Antique art nouveau small brass wall mirror with 2 candle sconces
This is a charming small art nouveau wall mirror and 2 adjustable candle sconces. They are connected to the center of the frame with a bolt and ball nut that I do not feel are original although it has always been there for the 25 years that I have had the piece. It is all brass and has the face of a cherub at top center and on the back has a cast in loop to pass a wire through for hanging. The mirror is held in place by a metal strip screwed to the frame. The mirror is in perfect condition and measures 4" x 1 1/4" The complete length is 9 1/4" x 4 1/4" at widest part of frame. The sconces when fully extended are 8" and I will leave them that way for shipping. There are no identifying marks on it. I do not accept returns or give refunds. I ship only within the continental U.S.

I have three mirrors that are matching. They purportedly came out of oldest barber shop in Dodge City. The scroll in the upper corners are hand carved. The 1" bys that frame the mirrors are 3/4 x 4-3/4's. One x Fives? I mention this as a possible way to date the mirrrors. Also is a picture of one screw head. Antique Victorian Round Mirror Black Frame with Seashells 12 1/2", Gilt Edge
This is an antique round mirror with a black painted gesso frame and a gilt painted inner edge. It is 12 1/2" in diameter. The gesso is in good condition. None missing. Some seashells were added and probably are not original to the frame, but it makes for a decorative effect. The silvering is in fairly good condition and there is some gilt paint loss, but this is a very old mirror. It has wire and is ready to hang. Antique Italian Rococo Style Carved Wood Hand Painted Framed Mirror 20 x 12 1/2
This is an absolutely beautiful Antique Italian Rococo Style carved wood and gesso mirror. Looks like it was carved from a single wood panel and is intricately painted with the most amazing details. So much detail. One would find details like this on a full sized piece of furniture. Hand painted with very intricate details of roses, flowers and the like. Base color is a rich deep creamy gold color which more than likely was originally an oil base white. Detailed with moss green and a profusion of red flowers embellishing this wonderful piece. Nicely varnished in clear giving this piece a wonderful warmth. Stands approximately 20 1/4 inches tall and measures approximately 12 1/2 inches wide and wood is over 1 1/2 inches at it's widest thickness. This was originally purchased by my grandmother who lived for a while in the Russian section ... morenear Knob Hill. San Francisco, California in the early sixties and apparently purchased this at Collectors Gallery 2217 Polk Street, San Francisco according to the faded ink stamp on the back fiberboard backing. This is a vintage or antique gold gilt mirror. Recently purchased at an estate sale. I am unsure of it's age. A sticker on the back reads Made In Italy. The mirror frame is light weight and I believe it is some sort of plastic. In very good, used and vintage condition, it measures 12" X 7 1/8" The back is lined with velvet and there is a hook at the top for hanging. This is a set of two beautiful antique-style(not sure whether actually antique) mirrors from the Russian Ural region. Please see the intricate metalwork on these. I'm not sure what material they're made from: maybe bronze or brass. My family is Russian. And we received these as a gift from a Russian business contact in the Russian Ural in the late 1990s. According to the person who gave them to us, this type of metalworking, and specifically the ones made by this craftsman, is the pride of the Russian Ural. Antique 14 1/2" Round Wall or Vanity Mirror with Fleur-de-Lis Design
This antique round wall/vanity mirror is about 100 years old. The original paper backing and all clips and hangers are original. This mirror measures 14 1/2" around and has what I can only describe as a"fleur-de-lis" pattern running across the top through the glass. It's impossible to tell if that design is etched or is some kind of old art/paint/gilt still clinging to the glass surface. This mirror does not photograph well. But you can make out the design in one of the attached photos- please view them carefully. The design is much more noticeable in actuality. This old mirror has a distressed patina, some wear spots, and an overall cloudiness in the glass. It's old- but still beautiful for all that. The round edge of this old mirror has the most signs of wear. Amazingly, it has no cracks or chips, or dings- it does ... morehave a slight bubble in one spot near the edge but it's very small. Up for auction are two beautiful antique hand held vanity mirrors. They each have beveled glass which are both in good condition. No cracks or chips. Both have a very pretty flower design. One has a brass handle and the plastic covering has a gold background underneath it. There are a couple of places that the top part is raised up which is shown in the pictures and there are a few scratches, but otherwise in pretty good shape. It was used as a wall chandelier in big rooms for adding light to the central chandelier at the ancient time. That tow Candle Mirrors was made c' 1820. At the year 1877 probably the mirror glasses broke or was too dirt and they were replace to the glasses i have. On these glasses a stamp of the firm that replace them and it is dated 1877 at the back(see photo) The frame in Oval shape made from carved plaster artwork design with acantuse leaf on wood on thick iron string. Style Rococo. Dim' size 18" by 31.5" 45 by 80 Cm'One of the glasses is broken at the side(3 by 6 Cm' is missing) The glasses have Stains& spots so I replace them with new ... moreglasses at the front. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ORNATE BRONZE CHERUB VANITY MIRROR 13 1/2" X 12" X 2 3/4"
Offered for your consideration is this beautiful ornate bronze mirror. I believe it is bronze since my magnet does not stick to it. Although my magnet is not the strongest. It does stick to the screws on back but not to any other part on the mirror in the slightest bit at all. I know brass is slightly magnetic and bronze is not(based on what I read on line) This measures 13 1/2" high X 12" wide X 2 3/4" deep. The width is measured including the knobs on the side that screw on and off. This is a gorgeous mirror that can compliment many styles such as art nouveau, victorian, shabby chic. the list goes on. When I ship I will be taking the knobs off so I can fit it in a large flat rate box. They will screw back in, but be forwarned, that you have to spin them a little until they line up correctly. They will screw in once you find ... morethe spot. One screws in a little further than the other. I just don't want them damaged in the shipping. I've compared some of the mirrors on line. This one seems a little bigger. The screws on back are standard flat screws rather than phillips head which is an older type screw. As stated in the condition description. I believe the back has been replaced. I do not think the back is the original. I really think this is an older one. Look at the pics up close. As stated in the condition description I have not cleaned this, because I am uncertain what would be considered patina and desirable to the collector. I will leave cleaning up to the buyer. ANTIQUE 12 1/2 x 15 1/2 SOLID OAK MIRROR c1900'S This solid Antique mirror appears to be oak or cherry. Bound by a solid piece of wood and brass nails in the back. In nice condition. Has a few small scratches around the perimeter of the mirror and there is a bronze finish on the frame itself. Can be refinished to accentuate the wood. Weighs over 5 lbs. Would look beautiful hung on a wall above an entryway table. Or with a powder room vanity, or above a nice dresser in the bedroom. Use it in place of a headboard. Scallop Curve Dome Arc Arch Top. No scratches. Just a bit of missing silver on a tiny part of the bottom left edge(right at the bottom) Minimal. Normal. 37 1/2" Wide x 32 1/2" Tall. 32 1/2" Tall at highest scalloped curve. 27" Tall at second tallest scalloped curves. 22 1/4" Tall at right and left straight edges.
