Vintage 1940's- 50's Red Leather Storage Trunk with nailhead trim. Just off the old homestead and ready to come home to you! Trunk measures 24" wide, 19" high, and 17" deep. Fantastic condition- only a couple of minor wear marks. This trunk's insides look like they came off of the showroom floor- amazing for how old the piece is. The homestead was in the family for 100 years and this is just one of the jewels that have been unearthed- claim it while you can. Lovely. Vintage, Late 1940's or early 1950's, Lane Cedar Hope Chest. Chest measures approximately 47-1/4" wide, 22-3/4" tall and 18-1/2" in depth. The Chest is in the Art Deco Style. There is a top self which is divided in two parts with original green felt liner. The chest has the original paperwork included. The locks were repaired with a safety lock in September, 2013. New key and instruction sheet included. The underside of the chest has style number 2231, and serial# 846230. The inside of the chest is in good condition. The outside of the chest shows signs of age and has some scratches and wear, from being relocated a few times, but is in good condition for its age. The three rear hinges open and close well. Vintage 1940 Louis Vuitton Wardrobe Steamer Trunk
This old trunk is a beautiful example of the Louis Vuitton monogram pattern trunks made since 1896 in Paris. A real classic! This is a wardrobe style trunk that was designed to hold hanging clothes. When stood upright and opened in the center this would be like a personal closet and the clothes rod pulls out to allow easy access to the hanging clothes. This trunk has the original marked wood hangers. The exterior LV monogrammed covering is in excellent condition with only minimal signs of wear.Even the large leather handle is in good condition. This was a high-grade trunk with all brass hardware. Including many brass rivets all marked with the Louis Vuitton name. The demensions of the trunk are 36 x 22 x 12.

Had the trunk appraised at $3000. Did research and think the Colonel B.A. Reeve was in WW11 and Korean wars. There is a tag on the side that is an agency and has his flight from New York to Maxwell AFB. What I can read from the tags date is 1951. Rust and has a dented corner. Latches work great. Missing insert and leather handles or broken. All original the way it was when I found it. I am very honored to have own it.

Lane cedar chest with a nice hand rubbed polish to bring out the beauty of the veneer. This cedar chest was made mid to late 40's and has a waterfall front and decorative trim. Overall measurements are 44" wide. 18" deep, 21 1/2" high and a weight of 63 lbs. The original lock has been removed and and been replaced with a new safety lock. Shipping can be arranged.

Suite case is in good condition. It has some normal scrapes and scuffs. The worst one is on the bottom next to the feet. The locks work fine and the inside is in good condition. It does have a slight odor inside. The leather handle has some wear.

Suitcase Vintage Oshkosh Minnetonka 1940's Repro Labels Hedy Lamarr Leather Trim
For your consideration. This wonderful vintage Minnetonka by Oshkosh hard case suitcase is covered in bright vintage reproduced travel labels from around the world, including the Cunard Line, other shipping lines, and hotels from Argentina to Japan. Three of these labels bear Hedy lamar's name and trip details with dates of 1939 and 1938. I had this looked at by the professionals of Profiles in History just outside of Los Angeles to determine this was not actually Hedy Lamar's suitcase. The typewriter font used on the various labels over different times is exactly the same, which is impossible. This might have been a display item and possibly a prop from a movie. I acquired this at an old Hollywood house where I'm told stars once gravitated. One name that was dropped was Peter O'Toole. At any rate. It's a great display ... morepiece for storage at home, and certainly can be used as intended too. The inside lining and pockets are in great condition. The elastics are all strong, no tears or stains or smells. The case measures 21" X 14" X 6.75" The clasps are strong and hold tight. No keys. This is leather-trimmed with a leather handle, all in very good condition. Overall, it looks aged, because it is! This is 1940's terrific! I offer combined shipping in my Ebay store Throngandpageant.
