Very unique rare piece. This would make a great decorative piece for any nostalgic environment. Believe from 1920s-30's after doing some research. However.Could be older. Very Good condition considering age. Measures 28x19x9" Inside removable Storage compartment measures 18" x 10" x 3.5" The corner pieces appear to be brass and have minimal tarnishing. Has a bit of discoloration on the one panel that you snap close on one side of the interior. Snaps and fasteners all work and sides hinges corners and overall structure seem to be in very good condition. Please see all pictures for minor scuffs and signs of wear and age. In very solid well preserved condition. I believe this trunk to be very early Albert Rosenhain original production. Berlin. Germany early 1900's possibly late 1800's. Beautiful. 31" x 19" x 13" some small scuffing, small bend to brass corner(as seen in pic) still very solid durable brass corner. Every aspect of construction on the piece is still in durable well preserved condition, just minor signs of use. some cracking in paper and liner material on inside of trunk, still very durable. Could this have belonged to the famous singer James brown? The case has a lot of wear and some damage. There are scuffs, wear to the leather, the handle has damage and the inside has stains and mold. Measuring in at about 14" x 9" x 7.6" tall(with handle down) I personally love the condition of this piece! The leather trim is aged/ stained and missing a piece here and there. From the attic to eBay. This small suitcase or make up case measures 14" x 9" x 4 1/2" and is made of some sort of heavy composite paper material-I think- that looks like wicker or basket weave. Incredible and very rare early 1900s hornback crocodile/alligator full size suitcase. It measures: 29.5" L x 9" W x 18" T and is very heavy weighing 22LB! the inside has some stains and the leather straps are quite worn. The outside skin has general age related wear. when closing it fits inside 3 brass clips which can be very tricky to line up as its heavy and stiff but once closed it locks pretty easily. overall its in very good antique condition and presents beautifully. Due to its age. Size and weight, I would say its much more suited for display than use. Truly a remarkable piece!

Exquisite. Unique, rare and a magnificent antique thick leather suitcase inside and out. The 9" handle is thick, one of a kind, and in immaculate condition. The brass lock and closures are in beautiful condition and marked"Eagle Rock" look at pictures) After searching many hours on the craftsmanship of antique suitcases and pictures of antique suitcases I can say this suitcase is over 100 years old. With age it is a rich lush patina, the varied deep colors and all it's wonderful marks. The one side of the suitcase has those black marks which is not at all indented in the leather, they are just marks but I did not try to remove them as all the marks give you a story of what that sweet suitcase endured. The corners is so thick and piece of art. The inside has a softer leather and I think it is"eel" leather. The suitcase smells like wonderful leather. This old suitcase was given to my wife 12 years ago by an 85 year old woman friend of hers. It is in"pretty decent" condition(no rips or tares) but looks old. It has the two perfume bottles. Mirror, hairbrush and comb, all in excellent condition. Approximate dimensions are 12" deep, 18" wide and 6" tall. There's also an old potpourri sack. The inside is in very good condition for the age. Very good shape overall for its age. Also has two working keys for the lock, and the leather handle is in good shape. Antique Vintage Round Black Leather/Vinyl Suitcase Hat Box Train Case with Key
This is a beautiful early 1900’s antique round black Leather/Vinyl Suitcase Hat Box Train Case. This piece has been around. It does show some wear. The surface has some scuffs and scrapes and on one side it looks a sticker has been removed. The body and handle are very solid. The hardware is all original including the Excelsior lock which still works and has the key. One pin has been replaced on the upper part of the lock. The repair shows on the inside of the lid. The liner is in good condition with some stains. The elastic in the upper pouch is still very tight. One of the leather straps to keep the lid from falling back when open is broken but the other is still in very good shape. The Dimensions are 17 1/2" x 16" x 8 3/4" Please look at the pictures. With some marks to the leather exterior. Overall leather is still in supple condition appropriate for collecting or any display. Do not have the lock combination for this. This must have been a wonderful suitcase in its day- outside still in good condition. But once you open it you go yuk. THIS IS A NEAT OLD DOLL ITEM OR POSSIBLY SALESMAN SAMPLE. TRAVELLING TRUNK CASE. VERY PRIMITIVE LOOKING. MEASURES ABOUT 9 X 5 X 4" LEATHER CARRY HANDLE AND LEATHER CORNERS ON TOP. IT APPEARS TO BE MADE OUT OF A HEAVY CARDBOARD AND COVERED IN A BURLAP MATERIAL AND LINED WITH A CHEESE CLOTH. This piece shows lots of character and would make an excellent display piece for both commercial and residential settings. Made in USA: Stamford. Connecticut Measurements: 27.5" wide 16.5" length 9" deep when not expanded- expands to 11" deep This piece is missing the outer strap on the right and side and shows obvious signs of age/ wear. Again this IMO gives it such a lovely character. Floral lining is in good shape with no tears.
