Antique?/Vintage Pair Double Arm 8" GLASS CANDELABRA CANDLE HOLDERS Prism/Spears
Pair of Glass Double Arm Candelabras 8 1/2" inches tall x 7" inches wide With Removable Bobeche Rings Bobeche Rings w/8 Octagon Prisms& 3" Spears Beautiful and Elegant Awesome Condition! This candelabra set is in very nice condition without any chips or cracks on the candle holders or bobeches. I did notice maybe a tiny chip or two on the spears. It has all of the original spears but not the octagon prisms. Two of the replaced octagon prisms I think might be crystal. Have newer wire hooks, and one prism is missing. I was able to hang the one spear with the missing prism on so you don't really notice that anything is missing. There is etching on the base of the candelabras. I don't know how old or their maker. They were picked up at an estate sale. I believe all of the pieces are glass and not crystal even though ... moreit is about as showy and sparkly as crystal. I'm not seeing the rainbow colors, nor hearing the higher ting of the spears. I hope that is helpful in determining why I think it is glass. I'm betting that this pair of glass candle holders date from the Depression Era. They're 8.5 inches tall. The bases are 4 inches square the tops are 4.5 inches in diameter. They need 12 prisms each. I have a total of 6 so you'd either neither to swap the existing prisms out with something else or find an additional 18 prisms to have them complete. There's a metal rod that runs through the center of each of these so I guess a person could convert them to lamps if you wanted to. As far as I can tell. On one holder it has quite a bit of spider veins. all just wear from age. Above the base) So there is a slight wobble to them. The push-up mechanisms appear to be stuck(soaking them in hot water can often free the rods. Pair Phoenix Consolidated Glass Hummingbird Elegant Candle Holders Purple Stain
Here is a pair of glass candlesticks or candle holders in a hummingbird pattern. I believe the pattern is by Consolidated Glass or Phoenix Consolidated. They stand 6 3/4" high each and have the hummingbird pattern on an oval disk as well as under the foot and on the top where the candle goes in. Each is clear glass with a reddish purple stain. One is in excellent condition. But the other has some chips under the foot(as shown on photo) The chips only show when you turn the piece over and look at the bottom. Otherwise they both look great.

This is a pair of two beautiful green glass candle holders featuring decorative etched bases. The candlesticks measure approximately 4 1/4" across X 3 1/4" high. They are clear. Green glass in very good condition with no chips or cracks. I am not an expert on glassware but I believe these candle holders are depression era glass. There is a piece of tape on the bottom of one that is labeled with handwriting that is difficult to read. I can see a date on the label of" 6-5-29" I realize this is not proof of age but I believe the candlesticks are at least as old as 1929. These are some very well done examples compared to all the others I have seen which look similair but really don't have the detailing and finish that these have. Though the finish is tarnished from years and years of never being cleaned makes them look even better with out being shined or cleaned. These came from a very high end executives home who at one time many years ago was the president of the power company here in CT.
