It has been hanging in my house all that time& now I have added a cabinet in my house where it was& I really don't have room for it now. It is in original. Unrestored condition. Mirror is heavy for it's size, 12" by 22" It would look even more fabulous with a new coat of gold paint, but I like to leave items in their original condition. A nice old vintage Wood and Gesso ornate picture mirror frame. It is in good condition with some signs of wear and some losses to the applied decorations. It is marked by the maker with a metal tag on the reverse side for Narcissus Mirrors. This large mirror measures 3 feet 1 inch high and 1 foot 11 inches wide. The inner opening measures 2 feet 6 inches high and 1 foot 6 inches wide. It has a nice look like that of the frames on Maxfield Parrish Prints from the Art Deco Nouveau periods. It's round, about 8" across, and the glass border makes a scallop around the mirror. The mirror is about 5" wide& 6" high. Standing, it's about 8" high. The wood is blonde, and is varnished. The three hinged panels are of wood with ormolu mounted floral detail and a very decorated clasp to hold the mirror in the closed position. Each panel has its original beveled glass mirror. The silvering is largely intact although there is a little"ghosting" to the left mirror. The entire tryptich mirror is in very good original condition with the only minor issues being that the two celluloid side panels are each very slightly lifted on one edge. It has a nice French look to it. There are some light scratches to the mirror. And some ghosting but nothing that takes away from this. I love decorating with mirrors like this, on your vanity area, and I think they add so much charm to your decor. On the back there is old brown felt. The beveled mirror is original, with wood back board and brass loop to hang. Mirror frame measures 17" tall by 11-1/2" wide, the three arms with bobeches and sockets are 4-1/2" deep by 3-1/2" tall. Just purchased this today and the seller told me she thought the frame around the mirror was chalkware? Its wood on the back so I was surprised she thought it wasn't wood. So I'm informing you of this information. I thought it was stunning the work around the outside of the frame is like gold beads and the inside next to the mirror is a gold color detailed design as well, they are not the same. Florentine Italian Swinging Dressing Mirror Shadow Box Flowers Carved Empire Feet click picture to enlarge Just found this beauty on a buying trip.This is just a wonderful Dressing table Mirror.it is Venetian and the wood is painted in the traditional Florentine style with cream paint and Gold Gilding.the feet are in the Empire style and appear to be hand carved.the piece is OVER the MOON!The mirror is swing mounted and the frame itself is all a panel of mirrored shadow boxing with Silk flowers and asparagus fern mounted inside in the Victorian style. the frame is 2 inches deep by 2 wide.actual mirror is 8 inches wide by 11 tall.over all the dressing mirror measures 18 inches tall by 16 wide.it is on a 16 by 5 inch base and the carved feet are 1 1/2 inches across and 3 inches deep.This is just GORGEOUS.I have never seen anything like it.probably ... morefrom the late 1800's definitely Italian and all wood construction.paint is worn and areas are chipped.one can see the wood through adding to the patina of the piece.there are two cracks across the frame in the glass on the right hand corner.so DIVINE*Please Bid Carefully As All Sales Are Final* All items are from a smoke free home. We are offering for sale. An exquisite, Art Nouveau style, gilt, dresser mirror that measures 9 inches high, 9.50 inches wide at the base and 6 inches in diameter at the mirror section. The beveled mirror is held in place with gilt brackets. It rests upon a gilt base that is shaped like a sturdy vine from which large roses and leaves grow along the base and up the side of the mirror. A solid, metal, gilt backing has been placed in the back from which a gilt stand has been placed to hold the mirror up. This outstanding piece is in EXCELLENT ESTATE CONDITION. Not much wear to the gilt finish other than that which would be consistent with its age. A few very minute flakes in the mirror itself and a minute amount of discoloration in the mirror which is very minor. Very beautiful antique mirror. This mirror is just under 3/8" thick so it is a well made mirror. The last pic shows some chip places on the back but because of the scallop cuts on the edge of the mirror. These are never noticed from the front. Great piece, let me know if you have any questions. It is absolutely amazing to me how many beautiful things they had that were never used. Possibly they were impulse purchases ... moreor more likely, gifts that were never or rarely used. This Lovely Antique Hand Vanity Beveled Mirror is another Great Estate Find. It is about 9.25" Long and the round portion has a Diameter of about 5 1/8" Most likely it dates back in time to the period of the 1920s to 1930s and features pretty Pansies with soft green leaves. In full blossom. There are 2 photos of the mirror portion. One was taken outdoors and is reflecting Geraniums growing nearby; the other was taken indoors and is reflecting a textured ceiling panel. I'm not sure which gives a better view of the mirror so I posted both here. Unfortunately. There is a large horizontal crack running across the porcelain at about the center. It runs across the area of the Yellow Pansy. On the mirror part in the bevel, right near the metal edge, there is what appears to be a small discolorated area. You can see a fairly good enlarged close-up in last picture. I don't think it is cracked as it cannot be felt to the touch. I think it is some sort of little discoloration behind the mirror glass. All that being said. It still makes a beautiful addition to an Antique or Romantic Period Setting. Please do not

For sale is this Beautiful antique Chinese enamel hand mirror. This is in very nice condition. I believe the mirror is set in brass. I'm not really sure. One side of the metal has a dent, See photo. This has Vibrant enamel work with birds, and flowers. I'm not sure what type of birds they are, See photos. It measures about 10 3/4" long and about 3 5/8 inches wide. It has the original mirror, Mirror is beveled. The mirror is a little loose, from age. The mirror glass has scratches and it is missing some silvering by where the handle connects, see photo.
