Antique Italian Rococo Style Carved Wood Hand Painted Framed Mirror 20 x 12 1/2
This is an absolutely beautiful Antique Italian Rococo Style carved wood and gesso mirror. Looks like it was carved from a single wood panel and is intricately painted with the most amazing details. So much detail. One would find details like this on a full sized piece of furniture. Hand painted with very intricate details of roses, flowers and the like. Base color is a rich deep creamy gold color which more than likely was originally an oil base white. Detailed with moss green and a profusion of red flowers embellishing this wonderful piece. Nicely varnished in clear giving this piece a wonderful warmth. Stands approximately 20 1/4 inches tall and measures approximately 12 1/2 inches wide and wood is over 1 1/2 inches at it's widest thickness. This was originally purchased by my grandmother who lived for a while in the Russian section ... morenear Knob Hill. Early 1900's ANTIQUE FLOWER PAINTED MIRROR "VINTAGE" Carved Wood Frame
What a Beautiful and Rare Find. Excellent Condition for it's age. Has to be early 1900's. Hand Painted Flowers around the perimeter with aged distress and decor paint color. All carved wood top and bottom with dowel spliced joints, see photo#3. Mirror is 19-1/2" at it's widest point and 30" tall. Very heavy with double hanging wire. Mirror is fully covered on the back with 1/4" panel, no makers name. I believe the wood frame is Mahogany. One age dot, about 1/16" in diameter, see photo#2, just above the couch in the photo. Antique Vintage Mirror Round Corners Signed on Back 14.5 by 18.5" Painted Wood
This old mirror came from an auction in Vermont. The glass doesn't appear old. But the frame does. The mirror measures 18 1/2" high and 14 1/2" wide. It has some dings, some scratches and some wear. I am not sure if the gold trim has been touched up or if this was the way it was originally. The mirror is loose at the top, it could use two more nails to hold it secure. The top back is signed Mrs. Goodwell maybe, it's hard to make out.

This is a primitive wood mirror with what looks to be milk paint. It is a faded pink/salmon color. It is hard to describe the color. It measures 17 1/2" by 19 1/4" The frame is 2 1/4" wide. The mirror measures 13" X 15" There are two little wood dowels at the top. I don't know why they are there. Because of age the mirror is faded and is scratched. see first photo) but there are no cracks. The last 3 photos have a piece of paper over the mirror to avoid the reflection. Lovely old antique/ vintage Hitchcock Tole Mirror in creamy white with gold accents to the turned wooden balusters with gold rosettes. Condition is very nice on this piece considering the age with no breaks or cracks. The wood still has shiny luster to it. There is a slight patina to the creamy white adding a faint yellow typical on white tole. The reverse painting is in very nice condition, with no peeling or cracks. There may be a slight scratch here or there. The back still has the original authentic Hitchcock Company paper with a letter from Lambert Hitchcock dating November 17, 1832, and a picture of his factory. Here you are bidding on a"Antique Wood Beveled Mirror" This is a 19 x 19 inch mirror that has a great look to it. It appears to be made of two types f wood but I can't say for sure. The raised peice of wood in the middle has been painted a tan color. It may have once been completely painted and then the outer part of the mirror stripped as there is some leftover paint in the crevices. That's what give this mirror a unique look.The wood closest to the mirror is darker the the outer piece. It may be walnut but i can't be sure. It is a beveled mirror which itself is in very good conditin. It has a wood back as you can see and could date pre-1900. It is intact ad in overall very good condition as you can see in the pictures. The mirror is a tiny bit loose but nothing that an added'chock' wouldn't fix. Be it a ... morenail or a tiny sliver of wood. Vintage French Provincial Wood Wall Mirror Hand Painted Black Grey White Aged look. We painted up this solid wood mirror with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. We used graphite/ her version of black. And then aged it to grey shade with wash of old white. There are peaks of black showing through here and there, varying shades throughout. Looks nice and old. Great French Provincial form. Most likely mfg in the 1950s or so. Few of the decorative carved wood sections missing there and there but very hard to tell do to paint covering the raw wood edges. The mirror measures 45.5" by 29.5" wide. The mirror is in good condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or black aged spots. Good crisp image quality! Ooh la la chic! Click photos for larger image! Description& Condition: Up for sale is this antique circa 1840 American Federal gilt wood wall mirror. It has a reverse painted tablet on top with a large house on a hill by the sea. There are sailboats with sails down just outside the home and the painting is surrounded by a white ground. The mirror has twisted columns and molded top and the gilding is spectacular! It measures 31 1/2" tall by 19 1/4" wide at the top. It is in very good condition but I believe the mirror is replaces as well as the original wood backboard which is now a fibered board. This exquisite mirror is victorian in style and is made of gilded wood. I think it is from the 1900-1940 and is in excellent condition. It is very ornate and measures 23" by 28 1/2" It is rare and so is hard to duplicate but definitely has that French country look. The carving is exquisite.
