PRETTY MINTON CHINA WORKS TILE WITH PINKS AND HONEYSUCKLE FLOWERS
This is an attractive tile made by the Minton China Works. Stoke on Trent. The pattern is a simple one showing sprigs of honeysuckle and pinks. on a cream ground. The whole effect is a clean modern style pattern. the tile is 6 inches square and is in good condition apart from some overall light crazing. The Minton factory marks are on the back and a printed number 2489. These marks date the tile to the 1890`s.

VICTORIAN `EXOTIC LILIES WITH IVY AND FLOWERS` TILE
This transfer printed Victorian tile has a pattern showing exotic lily flowers surrounded by Ivy and other flowers. It is printed in shades of brown on a cream ground. The tile is 6 inches square and is thicker than usual. There are no makers marks. The back is rough textured and has 4x4 embossed squares. It is in good condition apart from a small chip on the lower right hand side.

PAIR OF STUNNING ANTIQUE 6 INCH PEACOCK TILES SET INTO A WOODEN STAND
This is a very attractive antique wooden stand that has a pair of beautiful 6 inches tiles set into it. The tiles I would say are Victorian and they each have a stunning peacock design. The stand measures 14.5 x 8.5 inches approx and stands on four little turned feet. The tiles are crazed and have some surface wear as you would expect from antique tiles but no major damage as far as I can see. The wooden stand has seen wear and tear with scratches and wear to the varnish but it essentially sound and needs a good clean up. Very nice little stand- please see my other items. Happy to combine postage where possible.

2" Antique MINTON HOLLINS& CO Fireplace Relief Tile 1860-1890 Victorian Moulded This is a lovely little tile from Minton. Hollins& Co. Circa 1860s-1890s. It is a brown relief tile from a fireplace. It features a pretty pinecone-like design. This tile bears an impressed circular insignia on reverse: MINTON, HOLLINS& Co. Inside of the circle is the number 2I2 with EB beneath. There is a P outside the circle on the right bottom corner and a X sign in the lower left corner. In 1845. Herbert Minton took Michael Daintry Hollins into partnership. And the tile-making side of the business became known as Minton Hollins& Co. Herbert Minton's successful experiments in making encaustic tiles during the 1840s( Encaustic tiles are ceramic tiles with a decoration made of different colours of clay inlaid into the surface. They are standard 6 inch tiles. They are tube lined and it is difficult to see but the ground is a deep bottle green with surface iridescence. These are 2 beautifully hand painted ceramic tiles from the Fujimiyaki Tile Works(FM) in Japan. Based on my research they were produced sometime after 1921. There are Japanese characters in the lower left corner of both tiles which measure 6"x 6" The tiles are 3/16" thick. The art work is primarily floral. On the back of the two tiles are: a serial number. The FM logo, and the words" MADE IN JAPAN" These 3 things are much clearer on the tile with the column( They are sold in used condition. Big Lot of 10.500+ Ceramic Tiles in 35 Antique Garden Boxes, Great for Crafts, or Rustic Decorative Home Projects I have more than 10.500 old tiles as pictured. They are grouped into 35 antique garden boxes. Most of the tiles are the solid charcoal/black ones that are pictured on the right side of the close-up pictures. There are also quite a few of the solid salmon/pink color(also to the right in the close-ups) All tiles are approximately 2 inches x 2 inches. You may have to clean them up a bit as they are somewhat dusty from sitting but these should make for great rustic projects of all kinds. For this count(10,500) I did not include any of the partial boxes so there are easily more than 10.5K. I am selling them as is and at No Reserve. Also included are the antique garden boxes that they were stored in. Some of them have been shot with ... moresome newer nails that you may want to remove. In order to restore them to authenticity, but the wood has lots of character, many with rough-sawn marks and varying thicknesses. Why such a great deal? Frankly. This awesome piece came from the estate of a world traveler. And collector of high quality items. This is a rare antique Qajar molded and glazed Iranian tile, in relief. This is by far, the prettiest one I have seen. Young boy on horseback, with his falcon on his arm, and his dog by his side. Stamped on back, and in a speciality made frame, made to accomodate the relief pattern in this tile. Condition very good with something as old as this is. Crack that is not noticeable under horses hind leg, but that is the one one I see, and that is remarkable considering the age of this item. Measures approx. 8.5" by 11" framed. 3 Salt Glazed Antique Brick Pavers
Up for your consideration is a lot of three antique brick pavers. Two are of the Nelsonville Block variety and the other is a Hallwood Block Pat. These bricks came out of a new ally construction in the Old Italian Village in Columbus Ohio. Bricks are in overall decent condition with some chipping around edges and little specs of cement and asphalt spotting. All three are visually appealing and appear to be salt glazed. Antique vintage Rako Czech tile picture 1930's 6 pieces Framed - Vibrant
Up for auction is a vintage 1930's Rako Czech painted tile picture made up of 6 tiles. It is framed and measures approx. 21-1/2" long x 15-1/2" wide including frame. There are two chips that I found on the edge of two tiles which I circled in red with my photo editor. This is a beautiful vibrant picture with eye-catching colors.
