This is a wood framed antique wall mirror with a nice size of 27.5" X 33.5" and is quite heavy. Has waves in the silvering on the back of the mirror as well as an old crackle finish that is in very good condition. Has a number of 1497 stenciled on the back. Vintage Antique Carved Wood Frame Beveled Glass Oval Mirror Pre-Mid Century
This is a beautiful mirror. You are bidding on an antique oval mirror. This has an oak wooden frame with a top crest of hand carved floral. I believe this is early 20th century. The mirror has a 1" bevel completely around the oval. The back is sealed with a 1/4" piece of wood not plywood. The last picture shows one of the dovetail joints in the frame. This frame was made from four separate pieces of oak which were joined together at those dovetails to make the complete frame. I think this is another sign of the age of this mirror. It has two holes through the front of the frame which were probably used for mounting. It also has one eyelet on the back which was also used for mounting. The second eyelet is gone. The winning bidder will have to develop their own mounting. The complete mirror and frame is 18-3/4" tall and 26" ... morewide. Antique mirror has reflected upon many faces and rooms- if only it could talk! Wood frame with rounded top has some wear- chips. Scratches, and a few thin cracks/separations but is overall solid. The mirror itself has lost approximately 50% of its silver backing, which gives it a dark, mysterious look. If you want a mirror in which you can see yourself clearly, this likely will not be your choice. Antique 1870s BLACK FOREST Relief Carved Eagle Top Wood Frame OAK WALL MIRROR
I have up for sale a rare and beautiful vintage circa 1860s- 1880s Black Forest hand carved Hanging Wall Mirror. I believe that the frame is made of Oak- its relief carved with a bird. Possibly an Eagle on top. The bird has a glass eye and the talons are fixed on to a log. It measures approx 26-1/2" measured from the tip of the wing to the bottom of the vertical section of the frame,its approx 17-1/4" wide. The bird itself protrudes outward just over 4" The glass mirror itself measures approx 16-1/4" x 9" The frame is in very nice estate fresh as found condition. I am quite sure that the finish is the old original. Regardless it looks wonderful. It has a nice warm patina and recessed areas have darker coloration. Overall the frame is in Great Condition- other than some wear/small chip to the end tip of the birds beak ... morethe wood is in fantastic shape. Wear is light, the frame was well taken care of. The glass mirror is excellent- no silvering issues- no damages. I see that the bird is attached with 2 screws in the back. When I package it. I will take if off and package it separately. PLEASE HOLD OFF MAKING PAYMENT UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED MY INVOICE. A nice old vintage Wood and Gesso ornate picture mirror frame. It is in good condition with some signs of wear and some losses to the applied decorations. It is marked by the maker with a metal tag on the reverse side for Narcissus Mirrors. This large mirror measures 3 feet 1 inch high and 1 foot 11 inches wide. The inner opening measures 2 feet 6 inches high and 1 foot 6 inches wide. It has a nice look like that of the frames on Maxfield Parrish Prints from the Art Deco Nouveau periods. Antique (19th C?) Wall Mirror w/Intricate Hand-Carved Artisan Figural Wood Frame
My grandparents bought this mirror& frame while antiquing in the Northeast US in the 1940's or 1950's. I would estimate that it's 19th Century. And I recall some talk of it being from a hotel or tavern that was closing down. Carved animal figures at top give an almost rustic look to it. But it has a kind of elegance(the carved'twist' side border and floral center at the top) that make it hard to pin down stylistically. Seems to be one-of-a-kind. As I see nothing like it at all in any Ebay listing, current or completed. Measures 43" high by about 25"at widest point. Dark wood could possibly be a stained cherry. But I'm not sure. The 15" X 27 1/2" beveled-edge mirror itself shows some age. And has a couple of spots that suggest it could me re-silvered or replaced, but there's no damage of ... moreany kind to the frame. Mounts/hanging wire were replaced by my grandfather(see pic) and original holes can be seen on back edge of frame. Ebay has required that I plug-in estimated weight& size. All carved wood top and bottom with dowel spliced joints, see photo#3. Mirror is 19-1/2" at it's widest point and 30" tall. Very heavy with double hanging wire. Antique Victorian Wood Frame Mirror for Dresser or Wash Basin This is an Antique Victorian mirror with wood frame. The overall dimensions are 28 inches tall by 17 1/4 inches wide. The actual mirror measures 23 ¼ inches tall by 13 ¼ inches wide. The mirror is designed for a dresser or washbasin. There is a hole on each side approximately 11 inches from the top to attach and adjust to a dresser or wash basin. I have acquired a nice selection of 19 th and early 20 th century antiques and collectibles from a family estate. See pictures for any scratches or blemishes and email any questions or concerns. Antique Vintage Large Oval Mirror Wood Frame Berry Design Period
This old large oval mirror came from an auction in Vermont. The auctioneer called it"period. The mirror has a wooden frame with a berry design. The frame measures 21 3/4 by 25 3/4 inches. The mirror from the back measures 16 by 20 1/4 inches. The mirror has spots under the glass. See the 4th picture. The frame has some cracks in the first border, some chips, and some use/wear marks. It weights about 7 pounds.

Large 41" Tall Antique Vtg Victorian Style Mirror Wood Frame Gold Paint Period
This large wall mirror came from an auction in Vermont. The auctioneer called it"period. The frame measures 41 3/4" high and 19 1/2" wide. The mirror has some spots under the glass. I have tried showing some of the spots in the 9th picture. There is some gold paint loss. Some chipping, and some wear to the frame, see all pictures. The top right corner has a crack line, see the 10th picture. The mirror weights 10 pounds, 5 ounces.

Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is made of cherry and is currently painted white. It was originally part of a built in armoire. The legs have fluted pilasters with turned columns above and carved corbels at the top The pediment has fish scale moldings. Applied carvings and a carved crown with nice finials. There are ornate brackets at the top of the opening. It measures 43 inches wide. 108 inches tall and is 5.25 inches thick at the pediment. The inside dimensions are 32 by 84. This would make a great door or window molding or you could put a mirror behind for a pier mirror. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. This is an Antique Etched and Beveled Glass Mirror with 3 Shell Rose Buttons. It measures 27" high and 14 7/8" wide and is 1" deep. It is very old as you can see by the back of the mirror photo. It has a wooden frame bronze type guilding which has 4 chips. These can be repaired. See last photo. They are not noticeable when the mirror is hung. I have owned this mirror for over 40 years.

It may have started as a frame.I can see remnants of gilt in a couple of tiny places. Somewhere along the way.someone painted it a very pale green and even further down the line.it was whitewashed. The end result.is this fabulous mirror. The white wash has created a extremely pale almost verdigris look behind the creamy white. The mirror glass has been replaced and is free of any silvering. The frame shows just enough age.with minor SURFACE cracks at the joints. They are very stable and only on the surface) It is in very good solid condition and is a wonderful find! Up for auction a Old. Antique, Decorative, Oval Shaped, Wood Frame, Mirror/ Picture Frame. Measurers 14 1/8 inches by 12 1/8 inches and the frame is a pp. 2 3/8 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches at the thickest. Beaded with 4 nice decorative pieces all look to be wood. No plaster. Looks to be pretty old from the 1800`s. Looks to have the Original greenish paint/ whitewash finish. But I cannot be sure. Has some chips and cracks in places. see pictures) still very solid. Mirror is intact with no breaks or cracks. Found in an old farmhouse in Maine. It is in need of a cleaning but has great Patina in its present condition. You can`t find a frame with Patina like this in a store.
