This footed bowl measures about 11" across the rim and about 3 1/2" deep. The lid is about 8 7/8" across with a pretty plume finial and etched or engraved design on top with leafy scrolls. Thanksgiving is around the corner and this would be a beautiful addition to your meal display. Measures 14" wide x 7.75" high. This serving dish was found in a deceased relatives belongings. Wrapped up well and stored in an air-tight container. All of their silver pieces were superbly cared for, this one was no exception. There are no dings or scratches or worn-through silverplate. The Pyrex insert has a few small scratches on the underside of the bowl, but none on the inside(it almost appears unused) There is some very slight tarnishing on the ornate handles and lid but should buff right out. The following is up for auction without reserve WM Rogers Silverplate Covered 1.5 Quart Casserole Serving Dish with Pyrex Glass Insert. Marked on the bottom WM Rogers 86 with a star and an Eagle. There is an inspector sticker next to the numbers 86 so there could be another number after the 86. This vintage silverplate dish measures 10" diameter x 7" tall. Weighs 3 ¼ pounds. This dish is in great condition with no real signs of wear or tarnish. It is very clean inside& mirror like finish outside. Piece comes with a Pyrex glass insert which has no chips or cracks.
