This is an antique thick glass candlestick. It has three of the six hanging crystals it should have. I am not sure what type of glass it is(pattern. Gorgeous Large & Rare! Fine Antique Victorian Crystal Candelabra w/ Prisms
~ Gorgeous Large& Rare! ~ Fine Quality 4-lite Antique Victorian Crystal Candelabra or Lustre with Cut Glass Prisms This is a fabulous find from a wonderful old Connecticut estate sale. Which also contained pieces from the Vanderbilt estate formerly located at the site of the Empire State Building on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. We cannot establish for certain the provenance of this fine candelabra, so we make no claim; however the quality is beyond question. This gorgeous piece is very large and magnificent. Standing approximately 21" in height and nearly 13" in width and made of fine quality crystal in the Victorian era. Each arm of the candelabra comes off the sturdy and substantial hexagonal base and central stem. There is a small defect in the glass of the center stem(See Photo#5) which we point out in the interest of full disclosure ... morebut does not in any way detract from the astounding beauty of the piece. The three arms each terminate in a floral-shaped bobeches designed to catch any wax falling from the lit candles. Upon each is a single candle holder with a scalloped top edge. Each bobeche is adorned with either 9 or 10 prisms that are approximately 4" in length. One of the candle holders has a repair to it which is visible upon close inspection(See photos#9& 10) While the repair is not offensive. Huge Antique Red GLASS Long Crystal Prisms Luster Candle Vase Lamp Victorian
VINTAGE ANTIQUE LUSTER LAMP- VASE PAINTED This Vase/Lamp comes from the Pitts family estate. The lamp was in use in the family home sometime from the 50's to the 80's and we are unsure of where it originally came from. For it's age it is in excellent condition and light paint wear. We did not find any seams on this piece there are only a few very small bubbles and inside there is at least 1 very small at the surface inside. I can't feel any chips- there are no cracks or damage. The edges feel to be cut and have some sharpness. approx 12 1/2" t& 6 1/4" d top 6"d bottom. The crystals hang approx 5" overall(all 3 pcs) there are 10 total crystals- 3 per hanging. Antique Pair of Crystal Candle Lamps with Hanging Cystals
This is a gorgeous Pair of Antique Crystal Candle lamps with Hanging Crystals and Etched Globes. They stand 17.5" tall. The base is 10" tall and the globes are 8" tall. The bases are made up of a 4" 4" x.75" square crystal followed by a 2.5" square crystal cube. A 1.75" square crystal cube and a 2.25" round ball. The globes are beautifully etched with flowers and leaves. The rim is 4.5" in diameter and the bottom is 1.5" round. Each candle lamp has eight 4" long hanging crystals. This was once electrified and could be made so again if you choose with a lamp kit. There is a cut in the base crystal for a cord. They are gorgeous either way! Shipping includes insurance.

The earliest known example is a blue glass fragment from Nippur dated to 1400 BC and is mentioned in clay tablets from the reign of Assurbanipal(668–631 BC. Lead glass also occurs in Han-period China(206 BC– 220 AD) Here it was used in cast to imitate jade, both for ritual objects such as big and small figures, as well as jewellery and a limited range of vessels. In medieval and early modern Europe lead glass was used as a base in coloured glasses. This candle holder has light purple hue due to age: Varying additives have been used to stabilize the color of clear glass throughout time, each having a different effect. Until 1915, manganese was the element of choice. When the maganese is exposed to the ultraviolet radiation from the sun, it oxidizes and gives the glass a purple tinge. ~ no chips or cracks. This item is a beautiful Double Candelabra/Candle Holder with Light. I believe someone made it into an electric light but I believe you can take the electrical parts off if you didn't want the light. The light does work. It has two candle holders that fit into each arm and each have 6 glass prisms. It is a large piece. Measuring 8" tall from bottom of base to top(not including light bulb fixture) and it is 11 1/2" wide from arm to arm. the Base is 6 1/2" in dia. It is very heavy and I believe it is lead crystal. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a crack in one of the holders(see pic#9) which is not all the way through and barely noticeable. Antique 19th-c CANDELABRA SET Gilt Bronze Girandole CRYSTAL French Victorian Vtg
Garden Variety This wonderful old candelabra set is incredibly detailed and so charming. With a sweet garden scene as its motif. The central candelabra contains the most detailed base, with birds, flowers and even a snail frolicking in a flowery garden. The smaller candleholders flank the larger with a small bouquet of flowers atop a column-shaped base. I believe these might be French; the bronze work is very fine and incredibly detailed compared to similar American pieces by Dietz Brothers. I don't find any mark on these, so exact attribution is difficult. There are some very slight variations between the large and small pieces but they match well as a set. All are mounted on rectangular marble bases and festooned with glittering crystal prisms. Just a few of the prisms are imperfect with scratches and small fleabites and some also have ... morevery slight variations in shape and hanging wire. I'm unsure about whether these are brass or bronze. The gold finish has worn off or tarnished a bit and the marble has slight discoloration and wear. Faceted pillar, two scrolling arms and bobeches hung with cut crystal lozenges and elongated faceted drop prisms. Unknown age and manufacture(I know nothing about these) It is in pristine condition. Antique Crystal Candelabra EAPG Pressed Pattern Glass 3 Light/Arm Candle Holder
Absolutely beautiful three arm candelabra with tulip shaped glass candle holders. The body has a sunburst type pattern with large beading along the edges and a diamond point hobnail pattern. The brass has some tarnish and wear and the hardware is rusted. There are several raised areas to the edges of the large wax catchers. There is one small chip on the bottom/underside of one wax catcher on the edge of the opening where hardware is attached. The hardware on the arms is rusted shut and I will not attempt to remove the glass for fear of breaking. I will make sure that I have it professionally packaged so that it arrives safely to it's new owner. It has a slight sun purple tinge to the clear glass. The hanging crystals are not included.
