This is a French made oil burning parlor stove called" Flamme Bleue" It is black metal with green enamel details. It comes with the brass oil pot and is being sold in as is condition. There are a few chips to the enamel.Nothing major, but needed mentioned. It is an antique and will show signs of its age, the enamel is original to the stove. There is a mica window in the front framed by an ornate green enamel arch and all four legs have lions heads.There are two handles one on each side of the stove. It measures 23" high 12 3/4" from handle to handle and 8 3/4" wide.

Antique Cast Iron Decorative Cottage Home Wood Coal Stove French Country Decor
This is a beautiful old stove that is actually called Cottage Home. It is made by Southard Robertson& Co. in Peekskill. NY. It is able to be shipped since it falls within the UPS and Fed Ex Ground limits. It probably weighs about 30 lbs. It is absolutely beautiful and functional in the way that I have been using it. The last pic is a heater that I purchased at my local electrical supply store. It is a perfect fit once I place one brick for it to be vented in the perfect spot. I say perfect because you not only get the best venting but you barely see it. You have to be searching for it. It is lighter than other models of this vintage because the back of it has always had a piece of curved sheet metal. The stove pipe actually is made to go out that way. The original piece is still on it. I wouldn't want to make a fire in it indoors ... morebut one could use this instead of a chiminea outside. It is a gorgeous piece that will fit right in with Country French or Shabby Cottage. I bought it like I do for most things, to use in a photo shoot as part of a set design. It has a very ornate finial which I actually don't use. I have for the most part left that off or sometimes have replaced it with a small lamp finial. This auction is for the stove only. However, if one wants the heater to go with it I will sell it for what I paid for it. You can actually get one cheaper than mine at Bed Bath and Beyond or even on Amazon. I paid extra to have a metal one instead of plastic. The heater warms up the stove as well generating a very comfortable heat source. The electrical cord is not visible as I run it out where the stove pipe would go. I prefer local pick up because it will be costly to ship as it will require a good size box but I will offer that if someone is interested.
