It has four dove tail drawer going down the left-hand side and four going down the right-hand side. The center drawer has round dove tail as expected from the Eastlake era. It has burl walnut trim on the fronts with an ogee bevel edge around the routed top. It has a black felt interior on the writing surface that is nice. The finish on the sides is amazing. The desk comes with four raised panel dove tail drawers that retain all the original hardware. The center where the legs go have a reverse cove carving, which I have never seen in oak. It has a scallop bottom trim base, raised panels all the way around and a wide bevel edge on the solid tiger sawn oak top. The only negatives I see on the desk is that there is a little wear on the edge of the top from rubbing against something and there is a split going down the center of the top. We most likely could pull the top off and repair the top, which wouldn’t make a huge difference, but it is an expensive repair. The desk itself is high end quality.

Awesome vintage find. Beautiful old trunk that can be used as is it for restoration. In its current condition could be a great coffee table. Has a tray an one new hinge so that the top works and the latches close properly also. Handles are missing, and as stated can be replaced but I love the character as is. Shows wear from age but is in good condition, brass parts have a nice patina but again are in sturdy shape. It is 36 wide, 21 deep and 23 tall. VINTAGE TRUNK, WOOD SLATS, LABELS,.FLAT TOP, Original, Nice Size, TABLE/STORAGE
Offered is an early 1900 Trunk which measurers 13 inches high. 36 inches wide and 22 inches deep. It has a center lock labeled"Eagle Lock Co. 178, Terryville, Conn. U.S. which is slightly bent. No key. There are two leather straps originally with the trunk which are not complete. The side handle leather grips are in good condition. The wood slats appear to be oak type of wood, but not positive. The interior is original with no restoration, lid lock needs reattachment, and the truck interior is wooden construction with an extra metal base evident from the outside base. A rare and wonderful trunk in deep navy blue with orange stripes and initials. The stripe and initials were custom painted so the owners could quickly identify their trunk. In excellent condition this trunk has everything from original travel stickers to all original inserts. Leather and brass trim. The only thing missing is the key. The trunk probably dates to the earlier part of the twentieth century. The trunk is very heavy and large mostly likely made of laminated wood. It is 25 inches across the front and back surfaces and 22 inches tall and 22 inches deep. A brass plaque on the top corner proclaims it was made for Lord& Taylor. This is a very cool trunk from our family estate. Just acquired, I do not know how we got it, but has a lot of history all over it. It is stamped the De Paul University Choir, Greencastle, Indiana on the top of it. It has a persons, name and address from England, date 1956. Cunard line, Queen Victoria Ship. From what I research this would have been the first ship. It is not perfect, no key, inside lot of wear and tear and some staining, paper lining pulling away in spots. One sticker is off on the side, just residue is left. Measures 29 long, 15 wide, and 9 1/2 depth. This is really neat with a lot of history, was used for display. I originally though of making a jewelry chest out of it, but thought twice, it's neat the way it is, great conversation piece. Vintage Antique Wooden flat top steamer trunk. It measures more than 34" in length by just over 18" wide and a little more than 21" height and weighs almost 35 lbs. This MidCentury trunk is a stained with dark mahogany stain color and is very sturdy and usable. The Corners are coupled with heavy aluminum edges. and there are typical dings and dents. Scratches and scuffs due to age and use. There is little to no musty smell, at least is not saturated with odor/scent- will spray with Apple Cider vinegar to help neutralize naturally. Not sure of what type of wood- but there are additional carved wood bumpers on outer sides this Shabby Cottage Chic piece~ This trunk is antique and old- and has original small cast-steel wheels. All 4 are present and rolls fine. One hinge that is strong and holds up fine. This old trunk has a leather ... morehandle on right- still usable. left handle is missing and one of the flat top leather straps is split- all others tacked down and seem sturdy enough to use- though you can determine leather condition- Please LOOK at Photos to consider condition. Tons of photos were taken- so if you need to see more- send a message. All the original hardware on this old trunk that it's fairly good working order- center latch does not lock or click closed and one clip closes better than the other. Needs adjustment as desired. This old steamer trunk does have a top tray- It has been lined with old(wallpaper-like) thick paper batting material. The lid to closed compartment of top tray is cracked/crushed a little on the inside/underside of lid. This could be easily repaired. For auction is a large. Vintage Hartmann Trunk from early 20th century. This is a large trunk measuring 36"x25"x22" roughly. The exterior shows its years of use, but remains in quite good condition. The initials"AEM" are painted at each end and the end piece leather handles are in great condition. There are 2 front lateral latches and a center locking latch with 2 keys. The interior looks GREAT! All the canvas is present, though there is some pulling loose at the corners. There is 1 flip-top tray that has 3 leather button closures. It has a small amount of damage on one corner and the material is separating at the flip-top section. This is located above a 2nd open tray that is in nice condition. This vintage trunk has been in storage for quite a few years. It's still functional with the lid still opening and closing. I'm not sure if the lock works. Vintage Flat-top Small 20" Steamer Storage Trunk Chest Luggage Leather Handles
This listing is for a rare small vintage flat-top storage/travel trunk. The inside has been clear-coated to seal it and it has no strong or offensive odors. The trunk measures about 11-1/2" tall. 19-3/4" wide and 12" deep. It is still strong and sound, but does show damage from water, including staining. The outside has some scratches and tears from use over the years, including a small one on the bottom corner where the wood is exposed. The outer latches work as they should and sufficiently hold the trunk shut. The center latch closes but does not stay shut. We do not have the key to the lock. The leather handles seem to be in great shape. Cosmetically it has a nice rustic look and is a nice small size for storage or as a decorative piece. Item 20043 is a vintage flat top steamer trunk. The outside of this trunk is a raised floral patterned tin background. It has new leather handles. This is a very nice trunk. One of the latches on the front is missing the top piece. I tried to find one to match on e-bay, but was not able to. The trunk measures 32" x 19.5" x 23" It is very unusual with two compartments in the top and a shelf in the bottom. The inside has been lined with quilt batting and a red toile patterned fabric. The freight on this trunk is a little bit more than usual because the sides of the trunk are 1" wood and the compartments make it weigh more, then there is the fact that UPS charges extra for the large over size box. It does not have any cracks, there is a place on the front where 2 boards come together that looks like a crack but it is not.
