Marked only"M-97" on the back as seen in the second photo~unknown maker. I'm not even sure what to call it.but it's a door or vent for a pot belly stove I assume. Measures 13" x 7" roughly and is slightly concave. It has two"arms" or"feet" that look like they would attach to the front of the stove. Great old piece!
