Mostly cast iron with a tin chimney that has a nice ... morenickel-plated cast iron frame for the mica window. This frame is embossed"The Brightest And Best" I see no other marker's mark. I took the first set of photos outside in natural light and frigid temperatures(6 degrees) When I came inside I realized 30 seconds with super fine steel wool would clean the nickel plating easily. So the photos taken inside are what it looks like now. With just a little cleaning. I leave the decision of whether or not to continue cleaning to the new owner. Much of the original black paint remains on the cast iron pieces. There is surface rust where it is missing. I see no sign that the tin chimney was ever painted. The mica window is badly cracked as shown. I plan to put a cloth inside for shipping. With bubble wrap around the pieces. Wick turner moves as it should and the wick extends well into the bottom of the tank. Tank is clean inside. I see no cracks or chips so I see no reason why this wouldn't work with some kerosene. I believe the fuel cap to be original- neither it or the filler neck is threaded. Please enlarge my photos for a close look. Ask any questions before bidding. Depending on where you live, I can often ship via faster priority mail for the same cost. I do this whenever possible.

Antique KKC #2 Clothing Coal Iron
Up for sale is a; VERY OLD CAST IRON CLOTHING IRON. This antique iron would have been used to iron the clothing back in the day before the solid cast irons came in play. This you would puthot coals from the stove into it to heat it up. There is a locking latch with the wooden handle on the top front for opening and closing after you have transfered the hot coals. The large handle is where one would hold onto while ironing. There is a bolt and nut missing from the back of the handle that holds it to the iron. It also is with a very good orginal handle. On the back lower end is a damper hole in which you controled the heat by clocing or opening it up wider. This part is tight, but could be loosened. On the inside bottom is molded into it is KKC#2. Antique Wedgewood Green and White Porcelain Accessory Door # 2
Here is my other Wedgewood porcelain oven door that is green and white or cream in color and is 8" tall x 7 1/4" wide x 1" deep plus the attaching arms. One of the attaching arms on the lower left bottom has broke off but a small weld could fix this up easily. There is not a lot of porcelain loss to this door with most of the loss confined to the handle and the lower right bottom corner. See the pictures for condition of porcelain. This door weighs a little more than 3 lbs. 6 oz. And would ship in a 12 x 12 x 6 inch box well wrapped. My other Wedgewood door is green and white also and from the same oven as this one and is 8 1/4" wide x 7" tall and 1" deep plus the wings on the sides which are triangular in shape at 1/4" at the top by 2" at the bottom. it weighs about 5 1/2 lbs. 2 Original Antique Cast Iron Majestic Wood Burning Stove Shelves With Brackets I have to tell you about the auction that I went to this week. It was in Geneva Illinois. In a sandstone building that was built before the Civil War. The sale was the final liquidation of an antique store(they‘d had one previous auction- so much stuff, they had to have two) that used to operate out of this location- but the building has been closed, as well as the business, for over 20 years following the passing of the previous owners. Now, we’re talking two stories, an attic and a basement PACKED with antiques- it’s hard to imagine, and all of it just sitting for two decades. These folks had amassed a huge antique collection- many many items dating back to the early 1800s and before. There’s some gorgeous pieces of primitive Americana that I found. I can’t tell ... moreyou how excited I am to be listing my treasures from the sale. I will be listing them for weeks to come. I also have the last of my farm auctions and South Dakota finds listed this week, so there’s something for everyone! I have to apologize for my hard to figure out photos of these two old stove shelves. All 4 pieces are wired together in order to keep from separating. And I couldn't unwind them without a pair of gloves or at least a tinsnip! What I have(whether or not you could tell! is a pair of original Majestic brand wood stove shelves. Dating to the late 1800s, early 1900s, both of these shelves would have been mounted inside of the brackets that you see with them on the back wall of the stove. The brackets would have been at the base of the shelves, and the shelves folded up flush against the back of the stove for when not in use. You can see that each shelf has a pin on either side that fits into the openings on the brakcets. The brackets then each have two holes for mounting on the wall of the stove. This auction is for a cast iron kerosene sad iron heater. It has 2 burners. On the front it says. Union. On the top of the fuel tank it says, Gardner, Mass, USA& C.O. G. S. Co. In front middle of the burners it says 2-CR and on the left it says 20 and on the right it says UL. Then on top of the burner in the front. It says 19-Ul(I think) These types of stoves were available starting in the 1880s. One advantage was you didn’t have to heat your big stove and heat up the whole house. When you iron with a sad iron you use a hot one while another is heating up. The front of each unit has a mica window to see the flame. They slide sideways. There are wicks in the burners although they do not turn. I assume they need cleaning with penetrating oil because they haven’t been used in a long time. I can't date them but my best guess is early 1900s judging by the content of it. VTG ORNATE CI 9-1/2" COOK STOVE EYE / LID LIFTER ~ ANTIQUE WOOD COAL WRENCH TOOL
Offered is a cast iron stove eye lifter and shaker wrench tool. These were used to lift the eyes. Or lids on old cook and heating stoves. This piece is unmarked so I am unable to connect it with a particular maker or era. It has fairly ornate decoration indicating that it may have belonged to a fancier parlor stove. It is obviously an older piece. The lifter is about 9-1/2 inches long and weighs nearly 8 ounces. I can't find the slightest damage beyond light use marks and some surface roughness. Likely from the original casting. The end of lifting lug is about 3/4 by 5/8 by 1/8 inches, and is thumbnail-shaped. These can sometimes be ground a bit to fit a particular eye. What I'm calling a shaker wrench on the opposite end may is a sort of lugged affair. I'm not sure exactly how it works. Scratches& scrapes. one of the legs has been repaired but still screws on with screw and square nut.see photo) the stove measures 27.3/4" tall to top of stove pipe outlet. the top is 17.1/2" x 22.1/4" at base of feet it is 17.1/4" x 18.1/4. 15" diameter at widest part of pot. 8.1/4" diameter eyes. local pick up or can meet within 200 mi. of 29550 for a small fee. payment pay pal due 48 hrs. after purchase. will run freight rates if asked.
