A nice old vintage Wood and Gesso ornate picture mirror frame. It is in good condition with some signs of wear and some losses to the applied decorations. It is marked by the maker with a metal tag on the reverse side for Narcissus Mirrors. This large mirror measures 3 feet 1 inch high and 1 foot 11 inches wide. The inner opening measures 2 feet 6 inches high and 1 foot 6 inches wide. It has a nice look like that of the frames on Maxfield Parrish Prints from the Art Deco Nouveau periods. Outstanding Victorian Era Rare Stick and Ball Mirror or Picture frame
Up for auction is one very sweet wooden frame I would estimate was made in the 1880's-1890's. This frame is a very large 46" tall x 34" wide at the bottom x 39.25" wide at the topx 2.25" deep. Frame is in excellent condition except for a piece of rail that has been damaged. This is easily replaced and made perfect again. This frame is very tight. And I know how it will look against a painted wall or over a mantel as a mantel mirror, or as a large bathroom or entrance mirror. You will not find another on Ebay, it's very unique. Antique easil beveled mirror/picture frame heavy iron purple antiqued
This is a very unique antique mirror or it could be a picture frame. I got this at an estate sale. The lady was 102 and still living. They had to put her in assisted living. She had a house full of antiques, how old this mirror is I do not know but by the looks of everything else I would say very old. I do not know what the metal is. It is very heavy, it weights over 8 lbs. so it could be cast iron? I just can not say because I do not know for sure. I was told that if a magnet stuck it was iron. The magnet sticks. It has a old mirror in it now but it could hold a picture. It has the swivel stand. It can stand or hang. The mirror has the dark spots and gray lines in it. The mirror is beveled. The lady loved purple. Everything she had was purple. The frame looks like it has been antiqued purple with a white wash, some of the brass shows through ... morea little. Less than 1 in 100 Victorian foyer/mudroom mirrors are round! HERE IS YOUR CHANCE! Much harder and more expensive to make. VERY unusual dovetail joints(close-up photo) This is a genuine oldie. Around 130 + years old. Deeply bevelled, original mirror, wood backing, hanging wire. Spectacular leafy vine carving all around. Frame has great depth. Just toss the mirror in the garbage, if interested in just the frame(half price shipping for just frame) Shows lots of age/wear but good overall condition. The glass is not perfect, still very usable, no problem. This is a genuine Victorian antique and weighs about 20LBS. Therefore, I will not guarantee that the mirror will make it intact. I believe this frame is from the 1880's. It has four layers of frames: 1. Black with Eastlake incised leaves and corner detail. 2. Narrow gilded frame. 3. Black with marbled effect. Also with incising of leaves. 4. Innermost frame is also gold. There is beveled mirror I think it has been replaced not original. Backing paper and hanging wire are also original. vintage vanity mirror or picture FRAME, very ornate bronze frame12x9", GORGEOUS
Beautiful ornate vintage mirror or photo/ picture frame with glass insert. Looks stunning hanging on the wall. Originally had a stand but it is missing(see holes on the back bottom) Glass insert has a few chips on edges but is not visible from the front. Slide the glass in and out from the top. Can replace it with a mirror. There is a marking on the back that looks like PALLAPR 2 but I cannot be sure. Original patino. Wire has been wrapped around frame to use for hanging since the stand is missing. Total measurements: 12"x9" I do not know what it is made out of- bronze. Brass or pot metal. Antique Mirror / Picture Frame. Stunning Gilt Gesso Moulding. 19th Century.
Beautiful Victorian Mirror/ Picture frame. The detail is gilt moulding in wonderful condition depicting oak leaves and acorns. It measures 74cm x 63.5 cms. Inside the measurements are 54.5 x 45cms. It is 5 cms deep. It houses a later mirror and the back is plywood. But I think it would have been a picture frame originally. There are 2 original iron rings to attach a cord. It looks beautiful as a mirror but will also be perfect housing an original painting. It is in great overall condition; there is a tiny loss to the gilt gesso, a few mms, hardly noticeable, on the inside, see pic. It has had worm at some point in the back, but this has long gone. I am auctioning this wonderful piece with great reluctance. It is a stunning piece and will look super hung in a traditional home.

Vintage Solid Hardwood Handcarved Picture / Mirror Frame 16x10 lot#145
This frame is quite solid and sturdy. There are no splits. The Hardwood used is not known. It is about 3/4" thick. The outside measurements are 16' tall x 10" wide. The inside measurements are 9-1/4" x 4-3/4" The picture makes the frame look crooked but it is very strait. Be sure to check my store for other antique and vintage items. Thank you for looking.

Ornate Antique Oval Picture Frame Cast Brass or Bronze Gold Baroque Wall Mirror
This cast brass picture frame has been converted from an easel back photo frame and to a mirror made to hang on the wall. The frame measures 11" by 9" across the outer rim with a 5" by 4" wide opening for the mirror. There is a metal plate on the back attached with four flat head screws and a wire that goes from each side to hang on the wall. This is not cast iron and metal is not magnetic. It is very heavy and metal feels cold. I have had this for many years and it looks very nice on the wall. You could remove the mirror if you wanted to use for a picture or photograph.
