Antique Cast-Iron Enamel Tulip-Pedestal Tub
This graceful cast-iron. Enamel bathtub stands on an enclosed, attached pedestal giving it a tulip shape that would add elegance to any luxury bathroom. Sourced from a 1920s bungalow near Denver's Stapleton district, this tub graced the bath of a house that was the hub of a small dairy farm, according to elderly neighbors. Removed for renovation of the bath, the tub is in very good condition without dings or significant scratches except for a worn spot in the enamel near the drain(see foto) probably due to a persistent drip. Exterior finish is believed to be original. Size is standard 60 in. long, and 31 in. wide including the curved lip. Gently sloping back would make for slow, relaxed bathing. Antique Japanese Champleve Enamel Bronze Working Lamp
8 5/8" tall Japanese champleve vase converted to a lamp with a wooden scroll footed base. The lamp is 13" tall to the top of the socket. In good condition with a light ding shown in the last picture. The champleve feels a little rough. Consistent with its age. The lamp is in working condition. The cord is supple. The brass cap is a consistently aged patina. The wooden base is in excellent condition and has serial numbers on the bottom. The socket and switch are in good, working condition. A beautiful. Unusual porcelain bowl from the famous Hoi An hoard shipwreck. The Ming Dynasty bowl is of Vietnamese origin. Dating to approximately 1400 A.D. a sea salvaged and officially recorded piece from the'Hoi-An' Shipwreck. The deep bowl is of beautiful form. With ring base, flaring walls and slightly everted lip. Remnants of green and red enamel, depicting jeweled lapets, open flowers and leaf meanders cover the bowls exterior and interior. A wonderful piece. This rare piece has an enchanting. Romantic provenance. It was excavated from the important Hoi-An shipwreck. The Hoi-An was a huge, overloaded trading ship that sank in the mid 15th Century, probably due to a catastrophic typhoon. The ship was carrying a substantial cargo of High Quality Vietnamese Ming export porcelain. Up for bids at auction: Up for bids is this antique Cobalt blue and white enamelware/ graniteware lunch pail/ canister with lid and carrying handle. This great looking old piece of graniteware is an unusual style with heavy cobalt blue enameling on the exterior and white enamel on the interior. The lid fits just as it should and the handle is solid. There is an image of a lion on the bottom which is a trademark of some obscure company from the past. The handle has a couple pinholes from corrosion over the years- nothing to cause alarm and here and there. Are a few chips in the old enamel coating; just signs of old use. It measures 10 inches long. 7 ½ inches wide and stands 6 inches high, just short of 10 inches tall if I measure all the way to the top of the raised handle. Not much else to add. Old plastic, rhinestone both clear and colored. enamel and metal with possibly Paste, AB flake button, wood with steel stamp set, pictorial, abalone, large flower pictorial, mirror with pierced metal also signed yet can’t read it, brass shield(not magnetic) black glass with silver leaf like design that is concaved at the top giving it a wavy look, there is black glass with silver flowers signed La Mode and MORE! There are a lot of pictures below! There is one metal button that looks to be very old and it shows ... morethe antique vintage wear. There is also a glass pearl with a copper covering that needs repair. The glass pearl is in very good condition. There is one black textured glass with silver coating button that the self shank is broke. I saw this after all the pictures were taking so I left it in and added a small matching carved shell button and a nice signed–Costumakers- colored milk glass button. The mirror pierced button has some patina on it and the back shows wear. This button is signed yet I can’t make it out. It looks to be very old. The two wooden and steel stamp buttons have wear on the self shank; you can see this in the pictures. The large abalone button has a chip on the back. The large metal button with a flower on it has some wear. Other then what I have reported all others buttons are in good condition with normal antique/vintage wear. Check out my! Marked& signed to the base, and dating to the early 20th century. The vase. Which sits on a circular pedestal foot, is globular in form with a flared neck and has a carved decoration with a hand enamelled ground. The vase has six bands of decoration: the upper bands with a scrolling floral/ foliate design with alternating pink& pale green enamel grounds(the flowers on the green bands with tiny clear red enamel highlights) and the bottom band with an acanthus type decoration and a light blue enamel ground. The base of the vase has the dot pricked monogram H.K and the dot pricked MADE IN BTSH INDIA/ 1054.C Condition is very good. Antique Russian Silver enamel Push Bell with diamonds from 1900
On auction I have today an Antique Russian silver enamel with diamonds push bell. Materials: Silver with gold wash and enamel. Description: Push bell is completely covered in translucent red enamel over a radiating wavy moire engine-turned with a gilt leaf border. Decorated with a cabochon moonstone. Four cabochon amethyst stones and multiple diamonds. There are approximately 72 diamonds, two are 2mm and the remaining range from 1.0mm to 1.3mm. Totaling approximately 0.6 carots. There are Russian silver marks on the bottom and side. Next to both marks is an 84 and next to one mark is a double headed eagle. Maker mark is MP on cyrillic, Faberge workmaster Michael Perchin? He had his own workshop in St. Petersburg. Look at the pictures. Very well made. Size: 1"H x 2.5"W x 3.25"D. Weight: 5.85 oz. 166 gram.
