It has a Pineapple Water bowl which acted as a humidifier when in actual use in the late 1800's. Can be used with gas logs if properly vented. This catalog is single piece slightly oversized four page pamphlet format folding out to about 17.5" x 11.5" with detailed engravings and descriptive information on 14 different stoves sold by the company. 1940's / 1950's Vintage Magic Chef Stove American Stove Company Model 6401-14
This is a gas Magic Chef stove made by the American Stove Company. Model number 6401-14. The stove came from an estate in Ohio and was said to be working when removed from the home. I have never tested it so I cannot verify that all parts work properly but an appliance technician should be able to help you with this. This stove is missing one red knob and the pull rings for the top burner covers. It has some wear. But is in overall good vintage condition. ANTIQUE DOE-WAH-JACK AMERICAN INDIAN FIGURAL METAL FINIAL ROUND OAK WOOD STOVE
Original and hard to find Chief Doe-Wah-Jack metal figurine that used to stand on top of a Round Oak wood stove. Manufactured in Dowagiac, Michigan in the early 1900's. This Indian Chief statue is hollow-cast in a bronze finished metal with excellent detail. He has two feathers on his head; I believe there used to be a third one, but it's missing. The statue stands 11.25" tall on a 2.5" diameter round base embossed"DOE-WAH-JACK" There are two holes on each side of the base, two on either side of his head, and one in his fist that were used to hold a metal garland of leaves that surrounded the figurine, but it is also long gone. The Indian is in very good condition with no noticeable cracks or damage other than the missing third feather. Griswold American Reversible Steel Spindle Patented July 20. 1915(Almost 100 years old) For a Wood Burning Stove Flue Would make a great kitchen hanging. Especially for Griswold Collectors. Or for Primitives Collectors. 5 1/2" diameter. The Spindle is 6" long. Color is black with gold lettering(Good Condition! There are some small shallow pits in the black paint. There is some wear and chipped paint on the spindle handle.

Early19th Century American Cathedral Style Box Parlor Stove
Early American box stove made by S. H. Langdon of Castleton VT. The family foundry was in Rutland County Vermont. According to my research the foundry closed doors in the 1850s so this stove dates to before then. This is a box stove often used to heat parlors and is made of 6 cast iron plates. The style has cathedral type motifs on the sides and the name of the maker cast on the front door. No cracks that I could see. Very solid.
