Antique Victorian Bamboo/Wood Hat/Umbrella Stand w/ Mirror
This is a beautiful older piece from a recent estate. There were photos in the house of the owner's great-grandmother standing in front of this stand. Measures 77" high x 33" wide x 11" deep. Has a beveled mirror and a ceramic tile of European origin. The tile depicts a butcher at his trade. There are a few pieces of bamboo missing. But it is not apparent unless you are looking for it. Measuring about 11" x 11" Including the frame, this is an antique Victorian or early twentieth century mirror in a wooden frame painted gold and decorated with gesso or plasterwork strands of roses. It is ready to hang, with a length of twisted wire attached to two screws, and the backing paper looks like a piece of old anaglypta or raised-pattern wallpaper. As you can see. The gesso roses have some chips at the upper and lower center, in fact it looks like they originally continued above the top edge of the frame. This is a vintage wall mirror. The frame is ornate gold Gesso carved wood. Glass is fairly typical for a vintage mirror(though clearer than average) Upper right corner of frame has a small piece missing(photo#6) That seems to be the only spot where some material is missing. There are cracks throughout the surface of the frame adding to its character. Though it hasn't affected the structural integrity. It feels very solid. This is a large antique oval gold ornate mirror. The frame is made of wood with carved gesso flowers and bows on the edges. I would gu ess it dates f rom 1910- 1940. It measures 16 1/4" x 22 3/4" It has a pretty art nouveau design. There is a sturdy w ire on the back for hanging. The frame might have been repainted at some time. I can't say for sure. Beautiful antique wall mirror. Most likely Victorian though I wouldn't really date this as much older than the early turn of the century. It's about 54" wide and 19" tall from the highest point of the decoration in the center. It has 3 mirrored panes and it looks to be silverbacked. There is very faint tarnishing taking place underneath which you can see. But I think it adds to the patina. Looks great. There's also a very small mark on the glass in the middle pane near the edge, not very noticeable. It's made of wood with an ornate plaster front and top decoration of a shell. The left bottom corner has a small chip in the plaster. This mirror is in great shape for its age. It's very heavy and has a wire string in the back for hanging. This is an Antique Etched and Beveled Glass Mirror with 3 Shell Rose Buttons. It measures 27" high and 14 7/8" wide and is 1" deep. It is very old as you can see by the back of the mirror photo. It has a wooden frame bronze type guilding which has 4 chips. These can be repaired. See last photo. They are not noticeable when the mirror is hung. I have owned this mirror for over 40 years.

Antique Victorian Gold Gilt Wood Gesso Framed 3 Section Etched Wall Mirror
This is a stunning Victorian wall mirror with an elegant gold gilt wooden frame with gesso accents that is separates the mirror into three sections. There is a beautiful floral and stripe border etched into the back of the glass on each end. The mirror is in good condition overall with a few small spots of missing silver and faint cloudiness in a few areas. But mages look crystal clear throughout. There are some shallow scratches and scuffs on the far right mirror section that is slightly visible in the photo of that section. The frame is excellent with no missing gesso. The gold finish looks very good with only a few touch ups that were done in matching paint and are not obvious. There are a few tiny chips of paint missing, but they are not noticeable unless closely inspected. This is a long mirror, measuring 54" L x 18" H. There ... moreis a wire on the back for hanging, but it is a little bit long and is visible when the mirror is hung. The paper backing is no longer intact, but the cardboard panel is there and there are small square nails all the way around holding the cardboard and glass in place. I have wedged some extra cardboard pieces behind some of the nails that were touching the glass, and I will make sure to fill in any loose spots or exposed glass on the back with extra cardboard before shipping. I will place pillows over the top, wrap it well, double box it, and insure it during shipping.

This is one fabulous VICTORIAN hand carved hand mirror circa 1880. It is all original with no damage that I can detect. The mirror is carved from one piece of wood. Probably walnut, and is highlighted with black paint. It measures 16" long and is 9" wide. The mirror itself is clear and undamaged and is held in place by an oval piece of walnut that is held in place with 4 screws. This mirror would be great hanging on the wall or as part of a collection of hand mirrors. You will be thrilled with this outstanding mirror.

Antique Victorian Small Dresser Shaving Vanity Mirror Dome Topped Wood Frame
Very heavy for its size Victorian dome topped beveled mirror with wooden frame. The mirror has the shape and looks of a vanity or dresser mirror. We cannot see however any evidence on the sides that it was indeed suspended inside a base or stand. The wooden frame is domed at the top and curved at the corners without any visible joints any where that we can see. We are not sure what kind of wood the frame is made of but our guess based on its color is"cherry" The back of the mirror is almost entirely covered with a heavy flat piece of wood which is screwed at the edges holding the mirror in place. The mirror is beveled and looks very old and hand cut. The normal age stains or discoloration are showing through. And these only add to its character. The wood frame is in very good antique condition with only two areas showing a small ... morehairline crack. These are hardly visible. Beautiful set of Shadow Box shelves. Good quality. Heavy, and very old with original green paint. You can see the mirrors in the background have some peeling but it adds character to them and their age. They each have a sticker on the back of them and each stamped 814 shown in last two photos. Not sure if the hanging hooks are original or not as a couple hooks look to have been reattached on the back, please refer to photos. They hang perfectly fine with the hangers on them as photos show. I see one tiny knick on the inner left edge, near the mirror at about 10 o'clock. Great old dark patina on this wood. I'm guessing it has the sunlight hitting it on the right side for a hundred hears. This is made from one block of wood. No glue. The frame measures 11 1/2 inches diameter The mirror area is 6 inches diameter. The frame is 1 1/2 inches thick. The mirror is a replacement. The thumb tack was holding a string for hanging. This vintage piece comes from sometime in the early 1900's as do all of the pieces I am selling. The mirror is striking, beautiful, and magnificent when you first see it, just as you saw it for the first time here. It both commands you and invites you to look at it. The corners of the mirror come with Victorian Woodland Finials while the top of the piece features an elegant but not gaudy wood carving. The dimensions of this piece are as follows: 48" tall x 25" wide. Is in fair/good vintage condition with some wear to the old velvet, minor wear/scratches to the painted wood interior, top middle, and some scratches in mirror( from the back) For its age. Which I would place this in the late 1800s, it is in good condition. It has brass corner medallion accents, and the daisies are etched into the wood and painted a silvery color. Large Antique Victorian Wall Mirror Gold Gilded Carved Wood Bow Grape Leaves 26" This is an outstanding gold gilded wall mirror. A large and impresive wall mirror. Measures 26 x 29 inches. The mirror's diameter is 23 inches. Great condition for it's age. I see one chip in the gilding on the top of the bow. There is a small chip of the wood missing right above where the bow ties. Small cracks here and there. Definitely not a deal breaker. The paint aroung the lower center of the mirror is a beautiful ivory color. The mirror does have some fogging in places.
