Antique/Vintage Brass Framed Mirrored Fire Place Screen
Listed is a very beautiful antique/vintage fire place screen. It has a sturdy brass frame surrounding a beveled mirror supported with 4 brass feet. Mirror is applied with painted flowers(iris) It is in good condition except for the back covering. It has probably sit to close to the fire and thru the years have overheated and ruffled and run down as can be seen in the picture. Overall height is 25" and the width is 16 1/2" This particular screen is a small size and difficult to find.

I cleaned this up a little bit. But you will want to give it a good detail cleaning to bring out all of its original beauty. My understanding is that is was working when it was disconnected. As you can see they have a little 3rd leg that can be folded up for storage or extended back to make it stand. I would say these are strictly decorative. This is a great set of antique owl cast iron firedog/andiron guards. The owls are circa late 1800's and have the amber marble eyes which glow. This listing is for the owl guards only which are very rare. The actual andirons(horizontal bar for the logs) can be attached. The“bolts” are missing, but easily replaced, please examine photos closely. Each owl is 13" tall x 8" wide. Please consider pictures as part of description.
