Vintage Old NOS Ornate Syroco Hollywood Regency Gold Wall Mirror 4411
Being offered for sale. Is a vintage NOS Syroco hollywood regency style, style 4411, gold mirror. It still has the original Syroco Finest Plate Glass sticker on the mirror, and has the original manufacturer tag still attached near the top, although the tag was ripped in half. It is in excellent condition, with very minor wear from being stored over the years, nothing really significant. No chips or cracks as far as I see. The mirror itself measures approximately 19" at its tallest point, and 12 3/4" at its widest. Measured from the outside of the frame, measurements are approximately 31" at its tallest point and 19 1/2" at its widest. What you see in the picture(s) is exactly the item(s) which you'll receive. Vintage Mid Century Hollywood Regency Ornate Scrolled Large Oval Gold Tone Mirror. Large mirror at approx 32.5" tall and 18.5" wide. The beautiful oval mirror is quality at over 1/4" thick. No identifying makers marks but I suspect it is by Syroco. The back had a label identifying it to be from Sears early 1960's. I would call this Hollywood Regency Syroco Style. Seems to be a heavy plastic/poly resin material painted will heavy gold tone paint. There are two spots that have paint scratched off. Please look at all my photos. Very classy r efinished ornate antique gold leaf mirror. Not certain of exact age of original frame. But I would guess at least 50-60 years old based on the patina on the original frame and mirror glass. Frame and finished corners are solid. As well as the ornate decorations. The frame has been recently refinished with hand applied dutch metal/composition metal leaf with glazing. The frame comes with the original thick mirror glass. This is a vintage or antique gold gilt mirror. Recently purchased at an estate sale. I am unsure of it's age. A sticker on the back reads Made In Italy. The mirror frame is light weight and I believe it is some sort of plastic. In very good, used and vintage condition, it measures 12" X 7 1/8" The back is lined with velvet and there is a hook at the top for hanging. Ornate Antique Gold Guilt Gesso Frame Beveled Mirror
This is a gorgeous. Antique, gold, gesso mirror that has been in my family for ages. The frame dates back to the 1880's according to my nana who passed it down to me. This piece has seen some wear and isn't perfect but, nothing that takes away from how gorgeous this piece is. I think any minor flaw just adds to the patina of the piece. The mirror itself is beveled and in beautiful condition for its age. There is hardly a scratch on it which is quite remarkable. The frame measures 20"x 20" and as you can see from the picture. In any case, the sculpture is well executed and detailed. The gesso frame is two tiered with ornate scallops, scrolls, acanthus leaves and fan/shell decorations on the corners. Very pretty little mirror gold colored metal. Possibly brass. Very nice details as seen in picture. It's religious, may have been a frame. The back was probably an easel back, but has been converted to hanging. It has a cross at the top and IHS. It's 6-1/2 high by 5-1/4" There is a tiny crack in the H. But the condition is very good. It features a beautiful ornate gold frame(not sure if wood or resin) The mirror is beveled glass and has a smaller beveled blass mirror in the center of the larger one. There is a small flaw in the frame on one corner(see photos) The total piece measures approximately 26-1/2" x 20-1/4" The smaller mirror in the middle measures approximately 18" x 12" There is no maker noted anywhere that I can find. This is a very heavy mirror and has the metal hangers on the back. You can hang it vertically or horizontally because there are two sets of hangers!
