And there is some surface rust from over the years. I love the look as is. However, from my reasearch I have seen these beautifully redone, but I thought it was best to let the restoration up to the new owner. It measures 23.5 inches tall x 16.75 inches at the furthest distance between the legs. The vents all seem to work well. And the heater opens and closes nicely. The oil tank is really cool as well, being made out of either brass or copper! It may need a wick in the near future, but the heater lights up nicely(as can be seen in the pictures) And yes, I emptied out all the oil afterwards in order to avoid a huge mess in the mailing process. Coal and wood burning stoves had been the alternative, but they burned dirty and required lots of labor and then attention while cooking. The Florence Stove pictured here burned kerosene. The water heater pictured in the kitchen next to the kitchen sink of the artwork is also fueled by kerosene. This stylistic ad combines ... morethe artistry of a mother doing her chores more quickly and efficiently while it also addresses the safety concerns. The stove featured is a four burner with two of those being for the oven. This ad includes a cut away oval showing the details of the burner mechanism. This old. Glass, fuel jar was probably used as a reservoir to supply kerosene to a cook stove. Or maybe an antique heat stove. It has a spring loaded valve that still works perfectly- and features a metal band around the middle of the jar that held the iron bail. Or handle. CONDITION is VERY GOOD- no cracks or damage to the glass- just wear from use( circa early 1900s) The bottom exhibits some stretched glass residue. A pontil mark, from when it was originally blown. These are NOT cracks, clearly they stand out in relief, little ridges that can be seen and detected with the fingernail. The chrome/stainless steel trim has surface corrosion and can be restored to its beauty when it was new 100 years ago. The patent date is May 23. 1913. The kerosene oil tank has the fuel gauge that shows how much fuel remains in the tank. I have not tested that to see if it is functioning. There is a wick although I don’t know if it is still usable. Antique Perfection Smokeless Oil- Kerosene Heater Antique Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater. I rubbed off enough of the"patina" to determine this heater has 1900 and 1902 patent dates. There is also a"7 12" stamped in the top of the wick cap(see 2nd to last photo) That may indicate a production date. I think the later models came out in 1913. It still has a good Perfection wick. This kerosene heater measures approximately 24 1/2" tall, 12 1/2" side to side, and 12 1/2" front to back. This old heater appears complete except for the sight glass and would make a great restoration project if you want it to look like new. Or you could leave it as is, as shown in photos, for a rustic addition to your decor.

From a farm auction- vintage/antique oil heater tank and burner- see all pictures to see condition. It is red metal with some paint loss and rust. Around the burner on the red part are the numbers 2250.198.2.2500.710 and the word OTHER. On the bottom are words that I can not make out and I can see TYPE U. I didn't see another like this on ebay. The top piece that has the handle like pull turns off and the center pops up. It stands 4 1/2" tall and the bottom diameter is 5" Is it complete- I do not know but I consider it quite a unique piece. Antique 1913 Perfection #630 Kerosene/Oil Heater, Baby Blue!
Here is a rare baby blue and black trimmed Perfection#630 kerosene heater. In good overall condition! The enamel and metal have signs of age and use, the front, silver mesh grille has some indentations, and there is no drip pan. The lattice work is intact. The top air flow adjuster slides back and forth easily. The release latch to enter the bottom compartment opens easily, and the kerosene holder itself is intact, though rusted. I was unable to open the fill plug due to it's being rusted closed, but perhaps a handy person could open it. The spring for the kerosene gauge works fine, and even the chain attached to the bail handle is present. The heater's main handle works. But the left side slips a little, and the handle itself is a little crooked(see pictures) The feet are all in very good condition. The heater weighs approximately ... more11 lbs. We have for sale an Antique Perfection Smokeless Enamel Model 660 Turquoise Blue Kerosene/Oil Heater. This was an estate find. It stands 24 inches in height not including the handle and the legs sit 17 inches apart at the base. The stove was PAT June 17 1913. The condition of the stove is very nice. Some light surface rust and scratches, nothing major. The enamel does show some wear at a couple places. The brass burner insert is in great condition, no holes complete with wick although you may want to change it out before firing it up. This unit has not been tested but I feel pretty confident that it will work fine. I believe it could be polished up to look even nicer. A nice display piece as well as functional. Here's an antique original cast iron DAISY NO.2 PAT.1893 portable kerosene cook stove or heating stove over 100 years old. CENTRAL OIL& GAS STOVE CO. DAISY NO.2 PAT MAY 16 1893(all boldly emb on front) This iron stove has double kerosene burners with square iron tank in the base.iron grate top.long oval tin flu vents on side of stove.8 1/2"tall x6"long x 5 1/2"wide.front has a little clip which can be opened to lift the top part of the stove for cleaning. There are two little"hinges" on back which hold it in place tight. But if pivoted, the whole top of the stove can be removed. Cork stopper on kerosene tank opening hole. Excellent condition with no damage or rust. One of the mica heat shields in front is damaged. Both tin flu chimneys are in excellent solid condition with no rust or holes. Very heavy.
