12 Crystal & Silverplate Coasters; 3 Four Piece Sets W&S Blackinton Italy; Boxes
We are selling 3 boxes of crystal and silverplate banded coasters or ash trays. Manufactured by W&S Blackington Company. The box lids are marked“ Italy” on the inside. Each box contains a set of 4. So the total for sale here is 12 coasters or ash trays. The coasters are 4 inches wide on the outside and 3 inches wide on the inside and each is marked: W&S Blackinton Silverplate” The boxes themselves show some shelf and use wear. There were remnants of the original plastic over the coasters; however. This was torn so we removed it. We removed the light tarnish on the coasters with a polishing cloth. The coasters are in excellent condition, and show little sign of use. Please see the photos which augment our description. Handled in Boston, MA- the rim is silverplate and the crystal has a large cut daisy flower that is centered; they are 4 inches in diameter and stand about 1/2 inch tall. These are excellent quality silverplate and crystal. Each coaster is marked with"Silverplated Italy" Still in the original box which shows wear from being stored for so long- they still have the shrink wrap covering and appear to never have been used. Leonard Crystal& Silver Coasters/Ash Tray made in Italy(N.4758/1) Measure approximately 4" in their original boxes. One set is still sealed. And the other set had half the shrink wrap removed so it will need polishing, but otherwise they are all in terrific shape! Two sets of four coasters. Auctiontron We accept PayPal(credit cards. There are no cracks or scratches and the tarnish has been cleaned off. One has a very small rust spot.
