The green is ... moreSooooo much better in person that it's not showing in my photos! I was told that it is an apothecary jar- but it does not have a lid. I'm not so sure that it ever did. Because the mouth flairs out, more like an open jar, and there's no lip etc. to indicate it may have had one. I thought it would make a fabulous vase for you, or a perfect open jar to put your balls, shells.you name it, this jar will make them shine! It's an antique blown glass piece, and the color is a lovely bright light green. It's also large, measuring 11 5/8" tall, 7" diameter at the mouth and 6" diameter at the base. It's heavy, weighing in at a solid 3 lbs. The glass is thick, and it's filled with anomolies original to the making- I'm trying to show in in my close ups, even holding it up to the sky doesn't show you very well, though. There's lots of lines(the glass is very wavy inside) bubbles and burps, even on the base. That being said, there is absolutely NO damage at all to this piece- it's in amazing condition, and just drop dead gorgeous! Please ask if you have any questions. Emerald Green 1930's Cut Glass Luxor Candle Holders
These are the most beautiful antique luxor candle holders that I have ever beheld. They are cut glass and where the cut out are the glass is clear. I have tried to take close up pictures of each of the side and angle if the candle holders. So it can give you an idea of the gorgeous colors. These are from the 1930's and have remained in mint condition. The only thing missing is 3 crystals on each one(they are suppose to hold 6) but these prisms are found on eBay and other places. There is a matching pair of these and this glass is heavy glass. Each one weighs 6 pounds and that is before wrapping. These luxors measure: 13" tall 6 1/4" across the top. 5 1/2" across the bottom. 18 1/2" around the top. 8" around the middle. 17 1/2" around the bottom. The prisms are 6 1/4" long each. These candlesticks are made of a light green opaline glass and are very finely cut with a diamond pattern and are also faceted. Each of the candlesticks are hand blown with ground and polished pontils. On each of the candlesticks necks there are 7 holes for hanging prisms. This is a pair of two beautiful green glass candle holders featuring decorative etched bases. The candlesticks measure approximately 4 1/4" across X 3 1/4" high. They are clear. Green glass in very good condition with no chips or cracks. I am not an expert on glassware but I believe these candle holders are depression era glass. There is a piece of tape on the bottom of one that is labeled with handwriting that is difficult to read. Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. c1860s Beautiful Pair Bohemian Cut Green& White Glass Gilt Mantle Lusters Presented is a nice pair of Bohemian overlay cut glass mantle lusters. These lusters date to around 1860-1870. The lusters are done in opaque white glass over translucent emerald green glass. With lovely gilt detailing. The lusters have designs cut into the white to reveal the green beneath, at the top and bottom. Around the top are white'petals, each with a round or star-shaped design and a faceted clear glass prism hanging beneath. There are two sizes and styles of prisms, which alternate all the way around each luster. This is a wonderful pair of mantle lusters, great for holding candles, flowers, or display on their own. The mantle lusters are in good overall condition. As the photo ... morepoints out. One of the lusters has had a break and subsequent glue repair to one of the'petals. The gilding on both of the mantle lusters has noticeable wear. The prisms have some chips here and there, which is hard to avoid given the nature of the piece. The interior vase portions are water-tight and could be used to display flowers. Each mantle luster is about 13 3/4 inches tall. The longer prisms are about 9 inches long. Antique EAPG Green Canary Yellow Glass Lusters Mantle Candle Stick Holders Lamp 3 Part These glow slightly but not enough to say Vaseline glass at this point. The faint green glow that many old glasses have under a black light due to the manganese. An additive to stop oxidation from the iron in the glass. Very old glass yes. But not glowing enough to call them Vaseline. Three part molded glass depression green Canary Yellow glass candle holders for your mantle or dressing table lamps. Beautiful as found might need a polishing or shining up. The tops appear to be frosted the base and round prism luster holder is more of a clear green. A few minor hardly worth mentioning dings, not sure if they are from the mold or in the making process as so many were from EAPG glass. These are very old, and in my opinion much older than I'm claiming in ... morethis auction since I would rather be safe than not right on the dates here. I do see some bubbles in the glass, a very lovely fine set of luster's. Dimensions are 8.5" tall and about 4.5" diameter on the base,overall a very nice find.

The base is cranberry on the exterior and green on the interior. From the underside one can see that the green is cased with clear glass. The green has some white spotting visible from the exterior. The top is a ruby red glass with a diamond quilted type pattern. This fairy lamp came out of an estate collection. I don't know for certain whether this top was always with this base. The base measures about 5 1/4" across. Total height with top in place is about 4" Base is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks except for some tiny ... moreflecks along the sharp inside edge. The top has a bruise to bottom edge(see photo) and two shallow chips to bottom edge(see photos) The larger of which is about 1/4" across. There are some minimal flecks to sharp inside edge at top, most likely in the making. I don't see any other issues. I don't see any maker's mark. A really fine lamp. NO RESERVE.
