19th Century Pair Art Glass Mantle Lusters Hand Painted These are two lovely 19th Century Mantle lusters. They are approximately 11" tall. It is is 5-1/8" in diameter at the base and is 6-1/4" in diameter at its widest. They each have 8 prisms. They are hand painted with pink. Blue,purple and white flowers and gold trim. STUNNING PAIR BOHEMIAN CRANBERRY & CRYSTAL MANTLE LUSTERS
We are selling a pair of outstanding mantle lusters. They are crystal- cranberry color cut to clear. The cuts are not sharp. Rather smooth. The spears are lead crystal and have a nice shine and ring to them. The tips of such spears are always vulnerable and a couple of them may have a tiny nick to the tip- nothing major or grave. The lusters are likely German or Bohemian. The age is not determined. However, they do have some age as is evident by the mellowed, patinated color of the metal used for hanging the lusters in addition to the mentioned not new status of the tips of the spears. There may be other signs but I am not actually an expert of determining precisely how old these are. Excellent pre-owned condition. There may be a crystal spear or two that have a tiny little nick at the tip. This is to be expected from something old and fragile ... moreand mobile like these. In addition you will find a little build of of dust especially on the spears- I have not attempted to clean or dust anything. Fortunately they appear to be from a smoke free home and also they are not greasy or sticky- very clean actually. 11 1'2 inches in height. 6" in diameter across the top opening. Due to the fragility of these items they will be a little expensive to ship but we will wrap. Box, and pack them ourselves in order to keep the cost down. You will be paying for the shipping. We will take the spears off of the lusters and wrap each spear by itself. This means that you will be putting the spears back on the lusters when you receive them. This requires nothing but bending one little wire per spear which can be done by hand without any tools. Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. c1860s Beautiful Pair Bohemian Cut Green& White Glass Gilt Mantle Lusters Presented is a nice pair of Bohemian overlay cut glass mantle lusters. These lusters date to around 1860-1870. The lusters are done in opaque white glass over translucent emerald green glass. With lovely gilt detailing. The lusters have designs cut into the white to reveal the green beneath, at the top and bottom. Around the top are white'petals, each with a round or star-shaped design and a faceted clear glass prism hanging beneath. There are two sizes and styles of prisms, which alternate all the way around each luster. This is a wonderful pair of mantle lusters, great for holding candles, flowers, or display on their own. The mantle lusters are in good overall condition. As the photo ... morepoints out. One of the lusters has had a break and subsequent glue repair to one of the'petals. The gilding on both of the mantle lusters has noticeable wear. The prisms have some chips here and there, which is hard to avoid given the nature of the piece. The interior vase portions are water-tight and could be used to display flowers. Each mantle luster is about 13 3/4 inches tall. The longer prisms are about 9 inches long. Antique EAPG Green Canary Yellow Glass Lusters Mantle Candle Stick Holders Lamp 3 Part These glow slightly but not enough to say Vaseline glass at this point. The faint green glow that many old glasses have under a black light due to the manganese. An additive to stop oxidation from the iron in the glass. Very old glass yes. But not glowing enough to call them Vaseline. Three part molded glass depression green Canary Yellow glass candle holders for your mantle or dressing table lamps. Beautiful as found might need a polishing or shining up. The tops appear to be frosted the base and round prism luster holder is more of a clear green. A few minor hardly worth mentioning dings, not sure if they are from the mold or in the making process as so many were from EAPG glass. These are very old, and in my opinion much older than I'm claiming in ... morethis auction since I would rather be safe than not right on the dates here. I do see some bubbles in the glass, a very lovely fine set of luster's. Dimensions are 8.5" tall and about 4.5" diameter on the base,overall a very nice find.
