Vintage wood mirror with plaster trim work. Some of it is cracked. Some is missing. The mirror has spots that do not come off. see photos) Mirror measaures 23 1/4" tall, 14 2/8" across and approx. 1/2" thick. Heavy mirror. Weighs 3 lbs. 14 oz. Vintage Antique Carved Wood Frame Beveled Glass Oval Mirror Pre-Mid Century
This is a beautiful mirror. You are bidding on an antique oval mirror. This has an oak wooden frame with a top crest of hand carved floral. I believe this is early 20th century. The mirror has a 1" bevel completely around the oval. The back is sealed with a 1/4" piece of wood not plywood. The last picture shows one of the dovetail joints in the frame. This frame was made from four separate pieces of oak which were joined together at those dovetails to make the complete frame. I think this is another sign of the age of this mirror. It has two holes through the front of the frame which were probably used for mounting. It also has one eyelet on the back which was also used for mounting. The second eyelet is gone. The winning bidder will have to develop their own mounting. The complete mirror and frame is 18-3/4" tall and 26" ... morewide. This is a lovely older mirror. It has a beveled edge and a very nice craved piece at the top. Not sure if it's wood or gesso. It has wood backing. The bottom decorative piece is missing and there are a couple of cracks in the top part. A few spots on the mirror as you can see in the pics. Over all it is in good condition for it's age. I finally decided to part with my great aunt's antique heavy ornate wall mirror. Antique Gold Leaf Wood& Gesso Wall Mirror. This mirror is just gorgeous and has been well maintained. The glass is in good condition.no chips. No cracks, no hairlines etc. The mirror needs to be cleaned. I have limited space, and that's why I'm selling it. There is a small water damage on one corner at the top right but when it's hanging the wall- no one can't tell. One corner of the mirror the same top right- a portion of wood approximately 1/2" x 1/2" wood came off. My mom. One time, when the gold was oxidized from age, had it restored with new gold leaf sheets. It hangs on the wall with wire which is intact. this is a stunning vintage hand carved wooden convex wall mirror. it is a very large mirror and has a wonderful gold gilt finish. the mirror is circular and has a convex domed shape. the top is a large very ornate eagle with wings spread. He stands on the mirror with a long olive leaf in hand. the mirror has many dimensional spheres running around the whole border of the frame. the bottom also has very dimensional ornate detailing with a stylized floral design. the frame measures 30 3/4 by 22 1/2 inches. already has a hanging wire on the back ready for mounting. it is in great shape and no pieces missing. the actual convex mirror is fading a bit but still does work as a mirror. Early 1900's ANTIQUE FLOWER PAINTED MIRROR "VINTAGE" Carved Wood Frame
What a Beautiful and Rare Find. Excellent Condition for it's age. Has to be early 1900's. Hand Painted Flowers around the perimeter with aged distress and decor paint color. All carved wood top and bottom with dowel spliced joints, see photo#3. Mirror is 19-1/2" at it's widest point and 30" tall. Very heavy with double hanging wire. Mirror is fully covered on the back with 1/4" panel, no makers name. I believe the wood frame is Mahogany. One age dot, about 1/16" in diameter, see photo#2, just above the couch in the photo. Antique Vintage Mirror Round Corners Signed on Back 14.5 by 18.5" Painted Wood
This old mirror came from an auction in Vermont. The glass doesn't appear old. But the frame does. The mirror measures 18 1/2" high and 14 1/2" wide. It has some dings, some scratches and some wear. I am not sure if the gold trim has been touched up or if this was the way it was originally. The mirror is loose at the top, it could use two more nails to hold it secure. The top back is signed Mrs. Goodwell maybe, it's hard to make out.

Antique Vintage nicely refurbished wood Wall Hanging Mirror 22" x 26"
This awesome antique mirror measures around 26" x 22" overall. It has been refinished with a paintbrush apparently very artistically and professionally. I was told this was probably a hundred years old. But I am not an expert in antiques and can not say for certain. There are a few chips in the refurbished paint here and there, and the mirror itself has some imperfections in the reflection area such as scratches, etc. Pretty much age appropriate and expected. this will have other imperfections from age/use, possibly not mentioned in ad. Antique or vintage hand mirror decorated with deep teal colored feathers! This is a very interesting item. It is a heavy. Quality, beveled oval-shaped mirror with a wooden handle. The perimeter of the mirror front and back has been adorned with the pretty feathers and given a silky ribbon adornment on the back. I'm not sure when it was made- it does show considerable age. I can see just a very tiny bit of the back of the mirror on the reverse, and it is metal. Under all those feathers I don't know what condition it is in- it's possible someone may want this to restore it to the original condition but I can't say what condition the mirror is underneath the decorations. I do not know when this was made. But it is obviously very old. I found it in an antique shop several years ago for my grandson and he has since outgrown it. What you see is Pinocchio on the bottom with an apple in hand and Jiminy following behind with an umbrella in hand. There are waves behind them. This looks like it was put together in 2 pcs. This is not a crack as it may appear. It goes all the way down to the bottom. But goes unnoticed under the paint on Pinocchio. I have no idea what kind of wood this is. Vintage gilded Italian Florentine frame in a large oval shape with carved border within a pierced and carved scrolling foliate frame. The frame looks like it was made to hold a mirror but we are selling it in its as found condition without a mirror. It can also hold a painting if this is how the new owner would like to use it. The way it was hanging originally is with the larger side in a horizontal position like seen in our first picture. This could change however. If one wishes to hang it vertically. Antique hand carved Federal Eagle Convex round mirror in hand carved gilded wood. The mirror looks very old and we believe it to date from the late 1800's. We took lots of pictures so that the people interested can appreciate the way it is made and be able to estimate its age. The frame is all hand carved wood with a gold gilt surface. The convex glass is in excellent condition with very mild interior discoloration from age that hardly shows. The overall measurements are 32" high X 22" wide. The mirror only is 17 1/2" in diameter. As one can see clearly from all our pictures. The condition in general is very good, except for a small part of the eagle's head missing. Unfortunately this is how the mirror was found. This auction is for an antique mirror. It is oval in shape and measures approx. 25 by 31 inches. It has a gold liner and the frame has been painted black. There is some nice detail on the frame. I am uncertain of the age but can tell it is much older. Also quite heavy. There is some minor wear to the frame as can be scene in the photos. Thanks for looking. The mirror is perfect rectangle. This is a charming antique wall mirror with elegant floral gesso accents on the top and bottom of the frame. A beaded scroll and leaf pattern etched into the back of the glass at the top of the mirror, and three flower screws holding the mirror snugly in place on the frame. Overall condition is very good with no missing silver on the mirror or gesso on the frame, and only very light, almost completely unnoticeable cloudiness and a couple tiny black spots on the glass. There are a few scuff marks on the outside edge of the frame where the pink primer is showing through. It still looks fantastic as-is but could be easily touched up. The cardboard backing is intact with a tear along one side. There is a wire attached for wall hanging. The outer measurements including the frame are 12" W x 28" H. Stunning Antique Vintage Italian hand carved wood sunburst mirror No words to describe this truly fabulous find. From tip to tip in both directions the frame measures 34" H x 34" W The mirror itself is about 7 1/4" square. The mirror frame is composed by four quadrants. Two of them being a tiny wobbly recommending to be fastened at the center square in the back. Mirror(glass itself) shows its age. Purchased in its actual condition at an antique shop in Venice. Antique Vintage Lg Gold Gilt Mirror Wood Gesso French Style - CHICAGO PICK UP
LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. Early 1900's large gilt mirror. Primarily wood with gesso details on the corners and ribbon attached to the top. The mirror in good to very good shape. The gold has an aged look and there are some spots here and there where the paint has worn away. Especially on the bottom edge(see pictures 9-10) which gives it a slightly shabby appearance. One area where the gesso has chipped off on a petal(bottom left, picture 8) Also an indentation in the wood to the right of that(manufacturing flaw- picture 8) Apart from that everything else is in good shape. The mirror surface is in excellent shape. Pictures 6 and 7 are of the left and right sides of the frame. This item is for local pick-up only. For local pick-up items the buyer has a right of refusal.
