The hands have red nail polish and lace cuffs tie with a red ribbon. It is 4 1/4" in diameter and about 4 1/4" high with the hands being about 2 1/2" long. Condition is very good for its age and material but there is crazing on the hands as seen in the photos and a chip in the base seen in the 4th and 6th photos. A great antique diorama. This is one fabulous VICTORIAN hand carved hand mirror circa 1880. It is all original with no damage that I can detect. The mirror is carved from one piece of wood. Probably walnut, and is highlighted with black paint. It measures 16" long and is 9" wide. The mirror itself is clear and undamaged and is held in place by an oval piece of walnut that is held in place with 4 screws. This mirror would be great hanging on the wall or as part of a collection of hand mirrors. You will be thrilled with this outstanding mirror.

This auction is for an antique mirror. It is oval in shape and measures approx. 25 by 31 inches. It has a gold liner and the frame has been painted black. There is some nice detail on the frame. I am uncertain of the age but can tell it is much older. Also quite heavy. There is some minor wear to the frame as can be scene in the photos. Thanks for looking. The mirror is perfect rectangle. I had to take the pictures angled due to the reflection. This is a nice sturdy heavy mirror. I would recommend a wall anchor when mounting on a wall.

This ca. 1845-1860 walnut on pine veneer frame is topped by deeply carved solid walnut crest and measures 38 ½” x 21 3/8” with 28 ¼” x 16 ½” reveal. It is constructed of 1 ½” thick wood and the entire frame appears to retain its original finish under a later coat of varnish. There are mounting holes on the side of the frame and you will note minor shrinkage cracks in the stable veneer which has no obvious loss. From the Victorian Era is this mini"Hand Mirror" It has a very detailed. Raised carved back stem, mounted on bronze. The stem appears to be silverplate, but I am not an expert on this and just relaying my opinion on what it looks to be. The front of the mirror has a gold painted pattern all the way around it. It was hard for me to get a proper photo of the painted edges so I hop you can see it a little but it is really detailed. It measures 4.5" long by 2.5" wide on the circular part of the mirror. Up for consideration is a lovely Antique Victorian Blue Guilloche Enamel Hand Mirror with a French Portrait of a Lady. The mirror and handle measure approx. 10 1/2" including the loop at the bottom. The mirror is set in fancy gold metal- either bronze or brass. It is a heavy mirror. There is a portrait of a lady in the center. I would guess the mirror to be French. There is a crack across it- see Pict. 3& 4 and I believe you could do a good job of repairing it if so desired. The crack does not go across her face but along her lower portion. She is still a beaufifully hand painted portrait. The blue guilloche enamel is in very good condition. The mirror appears to be the original mirror and it does have issues- see Pict 6. The upper piece that runs left to right is loose and needs to be re-glued. There is a crack in the wood on the back where it is loose- please see the picture that shows this. Antique Victorian white/ cream colored Gutta Percha hand mirror cute girl & boy
An antique Victorian era gutta percha dresser or hand mirror with embossed or raised design of cute little girl in bonnet and fancy dress and a little boy dressed fine cloths sitting on what looks like a pile or rocks. Maybe at a seaside setting. The detail of their clothing is very fine and she has a Kate Greenway girl look to her. This is a unusual colored gutta percha, which usually is found in black or browns. Don't know if they had a bleaching technique or how it was produced. As is typical of this early rubber type material, it often has cracks and shrink lines as it is an organic material and subject to drying and shrinking separations. There is a line across the bottom area of the body of the mirror that goes out to edge and around the edge but mirror still seem intact and solid, not ready to break apart or anything. I am sure ... morethe gutta has yellowed or discolored a bit from whatever it's original shade was and is a bit soiled but still looks and displays nicely. It is actually more of a cream or similar color, not a real white. It looks a bit more whitish in photos than in life. Last photo is closer to color. The mirror is there but also suffers a bit of the typical problems with these old mirrors. Has some spots and spiderweb type area loss of the silvering but you can still see yourself in it. ANTIQUE 1800s FRENCH VICTORIAN PORTRAIT BLUE PORCELAIN BRONZE VANITY HAND MIRROR. This Auction is for a Beautiful Antique Victorian era French Hand beveled Vanity Mirror. This Stunning Porcelain and Bronze Hand Mirror. Features a wonderful portrait of the La Grande Mademoiselle Anne Marie Louise d'Orleans the Duchess of Montpensier(May 29.1627- April 5,1693) She is considered to be one of the Greatest and Wealthiest Heiress in France's History and she was the Grand daughter of King Henry the IV. The front of this mirror is made of porcelain and is beautifully hand painted with a dark Limoges cobalt blue border surrounding the white background of her portrait(see pic#3)On the Back is a wonderful hand beveled mirror. The elegant Art Nouveau frame is bronze with gold gilt accents. It has a beautiful wreath pattern around the outside ... moreand a naturalistic scrolling design of leaves. Berries, and Flower petals on the unique double loop finger hole handle. This antique Mirror dates from around the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The Victorian Era. It is approx. 5 1/4 inches wide by 7 1/4 inches long including the handle. It is very heavy weighting about 11.6 oz. She has been lovingly used for over 100 years. So it does show signs of wear and age which is to be expected(see pics) The handle and frame are in superb condition. You can see that the porcelain was adorned with gold gilt scroll accents. That have been almost washed away with time, but must have been magnificent when it was new. Although the porcelain has been cracked,there are some age spots to the silver, this mirror is still in lovely displayable condition and has been adored for many many years.This Antique French Victorian Hand Mirror Displays Magnificently and would make a great addition to your dresser set or vanity collection. Antique Victorian Ornate Beveled Hand Mirror Etched Brass Filigreed Celluloid
Antique. Early Victorian, etched brass, filigreed oval, beveled, hand mirror. It has a sunburst colored, celluloid back with gold detailing, and the image of an ante-bellum woman in a broad rimmed hat in the center. The whole frame is covered with an etched design. The frame has 2 stress cracks, one on top, and one on the side) see photos, but the frame is solid and stable. Some damage to the silvering around the perimeter of the mirror, and 2 dark spots on the woman's image, from age. Early mirror in decent overall condition for 150+ years. Beautiful little antique wall shelf with a mirror. It is hand carved wood with lots of detail. The finish is worn and all original. The mirror is good for it's age with some scratches. Made in the late 1800's. It is 7" wide X 14" tall X 4 1/2" deep.

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN MIRRORS STUNNING HAND PAINTED PAIR
For sale by auction this superb pair of Victorian parlour mirrors. Hand painted with flowers and butterfly. These have been in the family for a very long time. Genuine Victorian mirrors and a rare example The frames are not original having been renewed in 1978 by my late father in law. The mirrors themselves are in good condition for their age with a little tarnishing. Judge for yourself by the photos and I can send more on request. Postage costs are still to be added owing to the value and the costs are an estimate. They will be shipped to winning bidder carefully wrapped in order to reach you in the same condition as they leave me.
