It does have scratches and needs a good cleaning. A lot of the dirt looks like it could be cleaned off. I've seen newer models of this stove on Ebay in the past but haven't been ever seen this 1950's model. One of the back legs is bent, see pictures. The stove meausres 13 1/2 inches long by 13 inchess Tall. It is 7 inches deep. I tried to take pictures from every angle so you can see exactly what you're getting. This is a wonderful old 50s electric kitchen range. Everything is in working order with the old push button controls. I could not find any chips in the enamel and an overall. Clean and well cared for look. It has a double oven and two drawers at the bottom. It has installation instructions and wiring diagrams still attached to the back(see pics 8& 9) and has a cool drip pan that gives bake info on it(pic 11) Now for the not so great parts. In pic 7 hopefully you can see the little knob on the clock is missing and in pics 11& 12 you will see that it does have some rust but has no soft spots from it. Also only one oven rack. 1953 Vintage antique HOME COMFORT E-1 electric cooking stove range oven IT WORKS
Vintage Home Comfort E-1 electric cooking stove. This stove worked when my step-grandpa last used it. After testing it recently. I found that both the upper and lower coils in the oven heat up, as can be seen in the photo, so the oven works. All four burners also heat as they should. I cannot get the dial to turn to test the middle"deep well. However, I may have been doing something wrong as I initially thought the oven was not working until I found the manual, which also goes along with the auction, and realized I just had it in the wrong mode. I should have re-tested the deep well dial after finding the manual, but I forgot to, and the stove is almost 2 hours from us. The plastic/glass cover is missing off the timer, and I did not test the timer. It has been kept in his kitchen in his heated home for the last ten years. It is as is ... morebut most everything appears to be working. The burners and oven definitely work. It is about 40 inches wide by about 27 inches deep(including the handles out front) and the height from the floor to the top is about 37 inches plus about another 9 inches for the area where the dials are located. This stove was built in 1991. It is 46" wide, 26" deep, and 66" tall. All of the stove works as it should, no problems that I know of. I have used it since I bought my home 5 years ago. There is a light and exhaust fan in the upper portion of the stove. The burners are sealed and the stove top is very easy to clean. The oven does hold a 25 pound turkey and the broiler is located to the left in it's own space. There is storage under the oven as well as under the broiler. The controls are located to the right of the burners. This stove is in good condition.

I am in the middle of restoring my 1952 stove. It is great condition as is but I am doing some extensive cleaning and polishing and replacing some pieces that could use it. This is a beautiful black and white enamel stove modified for electric by Country Charm. Everything worked when we removed it from our kitchen. Although the dials are a bit worn. The clock looks like an old coffee mill and there are small nooks and cubbies. The modern controls are hidden behind a small door on the front of the stove. The oven is very small. I have the matching electric cast iron wall oven by Country Charm that was used for additional oven space in a separate listing. It requires 220v service and vents through a stovepipe. It is extremely charming and was in our home when we moved here. But I prefer a gas range. Very rare, circa 1930s, combination wood and electric kitchen cook stove in green and cream enamel made by Wood& Bishop in Bangor, Maine. The wiring, switches and heating elements are all original. Buyer should not expect to use the electric burners or oven without having it checked out. There are some issues as maybe expected from everyday use: the knob on the front sliding damper has been replaced with a homemade wooden one; the center stand that supports the top cross plates of the fire box has wasted away some; one stove lid is broken; the bottom oven door does not close all the way due to two broken bolt fasteners above the oven door that has allowed the stove panel to bow out slightly; there is a missing ... moredamper at the wood fired end; one electric heat plate has some chips in the grooves; The top nickel plated rail has some rust pitting and has a brazed repair; and there are scratches, chips and wear in the enamel finish as expected. 1950's Frigidaire stove. Beautiful condition. All parts are included. Still works great! Even lights on face of stove work! Nice warming drawer and large storage drawer underneath. This is a used stove and over 60 years old so it is not brand new but is in great shape for its age. The inside needs cleaned and there is one paint chip on the front(see picture) Still, it is gorgeous! Antique cast iron flat stove circa 1909 made by general electric
For your consideration I have a 1909 G.E. flat stove. Bottom reads? Electric stove. Cat no, 76616. volts 106-115. AMP max 5-55.7 med. min. General Electric co U.S.A. I found this on the internet doing a google search. I found the exact picture( I think it was from an old sales catalog? It stated it was a 1909 flat stove. It has no cord with it. That is even if this came with a cord. From a diagram I found it looked like the stove plugged into the house. Like we now have a 220 for our electric stoves already there. BUT I could be mistaken on that and this may have came with a cord that has just went missing. I do know that in 1909 electric was in its infancy and nothing then was wired as it is today and even if I could plug it in I wouldn't as I would figure it would at best fry it at worse start a fire. Neat old piece for any cast iron ... morecollection. Would look great with a small cast iron skillet setting on it. Or a great piece for early electric collectors. CONDITION. As you can see in the pictures it has no damage other than age patina and some surface rust underneath. The receptacle is not cracked and intact. No cracks or breaks in the cast iron or other parts.
