Here for your consideration is an absolutely beautiful pair of Fostoria candlesticks. The base of each is apx. 5" across. And it is about 8-1/4" across the triple holders. The pictures speak for themselves. Please view the pictures. As they are part of the description. Each candelabra has room for three candles. There is an etched design on the base. Which looks a little like a clump of grapes and leaves. Inspected closely, there is a touch of scratching on the bases, but overall these are in wonderful condition. Purchased from an Estate this is a beautiful pair of Art Nouveau Era candleholders. The candleholders are beautifully designed with a free form design. There are 3 candleholders on each piece. There is a cherub on each of the candleholders hand painted onto porcelain. Each of the cherubs one dressed in pink the other blue are holding bows with arrows and on the reverse side of each is there quiver with arrows in it. It appears the boy in blue is shooting the arrow and the girl is catching it. Heisey Co. triple candle holders/ candelabra from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The candles were produced as part of Heisey's ever popular and extensive"Orchid" pattern which was introduced in 1940. The candles are done on the No. 142"Cascade" blank with nice embossed detail to the scrolled arms and faceted candle cups. The No. 507 Orchid plate etch shows fine line on the base of each. The candles measure 7 1/2" high. 7 ¼" wide at the arms and 5 ½" at the base(The top cup on one is a little +/ 1/4" lower than the other) Both candles are in excellent condition with no damage. VTG PAIR FOSTORIA BAROQUE ETCHED GLASS TRIPLE CANDELABRA CANDLE STICK HOLDERS
This is a pair(2) of vintage triple candelabras. The were made by the Fostoria Glass Company of crystal clear glass sometime between 1936 and 1972 and have the"baroque" pattern. The bases have been acid etched and have an ornate design of flowers. Vines and leaves(I've been told it's"meadow rose etch#328" Looking from the side, the holders measure 5 3/8" tall, 8 1/4" wide and the bases are just under 5" in diameter. The candle holders themselves taper from 7/8" to about 5/8" in diameter. These are beautiful, well made pieces that are in excellent condition. Antique, heavy brass, Triple Frog-Footed, Navy style Candle Holders
According to my collector friend. These solid brass holders are probably from the Victorian era. This is based upon their construction(the brass pieces that make up the bases are attached with brass screws rather than some kind of modern adhesive) and by their irreverent designs. Each holder has an ornate, tripod base. There's a four toed, frog-like foot perched on top of each of the tripod's three feet. Three, muscular and straining bent legs come to points that hover just above the points of spear heads. The points extend just beyond the hems of what look to be tunics of ancient, Roman soldiers. The barrels of the candle holders are decorated with roped anchors, leaves, and vines. The holders seem quite heavy for their size(two pounds each holder) They are eight(8) inches high, three and a half(3 1/2) inches wide at the base, and ... moretwo and a half(2 1/2) inches across at the top. These will hold the"stick" candles. Note that the tops of the holders, which are removable, no sit perfectly straight. If you win them you could adjust them, but I didn't want to try.

But in that brief amount of time many well-known artists(Waylande Gregory, Viktor Schreckengost, Thelma Frazier Winter, Margaret Postgate, Alexander Blazys and others) became affiliated with the studio and their wares were offered in more than 1200 outlets.
