Superb Quality James Dixon Silver Plated Roll Top Breakfast Dish. Decorative engraved letter on the top. Looks like V. See picture 4. This beautiful dish is in excellent condition. Comes complete with both original liners. The plain liner does have some useage marks. There is no damage or plate loss. But I think that the original lifting knop has been replaced at some time with a Bakelite one. Measures approx. 13 inches handle to handle by 7 inches and stands approx.8 inches tall on nicely shaped ornate legs. Full makers stamp.

Silver Plated Hand Engraved Victorian TEAPOT & SUGAR BOWL by James Dixon: Superb
Description this is an extremely nice quality silver plated teapot with a scrolled handle which has a thumb stop and two ebony insulators. The ribbed hinged lid has a screw-on ebony knob, the interior is tannin stained as to be expected, the base is somewhat misshapen causing it to rock, the matching twin handled sugar bowl just needs a little clean, despite the foregoing this is still worthy of consideration given it's great age and provenance so in our opinion, and opinion is subjective, there are no major issues, other than aforementioned, as there are no dents or repairs, just normal surface scratches dings dimples and blemishes commensurate with age and use, but please look at photos to make up your own mind: teapot: height: 6½"16.5 overall length: 11"28cms width: 4¾"12cms sugar bowl: height: 5¼"13.3cms ... morelength: 8"20.3cms width: 4"10cms We give this description to the best of our ability. A beautiful small antique silver plated bon Bon dish by James Dixon. It is in a lovely antique condition and has no plate loss it does have a tiny mark in the bowl and some tarnishing and slight marks of use. In all a lovely dish. It is stamped underneath.

MEASURING 16CMS FROM BASE TO RIM x 14CMS RIM DIAMETER x 16CMS BASE DIAMETER, THE BASE OF THE ITEM STAMPED FOR JAMES DIXON, SHEFFIELD THE WINE COASTER HAS STEPPED BASE. PLAIN BODY, THE RIM HAVING GEOMETRIC FAN MOTIFS- THE WINE COASTER HAS ANGULAR HANDLE TO EACH SIDE THE WINE COASTER IS IN REASONABLE CONDITION- THERE IS FINE SCRATCHING. LOVELY ANTIQUE JAMES DIXON SILVER PLATED DISH
A lovely JAMES DIXON antique silver plated butter or preserve dish. It is in a good used condition and has a lovely charm about, it stands on four balled feet and has a lovely waved edge it has no real plate loss but it does have some tiny marks on the inside of the dish and there is a few chips in the glass it is a diamond shape and not square, it comes with a antique spoon which is in good condition.
