Vintage Chandelier Drop Crystal Glass Candle Bobeche + Extras - Xmas Icicles?
Vintage Drop Crystal and Glass Bobeche 8 lead crystal drops around a 3 1/2 inch glass cup. The long crystals measure 3 inches long. They are connected to round clear cut faceted crystals ½ inch in diameter. There is one small chip on the bobeche that you can see in my 4th picture. You do see this except in a certain light. It's right near a crystal attachment so it is hidden from most views. I'm included 4 extra replacement crystal drops If you don't want to use the bobeche. Pair/SET Vintage BOBECHE BLUE Glass Crystal Cut PRISM/Pendants 1 1/2" Teardrops
This is a beautiful pair of blue glass crystal bobeche. The round top candle tray piece is flower shaped& has cut lines in it. The piece is 3 1/4" across with a 1" hole in center. The total length of the 6. 2pc pendants are 2 5/8" long. The wires& crystals look like a mix of older& new. The small 5/8" top crystal is a little lighter shade of blue& wires are cleaner brass with normal wear from use. The larger blue crystals are 1 1/2" long and more of a cobalt color. The condition is good overall with normal wear, no chips that I could find. They also need cleaning. Will remove pendants& wrap in pairs. Open carefully! Wonderful form and color. Approx. measurements of the tops are 3" wide with the prisms/ crystals hanging 3 3/4" from top of lustre to bottom of crystal. Great antique condition with one of the tops having a tiny chigger to outside edge and both having just a bit of minor roughness around inside hold. There are also some of the crystals with minor chiggers/chips to bottom. Nothing major considering how delicate these are. Really a wonderful pair of amethyst bobeche and prism sets. This a lot of 6 rare vintage 6 pin Czech crystal Bobeche in a vaseline uranium glass. These are authentic crystals from Czech-circa 1940 and very unique. We have pictures which we listed showing how authentic vaseline or uranium glass looks under a black light which is the only fool proof way of detecting real uranium glass from fakes as they should glow in the dark as ours do. These are all in very good conditions for being over 70 years old. These are a pair of authentic vintage Czech crystal Bobeche in Vaseline glass. These are authentic crystals from Czech-circa 1940 and very unique. We have pictures which we listed showing how authentic vaseline or uranium glass looks under a black light which is the only fool proof way of detecting real uranium glass and fakes as they should glow in the dark as ours do. One of the Bobeche is signed"made in Czechoslovakia" They are part of a limited collection of antique crystals preserved by my grandfather who collected these in the 1940's. Two Bobeche Satin Art Glass Cream Yellow with Frosted Ruffled Edge Swirl
Two Bobeche Satin Glass in a Pale Cream Yellow. A Slightly Raised Molded Swirl design on the Exterior. Smooth on the Interior. I have done some research on the internet and it appears that the edging on the ruffle is called frosted glass and the whole would be called a frosted crested ruffled rim. It may be condsidered Opalescent as well. The pale creamy yellow glass would be satin, likely from the Victorian Era. I am not the expert and these are suggestions only so please let me know if this is not correct. The glass is strong without cracks. Shallow flakes or nibbles around the opening. There are a few flaws in the glass itself. Likely a result of impurities and present when they were made. I do not know where or when they were made. Victorian? Glass Candle Holder WIth Bobeche & 5 Prisms-Clear & Violet Purple
Offered is this unusual glass candleholder with removable bobeche(collar) and five three-section prisms. The bobeche. Prisms and part of the candle holder appear to be made of violet or purple glass, but the color is actually some sort of coating over clear glass. The entire piece may have been coated originally. As traces of color remain on some of the clear glass areas. The piece stands about 7 3/4" high. With a base of 4" in diameter. It is in good to very good condition. As noted. The purple color has apparently come off of the glass that is now clear, and some of the purple areas are partially worn. I see no chips. Cracks or scratches. Vtg 3" Czech Amber Glass Bobeche Wax Catcher 5 Pin with Dangle Crystal Prisms
This amber bobeche has a couple very small flea bites. It measures 3" in diameter and has 5 pins and 5 dangles. One crystal dangle has chip on round bead and chip on top of long dangle; a few minor fleabites on some prisms. She took a taxi to Cartier in New York City to purchase them. They aren't by Cartier but were sold there. She paid $14 each for them, quite a sum in the 40s! They were a gift for her mother, and going by taxi to purchase them, by herself at age 12, was an adventure! Candleholders are in excellent condition. Prisms are all fine except one has a small chip on the bottom point and another has a small chip on the edge of the round piece above the prism.
