This stove was purchased by a lady new on the outskirts of Shelbyville, Ky. and remained in her home until it was ... moresold in an Estate after she had passed away. The gentleman that I purchased this from is the one who had purchased it at the Estate auction around 1996. With the intent on installing it in his older Shelbyville home's kitchen which was undergoing a restoration. Anyway, he decided to go a different direction on the appliances, and that is when I came to own this remarkable stove. It was late 1996 when I purchased it. And the gentleman to me a story that I must pass on to you. The lady who originally bought this stove had used it daily since new, but being in her late 80's and a widow was pressured by her family to get a"new fangled" stove with autopilot features as they were concerned for her safety with a standing pilot light, and they were even going to pay for it. She refused over and over again until finally one day she said she would accept a"new" stove as long as they had"her" trusty companion"stove" installed down in the basement so that she could cook her Holiday dinner on her own stove. And so it would be! But when the kids were cleaning up the her old house for the estate sale. They noticed how clean the"new" stove was, and came to the conclusion that she had in fact not been using it at all, but going up and down the basement stairs everyday until her death. HMMMMMph? Anyway. When I purchased this in 1996, I took to the local appliance store for a"once over" cleaning, inspection, tune-up as well as having the oven controller removed and sent out to the Tulsa Stove Hospital to have it re-calibrated. I also had the top burners and grate re-porcelained by a company in Tennessee. I was having a"new" Victorian Country built, and this was installed upon moving in. Antique Savoil Kitchen Stove
This stove was in our garage when the previous owners bought the property in 1941. And was a used stove at that time. It appears to have been painted with some non-heat-resistant paint in some places, so needs to be restored(see photos) We have not tried to use it, so do not know what repairs it may need. One of the five oil holders is missing. It has the Savoil name on the top backsplash. There are 3 burners for the top, plus 2 burners under the oven. The bottom left drawer(under the burners) will not stay closed, so needs repair. Behind the burners is an opening for the ventilation pipe(see photos) Overall dimensions are 45" long, 23" deep(plus 1.5 inches for handles) 35" high(plus 4 inches for backsplash) The burner opening is 24" x 12" and the oven is 16" x 13" The stove has been sitting in the upstairs ... moreof our garage. This is for a Vintage Antique 1930's Griswold New American Kitchen Steel Spindle Stove Damper. Erie PA. U.S.A. 6 in. 1426 L. Reversible. Four Patents( of which two I can't read) 1. 2.099,604, issue date August 17, 1937. 2. 2.118,752, issue date May 24, 1938. The damper is in good used condition. A portion of the damper is pitted. The glass globe(or jar or ball or bottle) is rather large and measures roughly 8" in height and about 7" in diameter. The side is embossed with"Use Kerosene Only. Not sure if this is of a Perfection stove. The bottom is embossed with a number 5. And another number or two which are under the metal band or strap. The glass looks to be free of any cracks. The metal strap around the globe shows rust from age. The glass has some wavy areas. Overall this antique looks to be in fair condition and is sure to be a nice addition to your collection. Antique Vintage 1950s Electric Hotpoint Kitchen Stove Dbl Oven Everything Works
This is a wonderful old 50s electric kitchen range. Everything is in working order with the old push button controls. I could not find any chips in the enamel and an overall. Clean and well cared for look. It has a double oven and two drawers at the bottom. It has installation instructions and wiring diagrams still attached to the back(see pics 8& 9) and has a cool drip pan that gives bake info on it(pic 11) Now for the not so great parts. In pic 7 hopefully you can see the little knob on the clock is missing and in pics 11& 12 you will see that it does have some rust but has no soft spots from it. Also only one oven rack. This funky antique Majestic Stove Scale measures just over 8" tall. The base is 8" by 6-1/8" The top is a white glazed tile- original. The Majestic name is on the dial. Antique 1920s GE Hotpoint Stove Kitchen Oven - Great Condition!
Gorgeous. 1920s GE Hotpoint oven- in great condition! This rare find has been kept covered for quite some time, and is ready to be the centerpiece of a vintage kitchen, or a show-stopper wherever you choose to display it. With top oven. Warmer drawer, 3 burners, steamer pot, crumb-catcher, and warmer, this was the highest quality, top-of-the line kitchen stove when it was produced. The design was fashionable as well as practical, and it has nice styling on the dials, built-in reference guide to cooking times, and handles. The great: well maintained. And still has a shine and luster from its quality construction. Even better, the electrical still works- we've tested it, and when plugged in, the bulb came right on, and at least 2 of the burners get hot immediately when turned on. The less great: the knob that controls the main oven is slightly ... morebent. So we were not able to turn that on to test. Given the condition it's been kept in, we feel it's likely a minor issue. The warmer drawer is also missing a handle. In great. Fully working condition, these can draw $2000 or more. Judging by the people that have stopped just to look at it, it's worth it just for advertising. However, we are out of space, and would like to move this. It will need a small amount of TLC to hit that perfect condition, and we are factoring that into our asking price of just $500. Marked local pick-up only. This is a working beautiful appliance. The Country Kitchen range stove/oven, put out by Sears, Roebuck and Co. in the 1980's as a retro model. It was originally purchased by my Grandparents new and has been in the family ever since. It does work. It plugs into a 220 electric outlet and can be used for your cooking needs. I have the original owner's manual. The bottom legs are cast iron with lovely detail. This would be perfect for an old farm house or any older home. This stove has tons of character and is a great conversation piece. It measures 25' deep by 38' wide by 35 1/2" tall not measuring the back splash piece. It is standard height and depth as your standard counter tops but is wider than a standard range. This is a local pick up only, be sure to have a truck or trailer to haul. This is a working astove. It was working when I removed it from the former owner all it is missing is the wall plate that attaches to the chimney. Talk about a cutie! The measurments are approximatley 2 1/2 feet tall(those older grannies were short) the width with out the side bar is about 2 1/2 feet. The total height is about 4 feet. It would nicley in a little cabin to use for cooking or heat source. I have taken such good care of this baby since I have had it-but it is time to downsize and let some of my treasures go. The small size makes it perfect for many uses. I never had room for it as a working stove so I used it as a bar area and kept my cookbooks in the oven. Pickup only. Good luck1

Silver colored trim. Gray enamel coal, wood burning antique Universal kitchen stove. It works and I used it. It has spare parts for the inside, plus all the silver colored plate cover handles are included. It disassembles for easier moving, the legs are separate, the lower oven part, then the top back lifts off. It is now disassembled, ready for local pickup only. I think it is in excellent condition considering its age, and it shines up beautifully. Great for a cabin. CHARMING ANTIQUE PITTSTON #991 PALE YELLOW AND GREEN KITCHEN COAL STOVE
This is a Pittston#991 coal stove from the early 1900's and was used til the early 1980's. All of the removed doors. Tools and parts are photographed. The bottom of the stove is 2 parts and stands 31" high, 35" from front to back and 38" wide. The top is 29" high with a 10" roll top storage. The oven door cover is in good shape and has the glass oven heat indicator dial with raised PITTSTON logo(knob is seperate) The coal door has the raised#991 and sliding vent with rusty knob. There are 2 more of these doors with knobs to complete the bottom front of stove. Cooking area includes the pieces to assemble the flat top with all burnerplates and tools that u see. It has been kept covered and untouched in a garage corner for the last 35 years and has its share of dust and rust but is in overall good shape considering ... morethe age. Over 40 pieces of the stove are included and I will be happy to answer any questions, but what you see is what you get. This stove still has all the charm of the warm kitchen it came from over 50 years ago and comes with a lot of memories.
