The gentleman that I purchased this from is the one who had purchased it at the Estate auction around 1996. With the intent on installing it in his older Shelbyville home's kitchen which was undergoing a restoration. Anyway, he decided to go a different direction on the appliances, and that is when I came to own this remarkable stove. It was late 1996 when I purchased it. And the gentleman to me a story that I must pass on to you. The lady who originally bought this stove had used it daily since new, but being in her late 80's and a widow was pressured by her family to get a"new fangled" stove with autopilot features as they were concerned for her safety with a standing pilot light, and they were even going to pay for it. She refused over and over again until finally one day she said she would accept a"new" stove as long as they had"her" trusty companion"stove" installed down in the basement so that she could cook her Holiday dinner on her own stove. And so it would be! But when the kids were cleaning up the her old house for the estate sale. They noticed how clean the"new" stove was, and came to the conclusion that she had in fact not been using it at all, but going up and down the basement stairs everyday until her death. HMMMMMph? Anyway. When I purchased this in 1996, I took to the local appliance store for a"once over" cleaning, inspection, tune-up as well as having the oven controller removed and sent out to the Tulsa Stove Hospital to have it re-calibrated. I also had the top burners and grate re-porcelained by a company in Tennessee. I was having a"new" Victorian Country built, and this was installed upon moving in. Restored Antique Bridge Beach Superior Eureka Gas, Coal and Wood Stove Range
Beautifully restored circa 1923 Bridge Beach. Superior Eureka gas, coal and wood stove. I replated all of the nickel and the original blue and white finish is in beautiful condition, with a few blemishes. I only cooked on the wood side once, but I've used the gas side for the last few years and it works great. The thermostat in gas oven is actually quite accurate. The wood and coal part consists of four burners and the lower oven. Then there are the frour natural gas cooking burners and the one simmer burner on the right side. Up above on the left is the gas oven which is controlled by a very accurate thermostat. On ther right is the gas broiler. It is the most furocious broiler I've ever seen. Take a look at the picture. This is a very cool old stove that was found in outdoor st orage. Hence the rust. The maker was known for manufacturing ovens and stoves. I would guess the date to be early 1900's? This is made of cast iron. And I can only guess that it was some kind of stove or grill? There is a heating element in the center and inlets for what I wou l d assume to be a gas supply. There also look s to be a center grate that's missing as well as an exterior guard that's missing. One of the g rates has a small hairline crack. Center connections for hot and cold water, heavy double seamless-drawn copper coil, casting and finish of usual Vulcan smoothness and finish. Rove diameter of base 8 1/2" Length of the jacket is 24" and consumption 50 to 60 cu ft, and weighs 50 lbs. As shown in the pictures. All parts seem to be there, some rusting in areas, the top pipe I could not remove so I will have to cut it for shipping and will leave enough to get the pipe wrench on it. Antique Cribben and Sexton Stove. I am second owner of this stove tho have stored it for 30 years awaiting purchase of house with a kitchen large enough to accomodate it. I have never used the stove tho cooktop was in use by original owner. Specific date of stove 1915-1918 assuming by patent stamps on various pieces. Issues are predominately with gas supply. The linkage that raises and lowers the oven burner to control oven temperature has snapped tho both cast iron pieces fit and could be welded. The linkage that extends to the front of the stove which allows gas to the oven and broiler is snapped and the front piece is missing(photo) The gas valve to the broiler is missing as is the standard black pipe supply. The firebox liners have been overheated(photo) and do not seem to fit in properly.Homestead stoves for replacements) Also missing ... moreis the firebox shaker. The cast iron vent is intact. From 1940's and is what is referred to as an"apartment stove" It is in great condition was stored since new and only used in our kitchen for last few years. There are two sides one to cook on(natural gas) and the other side was designed to heat the house(not connected but I believe it can be set up to run on#2 oil or kerosene and I have the directions) Details: Approx 40" wide White unblemished enamel top hingedcovers White enamel and black trim front and sides 12" backslash hood(with working clock. Working temperature gauge- over reads by about 50 degrees, storage compartment, and a under the hood light- no bulb installed) To the right of the oven is a compartment to store pots and pans and has shiny chrome trim all around unit. Regarding the oven/cooking side(about 60% of the stove) it was professionally serviced ... moreand had the thermostat/oven regulator redone when we installed it in our home. It has four burners which provide a beautiful blue flame and an auto pilot for burners. Antique Parlor Stove Gas Wood Coal Nickel Trim
Antique cast iron parlor stove that apparently burned coal. Wood or ran on gas. The gas burner is gone from the inside, leaving the vent and gas pipe bracket on the right side. The interior is all there including the coal grate and ash tray. They must have used it for burning coal at one time. No rust through on outside sheet metal. The nickel plated trim is still very nice but there is a weld repair on the front foot rest rail. You can see this in one of the photos. It is a nice smooth repair but it did take the nickel off at that spot. Have never used one of these and don't know much about them. The dimensions are approx: 37" tall by 20" wide by 18" deep. The name on the front is COLGAS UNIVERSAL No. 316. The ornamental top swings away to reveal a small lift off lid to put a pot on. Probably made a bout 1900- 1920. Kalamazoo, Michigan and the door says Bakeasy This stove has a great mint green and white color combination- super retro and cool. I don't really know when it was made. But other stoves of this type found online referenced 1925. The top comes off the base. You can also open up the stove on top and in front to access everything(this is a normal and very good thing) It is clear that solid fuel was burned in this stove last time based on the ash in the bottom part. I don't know if it was wood or coal. The firebox is fairly small. So I would think coal would be more practical, but then again, where there's a will, there's a way. The crank that would turn the parts under the firebox is missing. I would think you could find one

Here is an extremely clean antique Grand Stove by Cleveland Stove Works. I'm guessing from the 1920s or 30s. It is in complete working order. Has the original racks and burners! This stove has been lovingly maintained over the years. The Jadite colored knobs and handles set this stove apart from the others! Would look gorgeous in a vintage retro kitchen. The iron grates have been seasoned as one would do to a cast iron pan, which gives a nice color to the iron. We are selling this awesome stove as is- meaning buyer uses at own risk. Antique Tappan Deluxe 40" Gas Stove
For sale! Some of you might recognize this from a previous listing. Due to a number of requests for more detailed pictures. I have decided to re-list it with many more photos. Description: Antique, functioning Tappan Deluxe 40 inch range. Has only had one owner and came with the home I just purchased. Porcelain is in great shape and still shiny. There are 3 spots on the stove where the porcelain has been chipped or worn. One of the spots is on the surface at the corner of the back right burner(see photo) Other points are on the right side of the stove. One spot at the bottom front corner about the size of a quarter and another on the upper side(see photos) Other points of concern are the two right hand side stainless steel burner plates. 1950's Antique Classic gas Wedgewood stove FREE SHIPPING!!!
This is a 1950's Wedgewood gas stove- range. I had this stove completed refurbished several years back. Everything works great. Except for the clock and timer. I hardly use it to cook. I eat out most of the times. It has an oven and a broiler, 4 burners and a griddle. It measures 40 1/4" wide x 28" deep x 36 1/4" high(front) and 46 1/2" back) I had new insulation put in and new gas lines. The grates were dipped in black porcelain. The burners were soaked in acid to clean them out real good. All of the lights work. The stove does have some dings and blemishes as you can see in the pictures. But other than that it work great.
