This candle holder is an exquisite piece that distinguishes itself by the intricate hand-etched base and the Art Nouveau or Art Deco raised wings that hold the top aloft. As in a tribute or a prize. It is truly a statement piece of old glass and crystal that could have been made sometime between the late 1800's up until 1940. Unfortunately, I cannot find any maker's marks, so do not know the true origin or age of the piece. However, such intricate workmanship is rarely found in modern times. There are no chips. These are a pair of rare vintage Czech Amber Bobeche with 8 pins in each of them. These are vintage from Czech-circa 1940 quite unique. We have not found any like these anywhere on the internet and can make a great start to creating your own bobeche set with choice of prisms. They are part of a limited collection of antique crystals preserved by my grandfather who collected these in the 1940's. These vintage Bobeche have some signs of age as they are over 60 years old. A beautiful pair of hand cut lead crystal and heavy brass finish luster candle holders. Made in germany The etched bochette is 6 inches wide The base is 10 inches tall. It is adorned with eight large vintage hand cut teardrop prisms on each abra. Very heavy metal base has a beautiful faceted crystal post that supports the bochette. The bottem of base has a gilt brass finish on metal. I found no cracks or chips on the crystal bochette. The prisms are also in good condition for their age. I changed the old connectors on the prisms with new brass ones because the old ones were brittle and rusty looking from age A must see!

This item is a beautiful Double Candelabra/Candle Holder with Light. I believe someone made it into an electric light but I believe you can take the electrical parts off if you didn't want the light. The light does work. It has two candle holders that fit into each arm and each have 6 glass prisms. It is a large piece. Measuring 8" tall from bottom of base to top(not including light bulb fixture) and it is 11 1/2" wide from arm to arm. the Base is 6 1/2" in dia. It is very heavy and I believe it is lead crystal. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a crack in one of the holders(see pic#9) which is not all the way through and barely noticeable. LOT OF 2 VINTAGE PAIRS 4" CZECH CRYSTAL BOBECHE w/8 pins IN AMBER
These are 2 pairs of vintage Czech crystal Bobeche in an amber color. A unique feature on these particular bobeche is that they have 8 pins on each of them to hang your favorite prisms and measure 4" wide. These are vintage crystals from Czech-circa 1940 and hard to find. We have not found any like these anywhere on the internet. Some of the Bobeche are tagged"made in Czechoslovakia" They are part of a limited collection of antique crystals preserved by my grandfather who collected these in the 1940's. These vintage Bobeche have their original pins on them and are ready to go to hang whatever crystals you may have or are collecting. A great opportunity to build your own unique bobehe and prism set. These are all in remarkably good conditions for being over 60 years old. They do not have any chips or scratches as they have ... morenever been used.The center hole is 1" to fit a standard 7/8" candle taper. They have a total of 8 pins in each Bobeche for a total of 16. VINTAGE PAIR OF CUT CRYSTAL IN BRASS CANDLE VOTIVES / VASES
This is pair of vintage cut crystal set in decorative brass cnadle votives or perhaps small vases? They are very old and not with out minor flaws. First of all the larger one(4 inches in diameter by 3 1/2 inches tall) has a small abrasion to the edge of the crystal on one spot. You can feel it when you rub your finger around the edge. I tried to photograph it for you. It is not like a chip or crack but a rough edge. The smaller one(3 inches by 3 1/2) does not have that but you can see a rim of silicone(visible only on the bottom) connecting the crystal to the brass stand. There is no residue on the sides. These are very charming and illuminate beautifully. There is patina to the metal. I ask you to view the photos and ask me any questions you want. Very Nice Looking Vintage Set Of Candle Holders These are brass with crystal prisms and Italian marble bases They need a good polishing. But otherwise they seem to be in very good condition. The loops on the prisms are somewhat loose and need to be tightened up. The bases are tagged"Fine Marble Base Made In Italy. Each holder is approximately 7 3/4 inches in height overall. They have been packed away for years and really need to be placed on someone's dinner or entry table. I am also listing a very nice brass and crystal lidded candy bowl that has hanging prisms that would be a nice accompaniment to these candle holders.
