VINTAGE 1913 PERFECTION SMOKELESS OIL # 140 C KEROSENE HEATER PARLOR STOVE 140-C
You are bidding on a vintage PERFECTION SMOKELESS OIL HEATER. It is model# 140-C(Which I believe to be from 1913) This is in working order and is really cool! This smokeless heater is in vintage condition. And there is some surface rust from over the years. I love the look as is. However, from my reasearch I have seen these beautifully redone, but I thought it was best to let the restoration up to the new owner. It measures 23.5 inches tall x 16.75 inches at the furthest distance between the legs. The vents all seem to work well. And the heater opens and closes nicely. The oil tank is really cool as well, being made out of either brass or copper! It may need a wick in the near future, but the heater lights up nicely(as can be seen in the pictures) And yes, I emptied out all the oil afterwards in order to avoid a huge mess in the mailing process. ... moreEnjoy. Offered for your consideration is an Antique Perfection Smokeless Kerosene Oil Heater No. 130. Patented May 23, 1913. This antique heater is 24” tall. The chrome/stainless steel trim has surface corrosion and can be restored to its beauty when it was new 100 years ago. The patent date is May 23. 1913. The kerosene oil tank has the fuel gauge that shows how much fuel remains in the tank. I have not tested that to see if it is functioning. There is a wick although I don’t know if it is still usable. Antique Vintage Blue Perfection Kerosene Oil Heater Pat'd 1913 No. 630 Up for your viewing is a blue perfection Smokeless kerosene oil heater made in the U.S.A. It is patd june 17. 1913. It is no. 630. It has some surface rust. It measures 24" tall and 17" at the base. It appears to be in original condition. A lot of times you find these stoves and they have replacement parts or have been painted over to cover up the surface rust. It was purchased from an estate and I believe it is from the original owner. It needs a good cleaning so some of the spots on the outside are dirt. There are NO areas where the rust has gone through. It was stored for a long time but is in excellent condition for its age. If you have any questions or require additional photos please ask. The enamel and metal have signs of age and use, the front, silver mesh grille has some indentations, and there is no drip pan. The lattice work is intact. The top air flow adjuster slides back and forth easily. The release latch to enter the bottom compartment opens easily, and the kerosene holder itself is intact, though rusted. I was unable to open the fill plug due to it's being rusted closed, but perhaps a handy person could open it. The spring for the kerosene gauge works fine, and even the chain attached to the bail handle is present. The heater's main handle works.
