Walter Hubbard, and Orson and Chitten Hatch began in Meriden, Connecticut in 1852 as Bradley, Hatch& Company. Clocks were the sole product of the newly formed company. When the Hatch brothers sold their interests in the firm two years later. Nathaniel Bradley, William Bradley and Walter Hubbard formed a company which they named simply Bradley and Hubbard. By 1856, they were producing call bells and sewing machines, but clocks continued to be the main line of production throughout the 1850's and 1860's. Many northern manufacturers prospered immensely during the Civil War due to the expanded market west of the Mississippi and increased foreign exports. Victorian Antique Wall Mirror- long, hanging, silverbacked. Wood & plaster. P/U
Beautiful antique wall mirror. Most likely Victorian though I wouldn't really date this as much older than the early turn of the century. It's about 54" wide and 19" tall from the highest point of the decoration in the center. It has 3 mirrored panes and it looks to be silverbacked. There is very faint tarnishing taking place underneath which you can see. But I think it adds to the patina. Looks great. There's also a very small mark on the glass in the middle pane near the edge, not very noticeable. It's made of wood with an ornate plaster front and top decoration of a shell. The left bottom corner has a small chip in the plaster. This mirror is in great shape for its age. It's very heavy and has a wire string in the back for hanging. Superb and Most Unusual 19th Century French Wall Hanging Frame in Hand Mirror Shape with Classical Motifs. Putti, etc. This is an unusual item of high quality. The frame is of metal- possibly brass. This has at one time been silver plated but this has since been worn from the front- the reverse shows that the item was once plated. Definitely a wall hanging frame rather than a hand mirror, the ornate front has classical motifs whilst the reverse is flat and has a hanging ring. I would date it to Ca. 1870 and believe it is probably French in origin- but I may be mistaken. The item has a height of approx 30.6 cm. It is in good used condition with wear to the plating as can be seen below. The glass is missing. There is no restoration. Please study the close up pictures below for full details. This beautiful antique hanging hat rack and mirror is from the late 1800s. It has so much going for it I am not sure where to start. There are 6 brass hat racks that are very ornate. The mirror is beveled and in very good condition(some very slight wear on the right side that could be re-silvered) I believe the wood is mahogany. The inserts are velvet. The side and bottom edge of the piece has a nice carved design. The hooks are really cool(see scan) The shelf is approx. 4 1/4" deep. It could easily hold some knick knacks. Amazing large wall hanging punched tin mirror measures 43 1/2 inches across and 39 1/2 inches from highest point at top to the bottom of the mirror. It's 1 inch thick. It has a gorgeous punched design with a beautiful old patina. The back has a wire hanger. The back of the piece has a small sticker that says"Hecho en Mexico" It's in very good condition. This is an unusual one. Looks to be a quality piece. It measures 10x6. The back is a pebbled plastic-like stuff. The black is a heavy silky fabric. Mirror is thick an scalloped. The face has a couple of very small scratches. I am stumped by the small brass piece mounted at the bottom. The only ting I can figure is a place put put a hat pin. To the right of it. Vintage Double Framed Small Hanging Wall Mirror Wood Frame Swirl 10x12 Deep
This small hanging mirror came from an auction in Vermont. I am unsure of it's age. It is double-framed. The top frame is a little loose. The frame has quite a few use/wear marks. The mirror has some marks under the glass. An 1/2" line and some spots, see all pictures. The frame measures 10 1/8 by 12 1/4 inches and 2 1/4" deep. Just the mirror measures 5 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches. If anyone knows what this type of frame is called, I would greatly appreciate the information.

Antique Vintage nicely refurbished wood Wall Hanging Mirror 22" x 26"
This awesome antique mirror measures around 26" x 22" overall. It has been refinished with a paintbrush apparently very artistically and professionally. I was told this was probably a hundred years old. But I am not an expert in antiques and can not say for certain. There are a few chips in the refurbished paint here and there, and the mirror itself has some imperfections in the reflection area such as scratches, etc. Pretty much age appropriate and expected. this will have other imperfections from age/use, possibly not mentioned in ad. This is a gorgeous decorative mirror starburst. It measures approximately 12" tall and 12" wide. It does show some light wear consistent with its age(silver backing to the mirrors peeling. Etc) but overall as you can see from the pictures a rare and exquisite piece with gorgeous patina and age. Antique victorian bamboo wood framed tri-fold shaving mirror. Open it measures 17" across. 12" tall, closed 11" The center mirror is flanked on either side by two beveled mirrors. On the brass closure is stamped Brevete SGDG LB Patented 1878. The mirror is all original except for the two pieces of wallpaper on the back of the two side mirrors. I have never tried to remove them. The center has a faded maroon leather back with a gold coat of arms. The bottom center panel edge has a sliver of wood missing. See picture. Vintage Wood Gold Gilt Decorated 67" Long Hanging Wall Mirror
This is a vintage or antique mirror in a gold gilt decorative wood frame. It is long and hangs on a wall. The top oval portrait section tilts forward at an angle. I bought this mirror 30 years ago at a high end estate sale. I fell in love with it. It is very beautiful. It has been hanging in my formal living room in smoke free home. I am not a business person or dealer so will describe it in detail. It is in original condition that I bought it. It is 67" long top to bottom and 20 1/2" across the mirror. The top piece is an oval portrait 18" long and 15 1/2" wide at the wood decoration near the base. The picture is a woman on cardboard, the glass is oval flat glass. The Oval wood around the portrait has little decorative add ons, and pieces of the add ons are missing. The wood carving on the sides also has chips and cracks, ... moreand the back of the wood is frayed. I have all this in the photos. The mirror looking glass is gently carved on the top 2 sides. The mirror is rectangular in shape(except for the top) and this section is 48 1/2" by 20 1/2" The gold wood mirror section also has little decorative wood beads, and some have fallen off. The back is all kinds of cardboard and peeling paper. Again I have not done any restoring. It is very heavy with a delicate top oval section and I do not feel competent to try and mail, so it is Local pickup only.
