There is a little flake out on the right feeder at the lower horizontal rib. Otherwise fully funtional. Please note that some items for sale or auction are used and may show signs of wear. Sold used, still works, shows age and wear, still has original deal porcelain socket. base measures approx. 5 1/4 inches tall, approx. 6 1/2 inches wide. shade shows age and wear, no chips or cracks, just some roughness on rim, shade measures approx. 5 7/8 inches across top lip, approx 13 inches wide, and stands approx. 11 3/4 inches tall.

Dark Blue Violet Milkglass Plain Round Lightning Rod Ball
FOUR OUTSTANDING. UNIQUELY COLORED MILKGLASS PLAIN ROUND LIGHTNING ROD BALLS are being offered in four separate auctions this week. It is very difficult to get a feel for the true color with a single ball's photograph. So. I am posting a comparison photo. Below are the four balls being offered.separately. They would certainly make a handsome set displayed as a foursome. You are bidding on the third ball from the left. Or second in from the right. There is minimal nicking to the collars. The ball will be shipped with the appropriate end caps to cover the colors. I am not sure what the color is on this piece. It appears to be a mixture of a dark blue/purple color. I have taken photos in daylight(looks violet purple) And in full sunlight(looks violet blue) It is very crudely made. The mold lines are pronounced and seem to give the ball a ... morelook of being a bit"out of round" There are several tiny bubbles at the surface and one large bubble that didn't quite fill to the surface of the mold, leaving a mold flaw in the glass. Unusual antique wall lamp. The receptacle for oil is small. So it could be whale oil? It is domed shaped and has a lion finial. A long thin tube extends from the mouth of the lion in an exaggerated swoop down and up again. At the end of the tube are metal brackets that hold the white milkg lass globe in place. This lamp is made to hang on the wall. No wick. This piece is unmarked but does have characteristics of possibly being English. It stands 6 1/2" tall at the highest point and 5 1/2" deep. Very good overall condition with a slight dent at the bottom swoop of the oil tube. Quite a unique piece for the collector who seeks unusual examples of early lighting. Milkglass Shade with Nickel finial 2 sockets rewired This Fixture is a dandy. circa 1940's I have seen this style of Fixture above a kitchen or bathroom sink window. Mounted either on the Wall or the Ceiling. With its smaller size it could be used as a ceiling porch light. Description: Shade: Shade is tall and round white glass. With clear glass ribbed bands. Canopy has a threaded Rod at center. Shade has a hole and is placed over the threaded Rod. A steel plate follows and a Nickel finial tightens it all in place. Beautiful White Milkglass Vintage Art Deco Tierd Sky Scraper Light/Fixture Cover
This is a gorgeous. Authentic light cover/shade- removed from a home in Duluth, Minnesota that is undergoing refurbishing. This auction is only for the shade, the fixture is not included. This shade is a three tiered milkglass shade in a sky scraper art deco style, popular in the 1930's. Since the fixture was not removed from the ceiling(just the shade) I was unable to tell who made it, but I suspect it is Virden, like the other fixtures I sold earlier this month. The shade measures 9 inches tall by 7.5 inches. The mouth where it attaches to the fixture is 4 inches wide. There are no cracks or chips. It is in excellent condition! Vintage Handpainted Peach Satin- Milkglass Bedside Lamp - AMERICAN BEAUTY ROSES
This is a lovely vintage. Mid-century table lamp. The base and chimney are milkglass- satin finished in a warm beige/peach color and hand painted with beautiful yellow/peach American Beauty Roses, both on the base and on the chimney. The detailing is amazing- rose buds, full open flowers and petels. The chimney flutes at the top and turns on by a twist knob. The lamp works(I tested it) and there are no shorts. The plug and cord are in good condition, no cracks or problems. The lamp itself is in EXCELLENT condition. No chips, breaks or problems anywhere that I could find. It measures 11 inches tall from the base to the top of the chimney and 6 inches wide across the base. The cord is approximately 54 inches long. I found this unique and lovely very old rosary in my Great grandmothers items. It is a 5 segments rosary with only 5 beads for the Hail Mary in each rather than the full decade. This is not a repaired or altered piece. It is not a chaplet. So dont know what to make of it. It is done in lovely milk glass beads for the Our Fathers and red garnet type glass beads for the rest. The Crucifix is backed in pink mother of pearl on a copper type metal. The center piece is The Sacred Heart of Jesus. There is oxidation to the metal.No chipped or cracked beads, or any missing ones. EARLY - Milkglass Plate - The Lord's Prayer - MUCHO AGE TO THIS PIECE
Up for auction is an unusual rectangular milk glass plate that has the"Lord's Prayer" contained within it. As the outside is shiny, and it is not printed on it. I have never seen anything like this so I'm not quite sure how to describe the process or technique used to produce it(maybe a photo in glass) VERY INTERESTING and UNUSUAL PIECE! The Lord's Prayer is written in several different fonts and there are several small vignettes of angels and religious images throughout. The prominent image of our Lord is just above the word"Glory" at the end of the prayer. There is a thin strand of glass? on the top layer along the bottom right edge which ends in a'needle eye' loop in the center of the right edge which cannot be seen unless in reflective light(last 2 pictures) This was created in the making as this ... moreis an early piece so it has that crudity to it. Really great vintage milk glass juicer attachment with attachments and metal pulp disc for electric mixing stand. The glass bowl itself has absolutely no chips or cracks or any problems whatsoever! The metal pulp attachment is also perfect! The juicer attachments however do have some small chigger bites and spots on them. These came from an amazing estate of a very wealthy horse family. Dutch Milkglass (8 piece) Spice Set w/Wire Rack
Spice set is in very good condition. Blue paint. Patterns and lettering is strong and in great condition on the glass shakers. The paint on the lids is in good shape with a few flaws, the wire rack in in average"used" shape. Apothecary Drug Store Clear & Milkglass Covered Cosmetic/Medicine Jars RESINOL +
Welcome. Offered today is a lot of 3 antique drug store medicine jars. The first is a large milk glass jar measuring 4 1/4" tall x 4" in diameter. It is marked and made by Hazel Atlas. One of the well known utilitarian depression glass manufacturers. It has a tin screw top lid. The glass is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. The black paint on the lid shows signs of wear reflective of age and use. The next jar is clear measuring 3 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" in diameter. The glass is marked and made by Owens-Illinois Glass Co. with an approximate manufacturing date of 1930, making this of Depression age also. It has a tin screw top lid. The glass is in good condition with no chips or cracks. You can see the two mold marks giving this some character. The black paint on the lid shows signs of wear reflective of age and ... moreuse. The last jar is a milk glass jar measuring 3 1/4" tall x 2 1/4" in diameter. It is for the RESINOL CHEMICAL CO. Baltimore, MD. It is a medicine jar containing an antipruritic and local sedative. A soothing and healing preparation for eruptions and irritations of the skin. It also has the original paper label around the middle. This has a tin screw top lid with graphics both to the outside and inside advertising the product. This is in good condition with no damage to the glass jar and great retention of the lid graphics. This still contains some of the product. The paper label is also in tact. This jar dates to before the Depression, somewhere in the early 1900's.
