Here for consideration is a magnificent chandelier by Gaetano Sciolari produced I imagine by lightolier with heavy brass. Heavy chrome, hundreds of glass rods and a feel much larger than the measurements suggest. This is a chandelier that can only be seriously appreciated in-person and not via photos. Plenty of photos provided showing details to see how good this is. Please review them all. General Description: Gaetano Sciolari has designed many great pieces. And this one is one of the largest designed. This exact chandelier may be found on first dibs, and another seller on ebay also has one listed with frankly, more alluring photos than mine- I do not have a studio. I photographed it with only about 40% of the rods in place due to the weight that was bearing on the ceiling hook. Twelve 40 watt bulbs illuminate 204 glass rods that are 18" each suspended on 6 solid brass and chrome plates that alternate in height. The quality of the brass and chrome is second-to-none. This chandelier came from an institution in West Virginia with a 7 foot chain linking it to a ceiling plate. The chandelier was kept in a humidity and temperature controlled environment which means it has survived well. It measures approx. 21" high from the top of the hanger finial to the bottom of the lower row of glass rods and is 21" wide. Condition: Brass and chrome is almost near perfect with only mention of some scuffing and light scratches to very few areas- not worth the mention but for the sake of accuracy must be. The only area to show any real patina is on the central spoke holding the three arms to the 6 fixtures. The janitors took good care of this but in the process over time. 5 of the glass rods have been broken- as the fixture has internal rods and external rods we recommend either sourcing 5 rods, or simply omitting them from the interior rod arra

Antique Crystal Candelabra EAPG Pressed Pattern Glass 3 Light/Arm Candle Holder
Absolutely beautiful three arm candelabra with tulip shaped glass candle holders. The body has a sunburst type pattern with large beading along the edges and a diamond point hobnail pattern. The brass has some tarnish and wear and the hardware is rusted. There are several raised areas to the edges of the large wax catchers. There is one small chip on the bottom/underside of one wax catcher on the edge of the opening where hardware is attached. The hardware on the arms is rusted shut and I will not attempt to remove the glass for fear of breaking. I will make sure that I have it professionally packaged so that it arrives safely to it's new owner. It has a slight sun purple tinge to the clear glass. The hanging crystals are not included. Up for auction from an estate sale is an Art Deco/Art Nouveau triple crystal glass candelabra candle holder. These beautiful pieces are in great condition and measures about 13" wide and 6 3/4" tall. The base measures 6 1/2" wide and 3 1/2 deep. On the base of one of the CANDELABRA is scratched" AMBRO" I believe this was the last name of the original owner. I tried to get a picture of this but it didn't show up very well in my photos. But it only adds to the character of these beautiful relics and barely even noticeable. the holders are two sided so you may display with out the etching even being noticed. These candle holders are said to be at least 80 years old if not 100 years old. They are also very solid weighing in at about 2.8 pounds each.
