This case is in incredible condition. It looks as if it has never traveled, especially the interior, see the pics of this spotless case. From the brass corners to the leather edging to the brass closures, this case is beautiful. These 3 marble white faux leather on wood Samsonite Streamlite suitcases and trunk are in great shape from the 1950's and 1960’s! RARE TRUNK! These trunks are very hard to find. THrough research I have found that a lot of these were just made for display and very few were made. The largest trunk measures roughly 30L" x 16W" x 12.5H” The carry-on/wardrobe measures roughly 21L" x 9W" x 19H” The smaller train/make-up case measures close to 13L" x 8.5W" x 9H" You can see from the pics the color of the exterior and interiors as well as the various pouches and straps. These are all Samsonite and there is a key for the entire set. These cases could be used for a number of things besides luggage. A very popular use is for camera equipment or speciality tools. By installing foam packaging and cutting it to fit ... moreyour camera or tools is a stylish and less expensive way to protect and transport. These type of cases can also be used for decor such as end tables. Shipping includes insurance and a delivery confirmation. Delivery confirmation is not a tracking number. It is there to prove delivery. I usually ship suitcases by wrapping in shipping paper and taping. This cuts costs by not using boxes. These cases are sold as is. This auction features a lot of two vintage stacking/nesting suitcases in earth-tone colors of beige. Golden tan, brown, and sienna. Wonderful for stacking, storage, photography props, stage set use, etc. While these are not a set(different brands) their coloring is complimentary. They appear to be canvas and each has leather trim. The leather handles seem to be securely fastened. Both have a very distressed appearance, the smaller one with more condition issues. These 2 marble white faux leather on wood Samsonite Streamlite suitcases are in great shape from the 1950's and 1960’s! The carry-on/wardrobe measures roughly 21L" x 9W" x 19H” The smaller train/make-up case measures close to 13L" x 8.5W" x 9H" You can see from the pics the color of the exterior and interiors as well as the various pouches and straps. These are all Samsonite and there is a key for the entire set. These cases could be used for a number of things besides luggage. A very popular use is for camera equipment or speciality tools. By installing foam packaging and cutting it to fit your camera or tools is a stylish and less expensive way to protect and transport. It is 12.5"x37"x21" Made of a thick resin board that is riveted and has unique metal corner caps and metal support brackets. The leather handles on both ends are damage one is missing. You are bidding on/ buying an ANTIQUE 1920s GENUINE COWHIDE LEATHER STEAMER TRUNK. I come across quite a few suitcases. I have yet to see one in as good a shape. And as unique a design as this one. It is the size of a small suitcase. But shaped like a trunk. It measures 24 inches across the front 13 1/2 inches deep, and 10 inches tall. It has steamer style straps. Silver accent hardware, all original. It almost has a walrus or elephant texture to the hide of the material. You can see the patterning up close in photo 12. The top part of this piece expands up about 3 inches if you fill it to do so. If not it sits flat. Photos 8& 11. There are 2 straps around the case. In great condition. On the front of the case there is a lock latch, and 2 securing latches. All 3 in good order. Inside looks good. All the straps there are in great shape ... moretoo. Up for bid is an interesting vintage estate trunk. Is wood with black fiber exterior. Decorative brass corner hardware, double latch opening, black Bakelite handle, four hard plastic feet on bottom in closed horizontal position and four metal feet on bottom in closed vertical position. Exterior has some parting at the seams and shows signs of wear equal to use and age. The interior is open with exposed wood bottom and the number 7 in black(perhaps original cloth is missing) and black plastic covering opposite with elastic band for securing something in place. Vintage Suitcase w/ Cunard White Star Line Athenia Stickers This trunk is well worn but has a neat history of being taken on the Cunard White Star Athenia ship two yeas before it was sunk. The ship was in service from 1922 to 1939 until Sept. 3. When it was torpedoed and sunk by German sub. U-30 off Inishtrahull. The stickers on this particular case are from May 28th 1937 from Montreal to Liverpool, another from August 6th, likely when the person returned. It also has a mostly-torn-off Cunard Baggage sticker, one for Anchor-Donaldson and one for Hotel Excelsior. I don't see any brand identification to the case. It's made of wood. Though I'm unsure what kind. The interior shows some signs of wear as pictured, but to be expected from something almost 80 years old and used to travel with. A cool piece of travel history!

Very rare to have the key along with the case! The trunk does have some wear throughout but overall is in wonderful vintage condition. The canvas shows wear mostly on the sides and a bit on the top of the case. The rivets all say Louis Vuitton. Corners on top were painted with yellow. Along with initials G.C.C. on each end. You are bidding on a beautiful 1900's Samson suitcase. Trunk by the Shwayder Brothers.This is pre-Samsonite. The case is hard shelled cover in Black leather with corner guards, two leather straps at run all the way around the case. There are 3 latches two on the outside that are marked Shwayder and the lock latch is marked as well it looks to say Shwayder as well. All latches are in good working order, however, I do not have the key to the lock. The inside as a mauve pattern paper covering with two leather straps on the top and bottom. There is also a divider that the straps run through. This case does show some wear but very little for its year. Up for sale is an old rounded black and brown suitcase. It is 18" wide. 17" tall and 9" deep. It has a handle on the top and a snap lock, with other hinges on the sides. I do not have a key to actually lock the case, but you can open and close the snap closure. The inside is a blue pattern cloth and it does have some stains. The outside has some scratches and dings, and the brown trim is a little rough. It is still structurally sound and has a great look.
