An antique parlor heat stove by PENINSULAR STOVE CO of Detroit. Chicago and Buffalo, model 211. This stove is in need of restoration or for parts. This is a pretty stove with both Victorian and Art Nouveau design elements. As it stands it is 40" tall to the top of the brass finial and measures 16 1/2" across and 14" 1/4 deep at the bottom. Across the front of the bottom it is cast WORLD'S LEADER, and a large initial"K" is cast underneath the opening for the flue. The stove is missing the base. It would have been 14 1/4 X 16 1/2. The mica or isinglass panes in the door and on both sides of the stove show some damage and loss. There is a little loss to the iron at the top of the left and right sides where the cap sits on it. The domed cap is cracked, the round plate on top is cracked in two. we have one of the foot ... morewarmer rest, missing the other. There are 2 pieces of a teracotta type material in the bottom and another is like stovepipe the bottom has some breaking through places.The brass finial sits a little cocked.and most likely is missing its scroles. This little stove is, I believe what they called a 4 o'clock stove. They were a smaller size that would just be used in the evening for a single room. Stands about 28 inches tall and is only 18 inches across and is 16 inches deep. As you can see I have NICKLE PLATED all the predominant pieces. there are 2 beautiful Victorian ladies, one on each side, the top, grill, drawer, front hanging door and the hearth. Antique Cast Iron Parlor Stove Finial- with Brass and Copper! This antique cast iron parlor stove finial was found in the attic of a relative's house we are helping clear out! We don't know too much about it. But it is cast iron, with the top pieces looking like they are brass and copper! The only identifying mark we could find is on the bottom as photographed- BS015" in the casting. The piece measures approximately 9" across the base by 11" high. And weighs approximately 2.6 lbs! I do not know much about it but was told it has been stored in a barn. Not sure how long tho but it appears to be in very nice vintage condition. I believe it is missing a few of the fancy skirting trim pieces but not for sure on that either. It does have a little surface rust in some spots and could use a good cleaning. The tag with the No 30 appears to be broke and only shows 30. It measures approx. 32" tall x 19" wide x 13" deep. This old stove vent is from a Wesco stove. Made of cast iron and very ornamental with the name in middle. Backside has a model number and letters. Has a lip hinge on top back side. Shows its age with rusting and some minor pitting. No breaks or cracks. Still very solid. Would restore well! Measures 6 7/8" in diameter. Has been brushed down some but no major cleaning has been done. This was found in a drawer of an old cabinet in a fallen down barn here in the Ozarks. Untouched for 35 or more years! Check out my! It is 25" wide at the very widest. 22" deep at the very deepest, and 26" high- the crown on top is an additional 6" high. The stove has 2 openings on top- the crown lifts up to a small opening and also the whole top lifts up by the handle in the front. There are 2 small doors in the front that open as well.
