Gorgeous Large & Rare! Fine Antique Victorian Crystal Candelabra w/ Prisms
~ Gorgeous Large& Rare! ~ Fine Quality 4-lite Antique Victorian Crystal Candelabra or Lustre with Cut Glass Prisms This is a fabulous find from a wonderful old Connecticut estate sale. Which also contained pieces from the Vanderbilt estate formerly located at the site of the Empire State Building on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. We cannot establish for certain the provenance of this fine candelabra, so we make no claim; however the quality is beyond question. This gorgeous piece is very large and magnificent. Standing approximately 21" in height and nearly 13" in width and made of fine quality crystal in the Victorian era. Each arm of the candelabra comes off the sturdy and substantial hexagonal base and central stem. There is a small defect in the glass of the center stem(See Photo#5) which we point out in the interest of full disclosure ... morebut does not in any way detract from the astounding beauty of the piece. The three arms each terminate in a floral-shaped bobeches designed to catch any wax falling from the lit candles. Upon each is a single candle holder with a scalloped top edge. Each bobeche is adorned with either 9 or 10 prisms that are approximately 4" in length. One of the candle holders has a repair to it which is visible upon close inspection(See photos#9& 10) While the repair is not offensive. We are offering this lovely piece at a discount that is relective of the damage. You could decide to have this damage repaired by a professional should you so desire. Which would render this damage much less visible. For this reason, the piece is being offered*AS IS* and you should examine all of the photographs closely before your purchase. Wonderful Pair Antique MERCURY GLASS Candle Holders This is a wonderful matched pair of old silvered glass candlesticks. Each is mould-blown and silvered with mercury inside. The outside has an embossed leaf pattern and the neck is fitted with a tin collar into which fits a taper-type candle. Each measures 4" high and 3 1/8" across. Huge Antique Red GLASS Long Crystal Prisms Luster Candle Vase Lamp Victorian
VINTAGE ANTIQUE LUSTER LAMP- VASE PAINTED This Vase/Lamp comes from the Pitts family estate. The lamp was in use in the family home sometime from the 50's to the 80's and we are unsure of where it originally came from. For it's age it is in excellent condition and light paint wear. We did not find any seams on this piece there are only a few very small bubbles and inside there is at least 1 very small at the surface inside. I can't feel any chips- there are no cracks or damage. The edges feel to be cut and have some sharpness. approx 12 1/2" t& 6 1/4" d top 6"d bottom. The crystals hang approx 5" overall(all 3 pcs) there are 10 total crystals- 3 per hanging. Antique Victorian 1800's Bohemian Glass Moser Luster Mantle Candle Holder Rare
Antique. Victorian, late 1880's Moser Glass, Bohemian Mantle Luster candle holder. This beautiful hand painted mantle Luster candle holder measures 14 3/8 inches high, the base is 7 1/2 inches diameter and the top crown is 7 3/8 inches wide. The long Lusters measure 6 inches long by 3/4 inches wide and top round Lusters measure 1 by 1. The total length of both measure 7 1/4 inches long. Because it is about 130 years old, there is the normal wear of the paint, especially on the top rim where there is some gold paint wear(normal age patina for it's age) There is 10 matching Lusters. Some of the Lusters have extremely small chips in some of them on the side of points, and not all of them, but just some of them, but not noticeable to the naked eye unless closely inspected. Not a chip crack or mark on them. Beautiful hand painted roses and detailing of dots and thin white lines. Beautiful prisms accent the edge and appear to be original to the holders. The ruffled edges lead me to believe they are American made. They are a dark forest green color and are sensational in person. Also as you can see in the pictures. A great candle holder from around 1860. It is cut in the cutting of the day-pineapple with the top cut in diamonds. And elongated roundels. the bottom is cut in flat panels and inside on the bottom it is cut in a 15 pointed star. It stand about 12 inches tall and the diameter with the prisms is about 6 inches. It is complete with the candle holder insert and the cranberry glass chimney is shaded. The piece stands just a bit over 5" tall. During the Victorian era, these lights served as night lights but were also used on dining tables and elsewhere for soft lighting and their decorative effect. Antique 19th-c CANDELABRA SET Gilt Bronze Girandole CRYSTAL French Victorian Vtg
Garden Variety This wonderful old candelabra set is incredibly detailed and so charming. With a sweet garden scene as its motif. The central candelabra contains the most detailed base, with birds, flowers and even a snail frolicking in a flowery garden. The smaller candleholders flank the larger with a small bouquet of flowers atop a column-shaped base. I believe these might be French; the bronze work is very fine and incredibly detailed compared to similar American pieces by Dietz Brothers. I don't find any mark on these, so exact attribution is difficult. There are some very slight variations between the large and small pieces but they match well as a set. All are mounted on rectangular marble bases and festooned with glittering crystal prisms. Just a few of the prisms are imperfect with scratches and small fleabites and some also have ... morevery slight variations in shape and hanging wire. I'm unsure about whether these are brass or bronze. The gold finish has worn off or tarnished a bit and the marble has slight discoloration and wear. I also have some extra(antique) prisms that I'll include. Some wear to finish. To prisms, and to marble. Beautiful Rare Green Frosted Vintage Victorian Mantle Luster
Offered for sale is a beautiful rare vintage victorian style mantle luster. The main body of the luster is a pale frosted green with intricate translucent engraved details. The main globe features several scenes interspersed between sections of decorative engraved scroll-work. One scene is of a doe leaping over a fence. Another appears to be a pheasant in flight. There are eight clear prisms hanging around the exterior of the globe. The Globe itself is in excellent condition, with no visible chips, blemishes, or other damage. Three of the eight prisms have minor chips that are only visible upon close examination and do not detract from the enjoyment of the peice. One prism is missing the bottom 1.25 inches( the pointed tip is missing, see the last photo for details. the prisms measure 4 inches in length, not counting the stand alone circular ... moreprism above each of them(see second to last photo) Replacement vintage prisms can be purchased on ebay and else-ware, if the damaged prism is of concern to you. If the luster is placed near a wall with the shortened prism in the rear, it is not noticeable. The luster itself measures 10 1/8" tall, and 5 1/2" in diameter. I do not know the age or origin of this piece as there are no markings to be found on it. It has been in Eastern North Carolina for the past several generations. Charming Antique Victorian Satin Glass Jeweled Fairy Lamp
This Fabulous Jeweled Blue Satin Glass Fairy Lamp measures about 5.25" tall and the under plate is about 6" in diameter. It seems most of the Victorian Satin glass Fairy Lamps are attributed to Webb glass of England. But really I am unsure. I would also believe the Jewels are probably Czech. The first photo of the lamp shows its natural color. The following four show it with a tea light inside of it. It is a very scarce lamp.

However being very old glass there is grit and carbon debris in the composition and this has caused minute air pocket bubbles in the cut surface of the pieces. Sort of like flea bites. I tried everything to get brighter pictures too, inside outside, flash, bright light. None seems to have effect of making these be stellar looking. I get the aqua and amber piece to show up and the cobalt goes almost black and near non visible. Each is about 6" tall. the nipple ends have puckles or indentures and I am not sure if they are signed or these are scars but it is not damaged chips. More like impressions. They will support a 3/4" tall candle or flowers for that matter like hearse limo vases.Small science projects found ... morein the narrow aperture wells of each piece. I had to use a hat pin to get down into two of them it was age related tightly packed dirt and debris. Some lime scale coating to the amber& aqua pieces and it can be hidden from view with wax, clear lacquer or googone remover- which is the easiest to work with and cheapest.Best guess age 1830-70's by the type of glass and the wire. Victorian Era Brass Push Up Candle Sticks
Late Victorian era beehive pattern brass push up candle sticks. Sticks are in great condition. There is one small foundry flaw. This can be seen in the last picture. The round buttons are missing from the push up mechanisms. I believe these sticks have been coated with lacquer so they will keep there shine. I did not do this. Since the buttons are not attached to the rods I have not freed up the slides. This can be done by laying the sticks on there side in a oven at low temperature. The wax will slowly run out. Use a disposable foil pan or line a metal pan with foil. The sticks are 11 1/4" in height and have a diameter at the base of 4 1/2" from corner to corner. Posted with

These white milk glass candle holders are in excellent original condition. The first one was pressed into a two part mold. It has the Diamond Lattice pattern. The top has not been ground smooth. So it looks chipped, but is just very rough. If you look at it straight on, and turn it, you will notice that one side is just a little flat.not as full as the other side. I believe the hanging wire is original. It is 3 1/2" high and 1 3/4" in diameter. There are no chips, or cracks. The second one is a three part mold. Tumbler shaped with hobnails around the top and the bottom has a rosette rayed from the center. It is 3" high by 1 3/4" in diameter. There is one small chip on the inside top edge. This one seems to have had a very specific use. One side is embossed with a fleur de lis design. And the other side is embossed with"For ... moreBurnt Matches" I assume that it was hung on the tree and used to hold the used matches after lighting the fairy lamps. These Victorian glass Christmas light holders. Sometimes called fairy lamps were made in various colors and shapes. Some(like these) held oil and floating wicks, and some were made for candles. These could have used either one. I believe that these were made about 1850-1880. Expert collectors are always welcome to correct my descriptions. Offered is this unusual glass candleholder with removable bobeche(collar) and five three-section prisms. The bobeche. Prisms and part of the candle holder appear to be made of violet or purple glass, but the color is actually some sort of coating over clear glass. The entire piece may have been coated originally. As traces of color remain on some of the clear glass areas. The piece stands about 7 3/4" high. With a base of 4" in diameter. It is in good to very good condition. As noted. The purple color has apparently come off of the glass that is now clear, and some of the purple areas are partially worn. I see no chips. Cracks or scratches. Set of two Cranberry Red Candle Holders they measures a little over 6" tall and the base is 3 3/4" The color is Cranberry Red with gold accents. I can't find a name or mark but they do appear to be old. There is some wax residue which I did not try to clean. There is some loss to the gold but if it is as old as it appears that's to be expected. Here is a matching 3 piece candelabra candle holder set. The center piece is 15 1/2" tall and 13 1/2" wide. The other two pieces are about 14 1/2" tall. There are two missing prisms on the central one. Where the arms meet the mid section, but barely noticeable. Some of the prisms have a thinner wire connecting holding them in, must have been replaced at some point. Age appropriate wear to the finish, some flecks along the edges of the prisms and the marble bases, some oxidation, and a little out of shape. See photos. Combined Weight: 600 g(1 lb. 5.15 oz. This candle holder is nickel-plated and. Overall, is in very nice condition. It has one dent on the shaft and another two on the base. Spring inside moves correctly. Removable cap on top is tight– I haven’t tried to force it, but it looks like it could be easily gently removed with pliers. Base. Column and top are all solidly attached to each other, no wobbles etc. Red glass is actual glass that is quite thick. Not paint inside clear glass. Antique Victorian Crystal Floral Footed Candle Holders, Heavy, Ornate
Unusual& Unique Victorian Crystal Glass Candle Holders. Each has a tiered flower petal design and sits on 3 curved feet. Each measures approx. 4 1/4" tall x 4" in diameter. Since they are not exactly the same. I'm assuming they are hand blown. These are very old and beautiful, however one candle holder has chipping to petal rims.

Pair antique Victorian girandoles candle holders brass marble bears bees prisms
A pair of antique single candle girandoles with glass prisms and marble bases circa mid 19th century. Measuring about 13" tall, 5.75" wide near the top, and 3" deep at the marble bases. The pattern depicts two bears and a beehive. We believe they are composed of gilt brass. They are not marked, but Starr, Fellows& Co. 74 Beekman-St. New York) manufactured a pattern called"Bears and Bees" according to its 1856 catalog, so they are probably made by that firm. There is some minor chipping and discoloration to the marble bases- particularly to the corners. The top portions from which the prisms hang are a bit loose and rotate on the center column. The bottom portion of one prism is missing, and there are a few chips to the prisms here and there(please see photos) One prism does not match the rest, so at least one ... morehas been replaced.
