This auction is for a pair of Czech Amethyst Bobeche& Prism set from the 1940's. A very unique complete pair of cut clear crystal prisms and an antique amethyst flat Bobeche. The Bobeche"drip catcher" measures 3 1/2" wide and has a hole of 1" to fit a standard taper candle(holders and candles are not part of this auction) The prism drops measure approx. 1 7/8. The Bobeche and prisms are in good condition for being over 60 years old. These make an elegant look for your dining table with unique and old charm look. These are part of a collection from my ancestors who kept them properly stored for over 3 generations. We will ship them out very carefully to you to ensure there isn't any breakage. For sale I have a fantastic example of an early fairy lamp. I believe its a Webb piece. It measures about 4.5" tall and about 6" across the base. The condition is excellent for the age. The decoration is nearly all intact. There is an area where some is missing. See picture 8. There are no chips or cracks except for the usual chipping on the bottom inside rim of the shade, see picture 7. This is satin glass so it has faint scuffing on the base bottom and inside where the original CLARKES candle sits. I will leave the cleaning to you. I try to describe accurately. Description Pickers and collectors. We have another great barn find! Found this little piece in an old building on my Grandmother's property. No telling how long it's been there. This little candle reminds me of the old movies I watched as a kid. Where they would light there little candle for a night light as they walked through their homes at night. It has a metal base which holds the glass candle holder with a finger style holder or loop for carrying. It has some minor rust and patina as well as some discoloration from age. Really gives it great character. The votive candle holder is glass and has a very tiny hob knob like diamond raised design. There is some discoloration on the top of the glass. This is truly unbelievable. I am going to let you shoppers be the judge of how this thing really works. I bought all these pieces together and not sure if it's put together right. I am familiar with Clarkes Fairy lamps but this piece has me baffled. So I decided to sell everything together. If it doesnt all go together then high bidder gets some bonus pieces. The two small pieces that are separate look as if they fit together, but trust me they don't, the dome is too large for the clear base. This is a unusually large centerpiece, I do believe it's Burmese, you be the judge. Both clear pieces and brass center are marked Clarkes Fairy. The clear pieces do have damage, the rest of the pieces have no damage. I have seen quite a bit of this type of glass but never this large. 4 Vintage Czech Bobeche (2 amber, 2 clear) (1 8-pin, 3 5-pin)
4 VINTAGE CZECH BOBECHE Large: Approximately 3 and 7/8 inches in diameter with a 1-inch center hole. This is flatter than the 3 smaller pieces but it still has the curve. Three small: Approximately 3 inches in diameter with a 1-inch center hold. One still shows the label) One is an 8-pin piece and the other three are 5-pin pieces. These were found recently in an old trunk purchased in Rome. GA. I am not sure of any exact dates. Based upon my internet search and the age of other items in the trunk, the date of pre-1940 is the best I can do. Two of the bobeche are amber and two are clear. The two amber are not matching since one is an 8-pin and one is a 5-pin. These need a good cleaning and the wires or pins may need to be replaced due to age. There are some imperfections as can be seen in the photos that occurred during the manufacture of ... morethese items. There are a few tiny"bubbles" in the glass. Please examine all photos carefully to determine condition. I will be adding some groups of prisms for sale that were found near these in the next few days. Thanks for looking at my auctions! Here we have 2 Vintage old blown glass pieces with Rhinestones. Each has a different shape& you can tell they are hand blown. I'm not 100% sure but I think someone added the rhinestones later on. Of course they were added after they were blown.I think someone else beesides the maker did it,but have no idea! I don't know how old or the maker of them. I do think they are very old though,but not sure. They are different sizes but are made allmost 100% exactly the same. They have a lip on the inside. I have no idea about glass blowing but I'm sure they are authentic just by looking at them& the ends of each,etc. One has a tiny chip in it also. Please check pics,I took plenty of them. One has no chips or cracks. The bigger one has a chip/crack in it at the same spot. The chip has been there ... moresince I've owned them which has been close to 5 years now. It has not become any bigger. The person who owned them before me used them as candle holders. After looking once again,I've found that the splotchy pattern is from burning the candles. It looks cool like this,but if you want to you can clean them up& they will be a gold color underneath. Antique Fairy Lamp with a stunning Art glass base( with cream-pink swirls) A Clarke's Pyramid pottery insert and glass chimney. Measures 3 3/4" dia x 6 1/4" ht. There is a tiny flea bite on the art glass rim's edge( see last pic) otherwise all the pieces are still in excellent condition.

This is a VINTAGE VENETIAN( ART GLASS WIRED FLOWER CENTERPIECE. It is a multi-colored bouquet with white. Pink and brown glass flowers with yellow centers and thin jade color leaves. In the center are two(2) small glass taper candle holders. One holder/cup is jade green and the other is brown. Each of the flowers, leaves and candle holders are attached by navy blue wrapped wire. At the very end of the bouquet is a faux tree bark/branch grasp. The bouquet lays low on a flat surface. it is approximately 10" long x 5" wide 3" high.
