Group of 3 Antique Cast Iron Wood Coal Stove Lid Lifters, Grate Shakers, Etc.
A group of three antique cast iron stove parts. I am unsure of the exact function of each. They could be lid lifters. Grate shakers, or something else, but they are all stove related. The first piece measures about 8-1/4" long and is marked"140" on the top of the handle. There are some casting marks on the underside of the handle as well. But they are difficult to read. The second piece m easures about 8" long. Has a casting mark on the underside of"B63" and is nickel plated. The third piece m easures about 11-1/2" long and has no casting marks or other identifiers. And is also nickel plated. The parts are used. But in good condition. The plated items do show some plating wear and minor rusting. The pictures show the condition of the items. Not broken but shows evidence of use. 2) is a lifter with the name Peninsular Stove Co. Embossed the full length of the handle. Back is marked: B 54. Measures 9 1/4 inches in length. Not broken but some of the surface finish is worn on end where it would be grasped. 3) is the wall placque for a Peninsular Furnace. Would have held the chains that controlled the draft& flue. Each is marked with the company name around the center but they are difficult to read. The center measures approx 2 3/4' and have a lower hole opening of approximately 1" Center to center to each of the wheels is approx 4 5/8'This measurements was taken on the top of the caster.The wheel bolt that mounts the wheel to the actuall caster center to center measured at the wheels is 5 3/8' They work great. All of the wheels move freely. They do have some oil on the bearings. They are in good used condition. However there is a rusty patina and signs of age and wear. Please view pictures for details. Antique 3 Burner Superb Cast Iron Camping Stove (Refurbished)
Bought this at an auction and it was in rough shape. Had some cracks in the frame work and was rusty looking. Fixed the cracks and Clean it up. All the valves are working.
