Antique?/Vintage Pair Double Arm 8" GLASS CANDELABRA CANDLE HOLDERS Prism/Spears
Pair of Glass Double Arm Candelabras 8 1/2" inches tall x 7" inches wide With Removable Bobeche Rings Bobeche Rings w/8 Octagon Prisms& 3" Spears Beautiful and Elegant Awesome Condition! This candelabra set is in very nice condition without any chips or cracks on the candle holders or bobeches. I did notice maybe a tiny chip or two on the spears. It has all of the original spears but not the octagon prisms. Two of the replaced octagon prisms I think might be crystal. Have newer wire hooks, and one prism is missing. I was able to hang the one spear with the missing prism on so you don't really notice that anything is missing. There is etching on the base of the candelabras. I don't know how old or their maker. They were picked up at an estate sale. I believe all of the pieces are glass and not crystal even though ... moreit is about as showy and sparkly as crystal. I'm not seeing the rainbow colors, nor hearing the higher ting of the spears. I hope that is helpful in determining why I think it is glass. However one cluster of grapes might be missing a green curley tendril- see pictures#3& 4. I am offering 2 Blue Satin Art Glass Candlestick hol ders. They are shaped like a bell. But they are NOT bells. This type of glass is sometime s also called frosted glass. The candlesticks are not shiny. They have a matte finish. They are crystal. They have a slight optic diamond pattern on the interior of the base. The pattern can be seen in the sunlight. At first. I thought they were Tiffin or U.S. Glass bec ause they are the exact same shade as the other Tiffin Satin glass pieces that I have. I don't know the maker. But think they may have been made around the depression. I can't find any candlestick holders that are similar to these. They are 7" x 3 1/4" There are tiny chips around the edge of the top rim. This pair is from an estate which I've been tasked to sell, and I believe them to be a set of candle holders. They are all glass, gold toned in color, with cut glass star burst patterns on their tops/bases. The central piece is sectioned, and they have tops as shown in the photos that fit snugly. I literally may have these shown upside down, as they appear to be single taper candle holders. The glass portions have bubbles, nicks and scratches and are not mint, but certainly are interesting. When placed with the star burst on the bottom, each is 2 1/2" high, 4" in diameter, with a hole cut out in the middle with a 1" diameter. This is a beautiful pair of blue glass crystal bobeche. The round top candle tray piece is flower shaped& has cut lines in it. The piece is 3 1/4" across with a 1" hole in center. The total length of the 6. 2pc pendants are 2 5/8" long. The wires& crystals look like a mix of older& new. The small 5/8" top crystal is a little lighter shade of blue& wires are cleaner brass with normal wear from use. The larger blue crystals are 1 1/2" long and more of a cobalt color. This is an amazingly heavy amber glass candle holder that is unmarked. So I am claiming it to be at least vintage if not antique because the original owner said it belonged to her parents(going into assisted living) before she was born. I think it looks art nouveau or art deco. It is in perfect condition with no lines common in pressed glass; it's one piece. There is one small air bubble in the very top point. Vintage CZECHOSLOVAKIAN AMETHYST Glass BOBECHE with Crystal Prism Drops This wonderful pair of Czechoslovakian glass Bobeche cups in a gorgeous shade of amethyst glass and featuring 6 hanging ameth yst glass facetted prisms. Wonderful form and color. Approx. measurements of the tops are 3" wide with the prisms/ crystals hanging 3 3/4" from top of lustre to bottom of crystal. Great antique condition with one of the tops having a tiny chigger to outside edge and both having just a bit of minor roughness around inside hold. There are also some of the crystals with minor chiggers/chips to bottom. Nothing major considering how delicate these are. Really a wonderful pair of amethyst bobeche and prism sets. VINTAGE GLASS CANDELABRA WITH TWO BOBESHES AND 16~ 2-PART PRISMS I don't know if this is Fostoria glass or not because I'm not a glass expert. But it looks like Fostoria according to the other pictures I've seen of Fostoria glass. It does not appear to be signed. There are two Bobeshes and 16~2-part Prisms, all in great shape and removable. The top prism is in an octagon shape with a pointed back. The Candelabra measures 10" at the widest point by ~8" tall. As near as I can tell, it dates between 1900-1940. Vintage depression glass black amethyst candlestick - unknown maker
Up for your consideration is an old beautiful art-deco candlestick or candle holder made of black amethyst glass. This piece is between 2" and 2 1/4" tall and about 4 1/4" across the base. There are three decorative"feet" and painted dots in red. Yellow, and green creating a flower and leave design on the base. Some of the paint dots have worn off and although I've seen these where the dots have been completely(well, they thought they were totally removed. but they weren't) taken off. I think that there are enough of the dots that are still intact that the design is still attractive and adds to the appearance of this depression glass piece. This comes from a smoke and pet free home. I am not a professional eBay vendor.
