The larger is 1 5/8 inches in ... morediameter. The smaller is about 7/8 inch in diameter. Please check out pictures carefully. Most of the Underleak collection was completed before and during the early years of the Second World war. So most of the collection would have come before 1941. These buttons have been boxed up for 60 to 75 years. They were used and displayed prior to being put away. Please see pictures to determine the condition. Ask questions or ask for more pictures if you want to see an additional views. We have inherited a button collection from Minnesota. We have counted over 70.000 buttons so far. They were started by a woman in 1867, who, as a child, began her first charm string. We understand she was 7 years old when the collection was begun. Her name was Mrs. Anna Underleak. She exhibited her collection at the Minnesota State Fair in 1939. At that time, she had close to 40,000 buttons. She and her daughter determined to have the largest collection in Minnesota, and it appears, they kicked it into full gear in the 1940's because many of the cards of buttons are dated during that decade. We are not sure when Mrs. Underleak died but her daughter died in the early 1970's and our mother purchased the whole collection as part of the daughter's estate. When our mother counted the collection in around 1999-2000, she came up with the total of 83,000 buttons. We have now inherited it, and are beginning to sell it. We are not sure whether it ever was the largest collection in Minnesota. But there are several newspaper articles, with pictures, that show Mrs. Underleak surrounded by her buttons in 1939. She was in the St. Paul Paper and the Pine River Journal. We have no experience with buttons, other than using them, so we are trying to learn about them as quickly as we can. This is an antique round mirror with a black painted gesso frame and a gilt painted inner edge. It is 12 1/2" in diameter. The gesso is in good condition. None missing. Some seashells were added and probably are not original to the frame, but it makes for a decorative effect. Antique Gold Gilded Deep Round Mirror 19th Century Colonial Williamsburg Style
Exceptional old round mirror in wonderful condition without damage. There is not even any missing decorative gesso. The only minuscule crack I noticed is shown in pic#5 and is certainly in the category of normal for a piece this old. My guess is that it is from the late 1800s up to maybe 1920. Although I am not an expert. Most of my estimate of age is based on the patina of the finish and aging of the wood on the back. The paper dust cover is old but I am unsure if it is original. I know nothing about judging the age of mirrors so I don't know if it is original. There is a short faint line in the glass upon close inspection. The widest point is just over 23" the raised rim on the front is 21" in diameter, the mirror is just over 16" wide and the frame is 4" thick. The gold is more of a matte finish than the pictures, ... moreas the flash of the camera added some brightness. This is a great opportunity to add a featured piece to your decoration, or to include a rarely offered piece to your collection.

Antique Vintage Mirror Round Corners Signed on Back 14.5 by 18.5" Painted Wood
This old mirror came from an auction in Vermont. The glass doesn't appear old. But the frame does. The mirror measures 18 1/2" high and 14 1/2" wide. It has some dings, some scratches and some wear. I am not sure if the gold trim has been touched up or if this was the way it was originally. The mirror is loose at the top, it could use two more nails to hold it secure. The top back is signed Mrs. Goodwell maybe, it's hard to make out.

It does have some scratches on the mirror which I am sure is from how old it is. The leather on the backside is hardened from age. There are no cracks or breaks and it has a wonderful bevelling in the mirror which is very hard to picture accurately. It is 8 1/2" across and is about an 1" tall. It is pretty heavy. This Antique shelf mirror measures 12 inches tall the smaller shelf is 3 inches deep the bottom shelf is 5 inches deep. What I found when searching this is that it is from the 30's the wood most likely is mahogany the mirror is old so it is not real clear like mirrors today. I have another but it is missing the top shelf and the wood piece that holds it in. If the winner is interested in it also we can do a buy it now on that one.

Antique 14 1/2" Round Wall or Vanity Mirror with Fleur-de-Lis Design
This antique round wall/vanity mirror is about 100 years old. The original paper backing and all clips and hangers are original. This mirror measures 14 1/2" around and has what I can only describe as a"fleur-de-lis" pattern running across the top through the glass. It's impossible to tell if that design is etched or is some kind of old art/paint/gilt still clinging to the glass surface. This mirror does not photograph well. But you can make out the design in one of the attached photos- please view them carefully. The design is much more noticeable in actuality. This old mirror has a distressed patina, some wear spots, and an overall cloudiness in the glass. It's old- but still beautiful for all that. The round edge of this old mirror has the most signs of wear. Amazingly, it has no cracks or chips, or dings- it does ... morehave a slight bubble in one spot near the edge but it's very small. Antique hand carved Federal Eagle Convex round mirror in hand carved gilded wood. The mirror looks very old and we believe it to date from the late 1800's. We took lots of pictures so that the people interested can appreciate the way it is made and be able to estimate its age. The frame is all hand carved wood with a gold gilt surface. The convex glass is in excellent condition with very mild interior discoloration from age that hardly shows. The overall measurements are 32" high X 22" wide. The mirror only is 17 1/2" in diameter. As one can see clearly from all our pictures. The condition in general is very good, except for a small part of the eagle's head missing. Unfortunately this is how the mirror was found. The frame measures 11 1/2 inches diameter The mirror area is 6 inches diameter. The frame is 1 1/2 inches thick. The mirror is a replacement. The thumb tack was holding a string for hanging. Barbola roses. Rose leaves with a large bow on the top. Roses along the sides with sweeping leaf motif flowing between blooms. In fine condition except for one small missing edge. see 2nd to last picture) Does not show much. But it not perfect. The frame is made of wood- solid and firm. Ready to hang on wall on solid. This is a very nice antique make-up mirror. It is on a stand so it can be used on a dresser or vanity. It has a gold colored frame. It could be brass. But I'm not completely certain of the metal. It stands 13 1/2 inches tall. The mirror itself is round and is 8 inches in diameter. The mirror has two sides and can be flipped over to have either side at whatever angle is needed. This is a very sturdy item- it weighs almost 3 pounds. There are no markings on the bottom. So I'm not sure how old or where it was made. This is probably an antique. Certainly vintage, round wall mirror in an old wooden frame. It has a raised ribbon design on top along with a floral and leaf design along with berries at the top, bottom, and both mid-sides. It has a wire attached to the back for hanging.c Frame is gold and brown in color. Mirror measures 26 1/4" in diameter with the decoration at the top sticking up 2 5/8" above the frame. Frame itself is about 1 1/2" wide around the glass. It is in good. Solid condition for its age. Mirror looks very good, too. There's a remnant of old sticker/tag on the back, but no name on that and don't even know if that sticker is original to this item. It will be carefully packed and insured which is reflected in the S&H amt.

I really don't know the"maker" of this beautiful mirror. Or the actual age.only that it has been in the family for many years. It belonged to a friend's mother who passed on about 10 years ago at age 96, and she had owned it for many many years! may have belonged to her family before that, but don't know that for sure) They no longer have the room for it, and no one to pass it on to. It is about 29-30" round and with the carving on top, it is about 32" high. It is in excellent shape, having been cared for lovingly for all those years. Unique Antique Vanity Table Top Round Mirror 13" Tall, Nice Patina & Design
Nice antique circular mirror on a base. It's 13" tall. 12 1/2" total width, the mirror is 5 1/2" in diameter and the base is 4" The back is almost as pretty as the front with detailed bars holding the old wood and glass in place. It's in good condition with a small crack in the mirror at the top behind the metal frame, and a scratch on the mirrored surface toward the middle bottom. The mirrored top leans slightly to one side or the other, it may just need tightened but we've just left it in it's original condition. I do not see a maker's mark.
