1940's VINTAGE VANITY TRAY. 1940's era heavy. Sturdy metal vanity tray. The sides are an embossed brass-plated metal and the handles are solid brass. There are no black spots on the mirror and no cloudiness. No cracks or chips. There is a little VERY FAINT age foxing that you can only see if you hold the mirror up close and tilt it in a certain light. This is very difficult to see and definitely doesn't detract from the great looks of this vintage piece. There are a couple small spots on the side where the brass plating wore off(and the metal underneath is actually a brighter gold- SEE LAST PHOTO) And the velvet on the BOTTOM SIDE is in bad shape, however there's still enough left to make the tray totally non-skid, so this doesn't have to be replaced since it can not be seen when displaying(or could be easily replaced, ... moreif desired, with some non-stretch velvet or felt and a little all-purpose glue) There are no dings, dents or rust to the metal. For a vintage item, it's still in lovely shape and will display beautifully. This is a fairly heavy tray; The unpackaged weight of it is slightly under 3 pounds. Early 20th C Ornate Brass Beveled Vanity Wall Mirror & Towel Rod Holder 9" x 14"
Item No. 7911 WE DEEM THIS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE ITEMS FOR STYLE AND VALUE. THIS IS AN OLD. PREVIOUSLY-OWNED ITEM. as such, it has wear from use and age, primarily oxidation to the metal including some darkening, some original finish losses like protective coatings, and some verdigris(primarily on the ends, but scattered throughout- please examine the photos for the scattered green) a little wood loss to the backing. Early 20th Century ORNATE OPENWORK BRASS WALL MIRROR with TOWEL ROD. Or towel holder. The pattern on this heavy piece is just lovely- consisting of acanthus leaves in several different patterns, hanging, twising, scrolling, wrapping- and a few grapes, other leaves with tiny berries, roped acanthus leaves around the mirror, with a center apex stylized to resemble a crown and shield. The oval mirror has a wide, smooth bevel and is ... morein good shape with a little darkening, but no apparent silvering losses. We find no marks, but suggest the piece might be French in origin. This was hung by screws utilizing the two holes for that purpose in the lower portion. And one screw on either side of the top center shield area. It was quite secure. You might also have your local framer attach a hanging wire to the back for a more simple method of hanging. About 9" tall at the center. 2" tall on the rod sides, 14" widest, mirror is 8-1/4" x 4-1/2" and the width of the mirror extends to 11-1/4" at the decorative posts on the sides. The inside length of the rod is about 13-1/2" and the distance from the inside back of the piece to the inside edge of the rod is about 1-1/8" A useful and very attractive accessory for the powder room. ELEGANT DECO ERA VINTAGE BRASS FOOTED VANITY OR SHAVING MIRROR FEATURING A RELIEF BRASS FEMALE FIGURE WITH FLOWING GOWN The mirror height measures about 9 1/2 inches. The framed oval mirror measures about 5 1/4 by 7 inches. The overall design of this mirror is unique with beautiful detail. It tilts and it can be secured with tiny screws on each side. The figure of the woman extends out from the mirror about one inch to make it appear that she's looking at her reflection. The mirror is in excellent condition. Especially when you consider its age. It has no flaws, no specks or spots and no distortion. The back(shown in one of the photos) is a soft black felt-like material.

Vintage Bevelled Glass Vanity Dresser Mirror Victorian Cast Brass
This is a handsome. Vintage, bevelled dresser or vanity mirror that belonged to my grandmother who died at the age of 90- decades ago. So it's pretty old- I don't know how old. It appears to be solid cast brass, looks Victorian, and is stamped with the number 301 1/2 on the back of the mirror's frame and 196 1/2 on the base. It's heavy. The overall height is 18" and comes apart in 3-4 sections. The actual mirror is approximately 6" x 8.5" not including its brass frame. The frame has two decorative screws on either side of the mirror that allow it to pivot. The mirror has a few specs where it has lost the silvering. This would be perfect for anyone living in a Victorian home, and especially if the man in the family shaves the old fashioned way. For auction is an ornate Victorian tri-fold vanity or dresser mirror. Made of solid brass and celluloid and nicely decorated with a semi-nude woman. Mirror can be used on a dresser top or hung by the chain. Item has beveled glass and is made of solid brass except for the chain, which is steel with brass plating. There are strangely no manufacturer's marks, but it is a top quality item. Each mirror is about 8 x 10 inches, and overall dimensions are about 25-3/4 x 11 inches. Item is in remarkable condition. Celluloid is excellent. Mirror's silvering is excellent. With only a tiny flaw on leftmost mirror(see last photo) Brass could be polished, but I think it looks great the way it is. Antique Brass Nautical / Art Deco Style Dresser Vanity Glass Beveled Mirror
Up for auction is a very unique find. This came from an old estate sale in Central PA. This brass dresser/ vanity mirror measures 16 ½ tall by 15” wide. It’s made of brass and has a beveled mirror with webbed feet. As for the style I’m not totally sure where it falls because of the different elements I see in the mirror. It has no dents or chips and has a great patina. The only information I could find on the mirror is the number“2” on the feet and the number“06” on the top of the stand. Antique RARE Vanity Hand Mirror, inlaid with silver and brass
Up for bid is a very unusual antique hand held mirror. Measures 11 in. long. Handle is 5 inches and the width is 6 inches. the mirror glass is BEVELED I have owned it for many years and have yet to find one that is even close to looking like this one. I have gone through every inch and can find no information where it is from and who made it. I took it to Rague's in Lambertville New Jersey, they are the Antique Road Show Auctioneers. Every Monday for free you may take up to 6 items to be priced. This mirror stumped them. Possibly from 1850- 1899 when it was common not to sign pieces. It has a Chippendale design. But is NOT Chippendale, artist were known to copy designs then with no consequence's. Value $125- $150.00. Please study photo's on one photo it shows hook to hang mirror on wall. Up for sale is a vintage Venetian Glass Vanity or Dresser Tray with Hand blown glass twisted or spiral clear glass canes that surround the mirror and lovely ormolu brass details in the footed frame. It is 15" by 9 1/2" The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. There are a few very small scratches from age and use. It does have one small section where the"silvering" on the back of the glass does show through(see last photo) and there is a white"spider web" appearance to the mirror or glass in sections. MEASURES 6" X 8"X 2" REALLY JUST SELLING THE FRAME. THE 2 PIECES OF BEVELED GLASS ARE IN ROUGH SHAPE AND ONE PIECE IS MISSING. THE FRONT COVER APPEARED TO HAVE SOME DESIGN BUT MOST HAS DETERIORATED OFF. THE FRAME ITSELF IS IN GOOD CONDITION FOR AGE BUT DOES HAVE SOME CORNER NICKS. I HAVE NO TRIED TO REPAIR THIS ITEM IN ANY WAY I WILL LEAVE THAT UP TO THE BUYER. ALL THE SLOTTED SCREWS ARE INTACT AND APPEAR ORIGINAL ALONG WITH THE HARDWARE. UNSURE OF AGE AND SPECIES OF WOOD.

A Very Pretty Ornate Brass Oval Vanity Beveled Mirror Decorated With Flowers And Cherubs. The mirror has a stand attached that can fold in or out. 10 1/2" W x 10" H x 1/2" H. This is a very pretty adjustable vanity mirror which has scrolls and flowers on the brass surround and the base is solid brass with a dolphin motif. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS HEIGHT: 13 1/4" SURROUND: 7 3/4" wide x 11 1/4" tall GLASS MIRROR: 6" wide x 8 1/4" tall WIDTH: 9" at the pivots WEIGHT: 2 lbs and 12 oz MAKERS MARK& HALLMARKS: None Found CONDITION: Good Pre-owned with the notation that the base is not original and is attached with a modern screw. The glass ... moremirror is a replacement with some scratches with a grouping near the middle right which I have pictured and there is no cardboard backing behind the mirror. The mirror surround and the yoke were gold plated at one time and there are remnants of gold plate mostly on the back of the surround. I believe that the ball end pivots are not original and are attached with modern screws. The mirror surround and yoke are old and the overall package has a very good look.
