Was a collector, former museum curator and lecturer on Asian art at the University of British Columbia, Canada. She also played an important role in creating the Canadian Society for Asian Arts which got its start in Vancouver in 1968. Over her lifetime, she collected a fabulous collection of Chinese antiques, mostly snuff bottles, and porcelain. Most of her pieces were collected between the 1940's- 70's in England and North America. We were lucky enough to purchase some of the nicer pieces which we are offering on ebay. All the items are completely authentic. Authenticated by Ms. Morrison, and also vetted by ourselves. The last picture shows other pieces we are listing today from the same collection. Unique crystal Bobeche prism set from Czechoslovakia circa 1940. Beautiful and elegant amber drops that are a real eye catcher on any dinner table. These are a hard to find czech crystal set and you will not see another one on e-bay. The auction is for a pair of Bobeche with 6 prism drops per piece for a total of 12 drops. The sets are in very good condition and have been properly stored for over 60 years. The Bobeche measures 3" across and has a 1" whole to fit a standard size taper candle. 3 Antique Vintage Candlesticks - Golden Amber, Aqua Blue & Emerald Green
Here are three candlesticks. Each in a gorgeous color: a rich golden amber, the aqua blue of Carribean seas, and a rich emerald green. The shape is terrific! Unlike many candlesticks. The bell shape catches any drips, protecting wooden surfaces and saving the ordeal of removing wax from fabric. I have taken a photo of one piece upsidedown. They are smooth and finished which seems as if a very thin taper candle could be used with the candlesticks reversed. Each is 2 1/2" tall. 3 3/4" at the top and 1 3/4" at the base. All three are in perfect condition. I am not certain of their age but were purchased at an antique barn some years ago. See photos below. Write with any questions. Vintage Amber Glass Double Flame Candle Holder
This is an amazingly heavy amber glass candle holder that is unmarked. So I am claiming it to be at least vintage if not antique because the original owner said it belonged to her parents(going into assisted living) before she was born. I think it looks art nouveau or art deco. It is in perfect condition with no lines common in pressed glass; it's one piece. There is one small air bubble in the very top point. I don't know is this is a plus or a minus. Weighs 2 pounds. 10" X 7" X 5 1/2" I don't think it is lead crystal(there is no"ping. I welcome any questions.

4 Vintage Czech Bobeche (2 amber, 2 clear) (1 8-pin, 3 5-pin)
4 VINTAGE CZECH BOBECHE Large: Approximately 3 and 7/8 inches in diameter with a 1-inch center hole. This is flatter than the 3 smaller pieces but it still has the curve. Three small: Approximately 3 inches in diameter with a 1-inch center hold. One still shows the label) One is an 8-pin piece and the other three are 5-pin pieces. These were found recently in an old trunk purchased in Rome. GA. I am not sure of any exact dates. Based upon my internet search and the age of other items in the trunk, the date of pre-1940 is the best I can do. Two of the bobeche are amber and two are clear. The two amber are not matching since one is an 8-pin and one is a 5-pin. These need a good cleaning and the wires or pins may need to be replaced due to age. There are some imperfections as can be seen in the photos that occurred during the manufacture of ... morethese items. There are a few tiny"bubbles" in the glass. Please examine all photos carefully to determine condition. I will be adding some groups of prisms for sale that were found near these in the next few days. A unique feature on these particular bobeche is that they have 8 pins on each of them to hang your favorite prisms and measure 4" wide. These are vintage crystals from Czech-circa 1940 and hard to find. We have not found any like these anywhere on the internet. Some of the Bobeche are tagged"made in Czechoslovakia" They are part of a limited collection of antique crystals preserved by my grandfather who collected these in the 1940's. However being very old glass there is grit and carbon debris in the composition and this has caused minute air pocket bubbles in the cut surface of the pieces. Sort of like flea bites. I tried everything to get brighter pictures too, inside outside, flash, bright light. None seems to have effect of making these be stellar looking. I get the aqua and amber piece to show up and the cobalt goes almost black and near non visible. Each is about 6" tall. the nipple ends have puckles or indentures and I am not sure if they are signed or these are scars but it is not damaged chips. More like impressions. They will support a 3/4" tall candle or flowers for that matter like hearse limo vases.Small science projects found ... morein the narrow aperture wells of each piece. I had to use a hat pin to get down into two of them it was age related tightly packed dirt and debris. Some lime scale coating to the amber& aqua pieces and it can be hidden from view with wax, clear lacquer or googone remover- which is the easiest to work with and cheapest.Best guess age 1830-70's by the type of glass and the wire. Total weight before packaging 246 grams 8 oz. Our shipments with Canada Post are based on weights for smaller items. Weight and density for larger pieces and orders. Vtg 3" Czech Amber Glass Bobeche Wax Catcher 5 Pin with Dangle Crystal Prisms
This amber bobeche has a couple very small flea bites. It measures 3" in diameter and has 5 pins and 5 dangles. One crystal dangle has chip on round bead and chip on top of long dangle; a few minor fleabites on some prisms. UNIQUE VINTAGE PAIR OF CZECH CRYSTAL BOBECHE AMBER WITH PINS
These are a pair of rare vintage Czech Amber Bobeche with 8 pins in each of them. These are vintage from Czech-circa 1940 quite unique. We have not found any like these anywhere on the internet and can make a great start to creating your own bobeche set with choice of prisms. They are part of a limited collection of antique crystals preserved by my grandfather who collected these in the 1940's. These vintage Bobeche have some signs of age as they are over 60 years old. They are in good condition and have never been used. They have been stored in their original wrappers from when my grandfather packed them away.
