Up for sale is this beautiful antique dome top steamer trunk with ornate embossed metal and a working key. It measures 32" long by 18" wide and 21" tall. The exterior of this trunk was cleaned. The wood slats sanded, stained with minwax"golden oak" then the entire trunk was sealed with spar urethane. The interior lining was removed then the wood was sanded and stained with minwax"golden oak" as well. This trunk shows some wear from age and has some minor flaws i.e. one of the hinges is broke(does not effect the stability, very functional) overall the trunk is in very good condition. This is a vintage piece of luggage that is in used but good condition. It is an extremely rare find and rarer to find in this condition and with key. It is blue slim steamer trunk with blue leather trim and leather handles. The trunk opens up and locks in place to allow for clothes to hang from the hangers. The bottom area has dividers and ribbon ties to secure your items. Both sections have a cloth cover. The bottom has snaps to secure it to the bottom of one of the dividers. This trunk is absolutely adorable. It would make a great display piece, end table, or would make ideal storage. It is also quite usable but it is old so I would handle with some care. VTG Antique Old FANCY Cast Metal Chest Steamer Trunk Lock Latch Hardware Parts
This is a really neat heavy cast metal lock/latch which I believe came off a very old steamer trunk of sorts. It's in good used vintage condition with some surface wear and tarnish and I believe a tiny crack by the bottom bolt that you can't see from the front and doesn't seem to affect its use whatsoever.please view pictures for any further description/condition. Antique Vtg Red Cedar Blanket Hope Chest Bedroom Furniture storage CEDAR CHEST
I have up for sale a very nice vintage original circa 1920s- 40s Cedar Chest. The chest is in very clean original condition! It measures approx 45-1/4" long. 20" deep, approx 19-1/2" tall which includes the 1" castor height. The chest is in Excellent Condition- nice clean original finish- strong& sturdy- has a flat top which would be strong enough to sit on- that is unless you are over 300 lbs then I would not advise it. Some normal light age wear as one would expect. The only damage to note is a fairly inconspicuous chip/ slivered off piece- located on the front lower right. Shown up close in pics 10& 12. This is not something that is very noticeable at all, the sliver was done many years back and it has been stained over and the only way you will notice it, is if you look upclose with scrutiny. There is some ... moreslight wear to the metal bands, but its very light- nothing serious. The hinge works perfectly and the little metal elbow for holding the top up, when opened,works just fine. I do not have the key for the lock and not sure if the lock works. One of a kind, possibly made, just for someone special, since can not find another one like it at all. is the vintage/antique WOODEN Legal ABC File BOX, as seen in the pictures/ as described in the title. Made of a lightweight/low density variety of wood(pine or oak, perhaps? and wrapped in tooled leather with a great texture. Interior of lid is lined with red felt/velvet. Latches and hinges are steel and are in perfect working order. Latches snap shut with authority(like-new) and are marked"EAGLE LOCK CO" arched over"MADE IN U.S.A. and"TERRYVILLE, CONN" arched under. Has an amazing depiction of the original painting"Full Cry" on the cover, and the inside all of the ABC tabs are still in perfect order. Small Antique Dome Hunchback Wood Trunk Doll Child's 18 x 12 x 10.5 Inches VTG
This trunk is probably 100 years old. It looks a little redder in the photos than it really is. It still has a lot of the the original tin hardware and paper lining inside. It looks like there once was a tray that fit into the top. But it is missing. Also, the handles on each side are missing. In addition. There is a strip of wood trim on the front right that is missing(see 8 th photo) The trunk holds together nicely. The 7th photo shows where the boards do not completely meet on the bottom. This trunk could be beautifully restore(or used as is) It is a nice tabletop size that can work in many places. Unlike the large trunks. I'm happy to take more photos.

You are bidding on/ buying an ANTIQUE 1920s GENUINE COWHIDE LEATHER STEAMER TRUNK. I come across quite a few suitcases. I have yet to see one in as good a shape. And as unique a design as this one. It is the size of a small suitcase. But shaped like a trunk. It measures 24 inches across the front 13 1/2 inches deep, and 10 inches tall. It has steamer style straps. Silver accent hardware, all original. It almost has a walrus or elephant texture to the hide of the material. You can see the patterning up close in photo 12. The top part of this piece expands up about 3 inches if you fill it to do so. If not it sits flat. Photos 8& 11. There are 2 straps around the case. In great condition. On the front of the case there is a lock latch, and 2 securing latches. All 3 in good order. Inside looks good. All the straps there are in great shape ... moretoo. 1937 DEPRESSION ERA ANTIQUE VTG BELBER STEAMER TRAVEL TRUNK CHEST This is a trunk by Belber Trunk& Bag Co. 1937. Dimensions are 31" L) x 17" W) x 13" H) Former owner's name has been stamped on the trunk lid and on the back of the trunk. The leather handle on one side is cracked and broken. On the other side it is missing. There is no key. There is one piece of metal hardware missing above the lock. There is a removable wood insert that rests in top of trunk. Exterior shows surface marks, scuffs, aged patina from use. Metal hardware has paint wear and some areas of surface rust where paint is worn off. Bottom underside of trunk has several areas where outer surface material is cracked, see pics for condition. Antique Henry Pollack Vtg vulcanized fiber steamer Trunk w/ ALL compartments
I purchased this trunk at a sale in Santa Fe about 4-5 summers ago. This is by far the most remarkable travel steamer trunk I have ever seen. It is entirely covered in what I thought was leather but 2 separate specialist have let me know it's actually vulcanized fiber. Sure looks like leather to me though. Instead of the usual wooden"straps" across the sides and top. This trunk has beige leather straps crossing the top and sides. The bottom does have the wood approx. 2" wide straps on the bottom. These tan leather on the top, front and sides are affixed with hundreds of brass round head tacks. The skin leather is a rich brown. It is thick and slightly weathered with a few cracks in the"leather" but I have kept it oiled and soft. The inside is equally as remarkable with 2 removable compartments. Both compartments ... morehave everything with them they came with. the top compartment has 3 leather straps with snaps that keep it shut. It can be opened by folding the lid back once or twice. The snaps read Polly Brand on them making them the original snaps. It also is complete with brass handles on the sides. Both compartments along with the entire interior has the original linen striped covering. The second compartment is complete as well with original linen ties. 4 brackets to keep it resting on both sides.everything is there. The woman I bought this from said a relative owned it during the war but I don't remember if she told me which war or I just never asked. In any case. I don't know. There are minor imperfections with this trunk, all of which I've noted but the leather skin, the leather straps, the brass tacks, the compartments.make this trunk Wonderful and Rare. There is surface wear that makes for a nice patina. Clasps work great. Center lock does not work. Inside is stained and beginning to peel, however is all original. It is monogrammed in red with the initials of the only owner. The leather hnadles are very worn and the brass-tone trim has corrosion. There is a train travel sticker on the front and a last train travel label on the handle dated 1955. It has storage stains inside, including brown spots and white spots, and the fabric is worn. Up for your consideration is this wonderful vintage train case made by Warren out of Worcester. MA. This is the perfect cherry for a stack of vintage suitcases or trunks and makes great storage! Measuring in at about 14" x 9" x 7.6" tall(with handle down) I personally love the condition of this piece! The leather trim is aged/ stained and missing a piece here and there. Rare Large Antique 1900s Hornback Crocodile Alligator Leather Suitcase Trunk VTG
Incredible and very rare early 1900s hornback crocodile/alligator full size suitcase. It measures: 29.5" L x 9" W x 18" T and is very heavy weighing 22LB! the inside has some stains and the leather straps are quite worn. The outside skin has general age related wear. when closing it fits inside 3 brass clips which can be very tricky to line up as its heavy and stiff but once closed it locks pretty easily. overall its in very good antique condition and presents beautifully. Due to its age. Size and weight, I would say its much more suited for display than use. Truly a remarkable piece!

Nice antique cowhide leather suitcase measuring 26" X 13" X 7.5" This piece is in pretty decent shape for its age with a great patina on the leather. Perfect designer piece. And you can snap the lock in the middle shut and open it without a key(no key is included) Handle is in nice shape as well as the hinges for opening and closing.
